Hotel completely renovated at the end of 2015. Enjoy a typical landaise meal at our restaurant on site. Big function room to hire for your special or professional events.

Reviewed By pnewlEach room has a different theme. Mine was Alice in Wonderland. Very fun after a long day on the road. Walk along the lake, dinner nearby. Perfect. Breakfast was fine--I don't think the eggs were real but there were other options. Free parking and internet. Fit our needs. Folks were friendly.

Brilliant site
Reviewed By stonecottage1We were unsure of this site after the mixed reviews on here. But we had a motorhome pitch, probably one of the easiest in terms of pitch size and facilities. We had water, electric and waste and it was perfect! The pool is fabulous, even when busy with places to lay your towel even if you can’t get a lounger. The lake is a short stroll and perfect for kayaking or paddle board. We also got a takeaway pizza one night and ate it on the lake which was fab. A couple of tips though, if you fancy the French tree top adventure park next to the site definitely go in the morning when it’s quiet. Also go early to the grande dune du pilat if you fancy a visit. It’s an amazing site but go early for parking and cooler sand to walk on! Back to campsite, toilets and showers are excellent and we didn’t que once. Yes site is sandy so you can get some sandy footprints in there but they are very clean. Only bad thing I could say was the bar didn’t open till 5.30pm and restaurant had massively reduced tables due to COVID restrictions so unless you book a day in advance you won’t get a table. Food was ok but depends what you order- pizza and burgers good. Fish overpriced for what you get. However this is a great site and I would definitely come again, my family loved it. Good balance of pool, lake and nearby beaches.

Reviewed By Mike_JWe had a lovely experience at Domaine de L'Escuderia - it's in a beautiful location and the host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. Room was clean and well decorated. Near several restaurants/sights if you have a car.

Reviewed By RedladyhamiltonWe weren't actually staying in the hotel but had our evening meal there. I usually avoid hotel restaurants but I'm so glad we didn't here. It was excellent. The staff were friendly and courteous, the mussels I had were outstanding - a huge bowl, separate bowl for the shells etc. Delicious. I was with 2 others, one also had the mussels and the other thoroughly enjoyed the duck. I would recommend this restaurant.

Reviewed By HTTcyclistThis is a good basic hotel/bar/restaurant run by a pleasant couple who were very helpful. We ate their set menu of provincial e chicken which was very good and he waitress spoke good English. An excellent stop off if you find yourself in the area for a night or two.
