A beautiful 18th century house in wooded grounds at the heart of the Polders, 6km from Mont St Michel and 3km from the sea. Generous breakfasts featuring home-made crepes and jams are served in the living room or in the garden. Sun beds and patio furniture in the garden. Large, comfortable rooms: 2 family units, each with double bed, twin beds, private facilities. 2 double, en-suite rooms. Guest lounge area with firpelace. Kitchen available. Table d'Hote evening meal available out-of-season from 1st September to 30th June.
The BEST place I ever stayed in France, regardless of price.
Reviewed By 562manriquegMarie Jo is an excellent hostess, she prepares the best continental breakfast with 12 different cheeses, 12 different breads that are baked in-situ, and 12 different marmalades that she makes from the fruits at their property. The little house we got for five people is a very cozy wood cabin with modern windows and a very sophisticated shower. The whole place exudes good taste, and the hosts are the most welcoming and warm people you can ever meet. You would expect a premium rate for this kind of treatment, but the price is actually modest. When I read the reviews and saw the price it seemed too good to be true. It's true, and truly good. The only reason it is not expensive is that this is a relatively remote location, but it's still very convenient for visiting Le Mont Saint-Michel (10 to 15 minutes at the most). The best value possible.

Quiet hôtel in thé bay, with 3 différents Rooms :Economic : SMALL room (9m2) with télévision, toilet and shower...Double : standard double roof (15m2) with télévision, toilet, shower...Deluxe : big room (40 to 65 m²) with balnéothérapie shower, salon, accept 2 to 4 persons.
It was okay, just wouldnt recommend to anyone.
Reviewed By BenableI was happy with the room and the initial interactions with staff. However, the next day I wanted to extend my stay. The lady on reception took payment for the previous night then told me they were fully booked. I then booked online whilst still in the hotel and went down to reception where they told me I should have booked at reception to avoid booking fees. I was not impressed. They did however manage to allow me to keep my room which I was grateful for. Finally there was no facilities to make drinks, tea or coffee etc and I was shouted at when I went to get a coffee in the morning from the machine and told I had to pay 11 euros for the breakfast. I can understand paying but I had just spent 110 Euros on rooms and I just wanted a coffee. This hotel was one of the more expensive I stayed in whilst in France and probably the one I really wouldnt go back to. It was just disappointing at how I was just dismissed when trying to book and when trying to get a coffee. I wont be staying here again, nor recommending it to anyone else

Reviewed By DominicP256Attention il ne faut pas se tromper ds son choix ici c est convivial avec une hôtesse formidable qui a répondu nos besoins et en plus charmante et accueillante La salle de bain est commune et hors du temps du coup pas de mitigeur donc il faut tâtonner pour régler l eau de la baignoire Prendre une douche est un peu compliqué en l absence de rideau de douche mais en s accroupissant ça le fait et on met un peu d eau dehors Seul point difficile si vous avez quelques problèmes de mobilité regardez bien les photos de la salle de bain et aussi il y a un escalier pour accéder au chambres L insonorisation est conforme à l âge de la maison mais avec un peu de respect c est très supportable Petit dej inclus et super copieux gâche pain crêpe et confitures maison Le pain est divin Merci pour nos échanges et cette excellente nuit au plaisir d échanger bientôt

Very dirty room
Reviewed By Lizy CUnfortunately we received a very dirty room. Blood stains on the curtains. Soda stains on everywall. Multiple Hairs in the beds. Fungus in the shower. Dirty drains. Although the reception lady was killinh to help huis. We could only get a small discount IF we stayed. OR she could clean the room. But a room in this condition is not simply cleaned. At the end we left without any refund. We have found another hotel.

Jacky and Jocelyne welcome guests to their large 17th-18th century longhouse at the heart of the Bay of Mont St Michel, between Cancale and Mont St Michel. The Mont itself is 8km and other places of interest on the Emerald Coast are between 10 and 35 km away. Lake nearby. Shops 200m. Railway station 9km. English spoken. 5 en-suite rooms for 2 to 4 people. Living room, lounge, kitchen for guests. Garden with lawn and private car park. La Bergerie is ideally placed for visiting the region.

Reviewed By Simon KStayed at the place for only one night which turned out to be a mistake :) The whole stay felt like visiting close family. Very friendly owners, always willing to help and make you feel comfortable. Plenty of friendly animals around as well. The room was small, comfy and idyllic, breakfast was very tasty as well. Will definitely try to visit again and would recommend the bed and breakfast if you want to experience genuine French countryside and meet some lovely people to boot. Also note it's quite close to Mont St. Michel.

Our attractively furnished attic room was extremely spacious, with adjoining modern bathroom – we could look up at the stars through the skylight at night and wake to the sounds of cooing pigeons and crowing rooster. Pots of Tea served on the rear lawn by Ruth were enjoyed and relaxing, the Isa Brown and black/red cross chickens curious for morsels of food. An comprehensive selection of maps, books and literature on the region for sightseeing information. Use of the kitchen and fridge space for B & B guests is convenient for snacks and beverages. Breakfast was continental style with homemade preserves and yoghurt. Gites are also available for families.

Reviewed By Marek RModern, clean and tidy room. Friendly and helpful staff, minor problem with Internet connection solved immediately. I would definitely come again. It seems to be a quiet place, not too many guests here today.

Reviewed By Cat GMy husband and I had the honor and pleasure of staying at Paul's wonderful B & B, Aux Fees Des Greves. It's a lovely home, in the Normandy countryside, with spacious and clean rooms and beautifully decorated. Paul provided a wonderful French dinner, complete with wine and Calvados. It's so worth having dinner here instead of the very touristy Mont St. Michel. And the breakfast on the following morning was exquisite. We were so impressed with Paul and his beautiful hotel.
