Fitness Suite / that was fun
Reviewed By SQUALO85Quite interesting rooms and suites, some even got a theme, I got an upgrade to a Fitness Suite, which came quite handy, overall, liked the stay, but it was nothing spectacular, location wise good but not marvelous. Will definitely consider staying again, but would still prefer other brands as part of SPG / Marriott Group instead, better to go with the initial brandy and not just an associated partner hotel instead. Breakfast was quite good and the hotel itself more like a boutique with a trendy atmosphere.

Abrupt treatment of Diamond Accor member

I spoke to the hotel on the phone this morning and the person I spoke to was instantly abrupt and refused to refund the one night stay. At least in Australia (where I am from), companies have to allow a reasonable cooling off period for bookings (for example 24 hours) in case of error etc. Considering I am a Diamond Accor Plus member and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year with Accor, I am very surprised at the way I was treated. I have booked at an alternate Accor hotel for the exact same night so am paying double for the same night now. I am very disappointed by the rude manner in which I was spoken to on the phone and the unwillingness to help.

The hotel ibis budget Zurich Airport offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in no time. I was surprised with the soundproofed room at the hotel, that makes me not hear any airplanes taking off or landing. Very nice and calm. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. Breakfast is served from very early in the morning. The coffee is well brewed. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the fresh food corner and use the microwave there. Vending machines are there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the back office, Ms. Ana, and the Hotel manager. they are very friendly. The apartment was large, with dinning area and kitchen and large floor to ceiling glass windows both in living room and bedroom which were charming. They allowed us to leave luggage for addition few hours after the checkout and also allowed us a late checkout. We stayed 4 nights as a family.

Reviewed By SwissFamilyB2022We had to change rooms, the first one was despressingly shabby, paint flaking off the wall etc., We had a double plus sofa bed. The sofa bed was visibly broken and impossible to have slept in. The reception staff were very helpful and understanding and gave us 2 new rooms for us and kids at the same price as the one. Room surfaces had not been cleaned, cups not replaced etc., Well done to the reception staff for their patience and good manners. Housekeeping staff - clearly there is a big issue with staff motivation and leadership. Last visit to this hotel for us…

While Swiss gave us a voucher for a drink etc., and the hotel brochure said (1) the bar was open until midnight (2) Room service was available 24h, the bar was closed and the receptionist initially said it would take 1h to get a delivery, then that he would bring the menu (which he did not do) and then when I called back, he said I had to call back in 30 minutes because he did not have time. Quite a lousy service for a hotel with 4 stars. Hope never to end up here again.

No air-conditioning
Reviewed By cand013Just a heads up for those staying in the summer, there is NO air conditioning at this hotel. I was kicking myself thinking I must have forgotten to check before booking, but no, it clearly advertises this online. They assured us the room would be cool with the black-out blinds, but it was not. As a side note, I somehow managed to overlook this in the photos online, but the bathroom is a sliding glass door from the rest of the room. No noise barrier, very little privacy. Otherwise, the room did look very clean and the staff were nice. It is a short taxi from the airport.

Great place to stay
Reviewed By NorthStar286705I was only supposed to be staying for one week as it was a business trip & the accommodation wasn't in the region I was working in but I liked it so much I stayed for 4 months! It has everything you need apart from an oven. Modern ground floor apartment, nice bathroom, small kitchen & a lovely terrace onto a courtyard garden. Underground parking, a gym, laundry facilities via an app & two supermarkets very close by. The rooms are cleaned once a week but the staff are so helpful I'm sure you could get extra towels etc if needed. Great staff that are friendly & helpful especially Don, Penny & Olivia. I would definitely stay again & would highly recommend for either a short or long stay.
