If you have decided to spend your holidays in Dalmatia,Trogir is surely the best choice.Only 25 km far from Split,the Dalmatia capital,and 3 km from the airport,Trogir is situated at the crossroads of all roads.
Good place for a short stay
Reviewed By 557ivarssWe stayed in this place offseason with a group for 3 nights. The hotel is clean, well maintained. Some of the amenities are a bit worn out, especially the bathroom. The shower did not have a place to put the shampoo and was leaking. Two more points for critique - the sound isolation is almost non-existing and so was wifi, especially in the rooms. Wifi should be improved heavily. Breakfast was good, with vegetables, various cheese and meat selections, muffins and some other sweets. The drawback with a big group - if you come late, especially the sweet stuff might be gone already. Otherwise - the location is good, there is a road down to the beach for swimming and the promenade is far away. Not sure about prices thou.

Just Lovely
Reviewed By 1travelfan1What a beautiful little place. Our room was perfect, lovely and clean and modern, it felt very newly done. Plenty of wardrobe space, very nice shower and a little mini bar which came in useful. There was a tv with plenty of channels but it was mostly german. We had the most amazing sea view, so lovely to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was great, we ordered freshly cooked omelettes each day. We ate once in the restaurant and it was very nice. Very good value for money in my opinion. The staff were very pleasant and always said hello, the cleaning lady and barbara in particular were lovely and barbara very helpful. The location was absolutely perfect for our 4 night stay, about 20 mins in a taxi from split airport (we paid 180kn for the taxi) . We loved having the beach directly on our doorstep and what a beautiful beach it is. The water is crystal clear and just a delight to swim in. It's good for the soul. ? A tip is to pack your rock shoes as the beach is very rocky and tricky to walk in bare feet. They are for sale in local shops though not sure on cost. I did see people snorkelling off the beach and wished I'd packed my snorkel, ill know for next time! I would recommend getting the water taxi in to trogir, its like a little mini boat excursion in itself. We caught it just in time for the sunset. We had dinner and a wander around the old town, what a stunning place. The water taxis run every 15/30 mins depending on time of year and are 20kn each way per person, cheap as chips and they run until 11.30pm, later in peak season. We found both okruk and trogir areas to be very clean and felt very new even though some buildings are very old! The one thing that lets croatia down in general is the smoking. Literally everywhere we went, be it on the beach or in a nice restaurant there are people smoking everywhere all around you. Restaurants should really have smoking and non-smoking areas as it's really unpleasant when trying to enjoy a meal and tables on either side are smoking (this was in trogir, not villa okruk). The only suggestions i would make to villa okruk are to add a couple of english channels on tv and to offer a shower room for after check out as we had a late night flight and had nowhere to shower after a day at the beach. Nonetheless, i would absolutely stay there again and in fact are planning our next trip already. Look forward to returning!

Reviewed By Lrobin18I haven't actually visited Villa Kruna Grada yet, but the service I have received so far has been excellent so wanted to write an early review! We were due to stay for 11 nights in August but due to changes to UK government guidelines on quarantine, we were unable to go on our holiday (these changes came only 2 days before we were due to set off!). I booked via booking.com so contacted the owner through this - they responded very promptly and the owner let us cancel free of charge (at this point we should have paid for the full cost of the room!). We rebooked for next year direct via the owner and they even upgraded our room at no extra cost! The whole process was hassle free, and at such short notice. We are very excited for our stay and will be writing an updated review next year, which I am sure will be just as good as my impressions so far. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for peace of mind during this difficult time.

Reviewed By Pernilla DLitet familjärt lägenhetshotell en bit från restauranger. Väldigt trevligt bemötande av den gulliga familj som äger och sköter lägenheterna. De såg till att vi fick skjuts för att åka till en affär och fylla på skafferi och kyl den dag vi kom. Vi var två familjer som bodde i varsina lägenheter och hade tillgång till den gemensamma lilla poolen. Utsikt mot havet från båda våra balkonger. Lugnt och stillsamt läge. Väldigt branta backar upp till hotellet. Närhet till en liten strand men vi låg hellre på en av bryggorna som är tillgängliga för alla. Rekommenderas varmt!

Can’t fault the Levarda family, from taking us to get a week of shopping to advising us on the best trips and places to see, they were extremely helpful. One of the high lights was hiring a speedboat to visit surrounding snorkelling hot spots for the day. (Also recommend visiting the Krka national park for the waterfalls....amazing!!!) Would also recommend a boat trip to Trogir. The villa has everything you need, spacious, if you want to relax inside, good air conditioning, plenty of out door space, lovely pool and hot tub and sky sports for the boys! We were 2 families 4 children of ages ranging from 13 to 5 and all had an amazing time! All in all would come back tomorrow!

One week in Apartments Ciovo
Reviewed By Alex4821Our first impression was that apartment seems to be clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was fully equipped kitchen with stove, kettle and oven. There also was shower, flat tv, fridge and teracce with chairs, table and see view. There is car park in front of the building. The closest beach was about 500 meters from apartment. This beach was nice with clean water, bars and restaurants. Trogir center was a bit far but we still managed to get there and if you don't mind walking you have no problem. Our hosts were willing, kind and promptly solved our requests. We were satisfied with this accomodation and I can only recommend it.

Malgré un petit problème d’eau à l’appartement, on trouve des solutions qui nous créaient de supers souvenirs. Après tout, n’est ce pas les petites galères qui créaient les meilleurs souvenirs ? Petit déjeuné inclu et très bon. Restaurant avec choix, plage à 300m - possibilité de faire du quad, du jet ski et tout autre sorte d’activité dans les environs proches. Recommandé à 100%.

Great location
Reviewed By caroline BClean and modern apartment on the beachfront would recommend a full sea view one if you can afford it or our partial side view was still gorgeous . Taxi boat to Trogir just outside the apartment along with boat and other water sport activities . Two bars 5 mins walk away but the better restaurants and places to drink are 10-15 min walk down the beach. Really good base to visit the other islands and not too far from Split and only 20mins drive to the airport . Check sleeping arrangements for kids as mine had to share a double bed ok this summer but not when a bit older .Overall a lovely place and the owners were very helpful .
