To avoid!!!

Horrible experience. They just sold our room to someone else because they were overbooked. They did not contact us. They pretend the card number we gave as guarantee was wrong. Not truth!! When we arrived at 1h during the night, after a long day driving with two small children we were informed that there was no room at all for us. We made the réservation directly with them. We did not do it through any booking platform. Personal no profesional at all. Highly unkind and bad manners! Do not go to this hotel unless you want to spoil your holidays!!!

Hotel Bed4U Pamplona

Can you imagine a hotel where even the walls wish you sweet dreams? Stop imagining and read on… Bed4U Hotels Pamplona is located in Avenida de Zaragoza (the main entrance to the city). We are very easy to reach and you will have no trouble parking in our free external car park with 24-hour video cameras security. It is such an advantage to be so close to everything!!! The airport, the university area, the hospital area, the sports area, the El Sadar Football Stadium and the largest Shopping Mall in Navarre (La Morea). And if you want to see the city centre, then just hop on the bus that drives past the door of the hotel. The hotel is brand new and we would love to offer you the wide range of free services that we make available: Wi-Fi, iPads, Gym and sauna, external and segure car park, children’s play area… All the rooms have a unique, modern design which will not leave you indifferent and is sure to surprise. You will find everything you need for a well-earned rest: a soundproofed room with air-conditioning and heating, a flat-screen TV, a desk, a top-of-the-range mattress and a rainfall-effect shower. But I haven’t introduced myself. I am Laura, the Manager, and I suggest you start the day with a good dose of energy; so don’t miss our buffet breakfast with fresh, homemade products (potato omelette, freshly baked buns and pastries, peeled fresh fruit, natural orange juice pressed on the spot…). My colleagues Karmele, Fernando, Cristina and Oscar are waiting for you because we don’t want you to get bored and would like to make sure you see the prettiest parts of the city, have everything you need, make the most of a different kind of stay in a hotel and, above all, enjoy a good rest!! Oh, and if you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep , then we will be there waiting for you in our 24-hour cafeteria-bar.

I made a booking for the San Fermin festival through their website for 3 rooms (we are a group of friends going together). One main reason we chose this hotel is because they only required a credit card in case of no-show, and the reservation said payment would be collected at the time of check in (July 7). Well, weeks after the reservation, without warning, they charged my bank account nearly $2000 US and said that's their policy for the festival (but nothing was indicated on their website). In fact, this is what my confirmation email says: CREDIT CARD DETAILS Your credit card won't be charged this amount (payment is to be made directly at the hotel on the day of arrival), unless you have booked a non-refundable rate or if stated otherwise in your rate's terms and conditions. In the event of a no-show, you will be charged a certain amount depending on your selected rate's cancellation policy. They refused to honor the terms of the reservation and caused my account to go into insufficient funds. Luckily, we were able to cancel and book at a different hotel. Horrible bad impression to leave on a guest. I get that you're expecting a full house but you cant change the terms that were agreed upon just because you feel like it.

Great location, started well, service really did meet hotel standards

Reviewed By LoveVirginia

The stay started great. We parked right in front of the hotel, checked into a clean and spacious room. We toured all day and came back to the hotel to shower and rest up for the next day. That is when the service went down hill. There was a defective shower door and water went all over the floor since the seam does not seal correctly. We have tons of pictures to prove it. We called the front desk and received zero help from hotel reception at 10:30 PM. Lucky for the hotel my wife and daughter calmed down or this post would be a lot worse. We stayed in 7 different hotels on this trip and this was the only one where the service was a big issue. Since I booked this through Booking.com they are going to know about this experience as well. In summary: Daughter showered first after a long day of sightseeing and warned us that water leaks from the shower onto the floor. My wife showered next. When she came out of the shower there was water all over floor even though she tried to be careful. She dried herself inside the shower and then put my towel on the floor to dry it. There was so much water that she used the two remaining hand towels and the shower mat. She asked my daughter to please call the front desk to request additional towels. We are fluent in Spanish (two of the three are native speakers). My daughter was told by the gentleman they were not able to help us until morning when they had someone available in housekeeping. My wife called back again and it rang and rang, I guess he did not want to talk to our room. Finally when he answered my wife explained what happened. This is when a call for help turned into a terrible and frustrating experience. The receptionist said he couldn’t help. The towels are locked at night and are not accessible to them. She was told she would need to wait until the morning. He told my wife that instead of using the towels in the room she should have called someone earlier in the day to request more towels. She explained, it was a pool of water the floor and it was very slippery. We didn’t have a choice but to try to dry the floor with all the towels and we needed more to be able to finish showering. His response was, “Who throws a towel on the floor or uses one to dry the floor?” She was so upset by this comment and she explained this was an accident because of a defective shower and she used all of the towels. She asked him if it would be possible to have me go to reception and pick up towels if they could find find some. The response was no! He said someone could knock at my door at 7:00 AM to receive an extra two towels. What? The hotel supposed is all locked up until then. When I showered, I watched how the water was leaking out of the shower. The glass door and the glass are not sealed correctly. There is a gap. We are sure that was not the first person this happened too. I used the only remaining towel. I used the wet towels to dry the floor when I stepped out. The front desk person lacked customer service or any tack. They were rude and not resourceful or willing to help. We got more towels at 7am. When we checked out we told the front desk of the issue with the person at the front desk at 1030pm and they said it must have been a miscommunication. That was also aggravating since there was no miscommunication. It was bad service or male bias since two women called to get more towels since the shower was defective and the hotel seems to have no towels at night. You know how I feel about this service.

Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Great advice an Pamplona. Well-deserving of its reputation.

A delightful older hotel, everyone speaks English, great little restaurant & bar downstairs.

This is an older hotel located right downtown. Because of its age, rooms are smaller than average, but they have all been modernized and are very pleasant. Easy to control the heating and air conditioning. The hotel has a great restaurant and bar downstairs, with very friendly and professional English speaking staff. The front desk staff is also super friendly and helpful. No parking provided by the hotel, it might be difficult to find a place to put your car... ask about this when making a reservation. All in all, I'm happy I stayed there and I would gladly return.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst we did the long drive home from Malaga. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable, nice hot showers. Only negative comments are that it was very noisy in the morning which we didn’t mind as we was up early for our onward journey but might be a problem for someone who wanted a lay in! My bathroom had a very bad drain smell so we had to keep the door shut overnight, by the time the morning came it was awful. Shower gel dispenser was empty too .. saying all that I would stay again the next time we do the long drive
