I’ve seen her on both occasions and she is a delight. As for the Club Floor, Sylvia, Felix, and Kevin provided the upmost of professionalism and elegance that are needed for a Club. I appreciate their thoughtfulness. This was my second stay at this location and Service is excellent. Professionalism at its best. I want to visit again as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone!

The hostel enjoys the perfect location: just next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall in Sanduo Shopping area. It just takes 2-minute walking from the MRT station (R8, Sanduo Shopping Area Stop) to the hostel. Opposite to the hostel, Xing Zhong Night Market is your convenient choice to taste Taiwan food. Guests can also go to the largest Night Market in Taiwan- Kaixuan Night Market which is not far from the hostel as well. D’well is specialized for backpackers: a fashionable, safe, clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation. It provides you the chance to meet and share the experiences with international travelers. There is a spacious common area in the hostel where guests can read books, chat and share travel experiences with friends and travelers all over the world. All rooms are designed with anti-fire facilities. The bunk bed structure takes one year to design to provide guests with a wide bed for a comfortable sleep. The shared shower rooms are divided for male and female separately. All shower rooms have been nice decorated and equipped with good quality facilities which are used in the hotels. D’well will accompany with you to listen to your dreams. Leave the familiar hometown and explore new destinations, new experience, new life and new friendship. D’well Hostel is aiming to become the best accommodation in Kaohsiung for those backpackers who are looking after their dreams.
Great location, nice hostel but uncomfortable beds
Reviewed By BayjbStayed here for a few nights and overall had a good stay. Things are very non traditional right now due to the COVID-19 virus but the full time staff was polite and helpful. They took a lot of steps to help guests stay with peace of mind. Dorms are basic but do have working AC which is great because the hostel is hot AF so the rooms are a nice break in some cool air. The laundry available is good too, with line drying or a dryer. The rooftop is nice but cluttered with a variety of stuff, but the koi pond is a nice touch. Bathrooms are basic but the water pressure is nice a good number of showers and toilets. The dorm beds are truly some of the worst I’ve slept on. Anywhere in the world. They are as hard as a rock and like you’re sleeping on the ground. Staff tried to help soften it but did not much, but appreciated the effort. I could only stay 3-4 nights because of my back. It’s not a comfortable sleep. And no privacy curtains and lockers don’t lock too. Breakfast is toast with spreads and coffee, it’s fine and a PX Mart is close by to pick up supplies. Hostel was cleaned regularly but the quality of the clean varied. Some of it was fine but a lot of it was very poorly, sloppily done, especially in the bathroom. From observing the working for accommodation staff from outside of Taiwan, I’m guessing that’s where it came from. For the cost and location, the hostel is a real value. I would try staying there again when COVID passes because it was a very non traditional time when I was there. But the beds are a big issue for me.

Reviewed By oftheplanetStayed this hotel several times from its low-profiled opening years ago. It's a neat, quiet, stylish and simple but unique decorated hotel. I always enjoy the stay because it's really a quiet and decent hotel and can have a "real good rest." Every time staying this hotel then it seems all slow down and can feel "oh, finally it's quiet around." When arriving the hotel and the good and soft smell welcome you first. The staff are cool to deal with the check-in procedures. Maybe, it is advised the staff show more enthusiastic. The breakfast quality is the same as usual. However, the environment is somehow disappointed since lots of guests than before. It's quite noisy and the staff are quite rush and walk quickly and loudly, it quite ruins the beautiful morning. Besides, some ordered tea and coffee are missed until reminding the staff again. Overall, I love the room quality, but if the breakfast environment can remain the previous quality, it will be still the hotel I highly recommend.

Reviewed By ambamb8Following makes me a returned customer for this hotel. - High floor rooms offering great view - Breakfast at THE ROOF offering best harbour view in KaoHsiung - Breakfast food is above average, lots to choose from, yet the high ceiling environment is extremely comfortable. Lots of natural light. - Room is modern and neat. Finish is more "functional" yet it's comfortable. - The price performance ratio is very good. At this price point, this is my preferred choice. Car Parking is not cool but ok. Hotel is converted from (mid to top floors of) a commercial building. It's own underground car parking is NOT spacious with many mechanical parking. To get around this, hotel has rented an outdoor car park close-by as complimentary parking space (one free checkout per day).

Reviewed By 124alicenChoose this hotel because they provide room with 3 single bed in a room. Plus the review from TripAdvisor. Nice place and walking distance to the nearest train station. Very convenient. Below the hotel has a night market. Not a big one but it is good enough for us in this short stopover. They have 24 hours Bar which is a nice touch. Breakfast variety is alright but would recommend to try the local delicacies like the Taiwanese sausage, mince pork rice which they serve during breakfast. With the price that we pay for, it is value for money.

Bad bathroom
Reviewed By DantamaThe room is decent sized for Asia. But the bathroom is tiny. It has a plastic portable tub that is too small to bathe in, but too big to not block the shower. The shower doesn't have it's own stall, so it just sprays in the direction of the tub. When you shower, the water runs past the toilet, and under the sink. So the floor is wet all day. The fixtures are very old looking. It does have a washer on the tiny balcony, and that was nice. The view from the 28th floor at night is great. But during the day you mostly just see the building under construction across the street. I based my three rating relative to price. I don't expect a cheap hotel to be wonderful.

Average but conveniently located
Reviewed By Andies WIt's inside a residential block which is quite an old building. The room size is a bit smaller than expected and seen in the pics, however, there you'll find a washing machine (free washing powder), microwave and fridge. The overall cleanliness is average. It's just 15 min walk away to the major Dept Stores and the metro, less than 20 min to a night market.
