Reviewed By nnngggaaaI enjoyed my stay there. The receptionist was friendly and saw that we had kids. Hence, they provided us with overwhelming information for us to keep our kids entertained during our stay. Going the extra mile, they also gave us rooms on the same floor beside each other which I appreciated. The facilities were terrific, and there are countless things to do, such as Karaoke, chess room and gaming area. Even though some are currently unavailable, but that is inevitable. These are some relatively uncommon facilities, at least for me. It is a great place to unwind and be away from all worries temporarily. I would return when the opportunity arises.

Reviewed By BrewskiTravelerWe had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and nicely furnished. It is located right on lake front. The check in was fast and the staff super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the staff helped us unload our bags from the car and ushered us in while another person parked our car for us. Car park is complimentary and just a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. Then we were shown to our room and the bags brought up shortly. The staff were great in suggesting things to see and do. You can buy discounted tickets for the Ropeway and ferry at the hotel. The view of the lake from the balcony was awesome. The breakfast was also plentiful and tasty. The area Ita Thao has a lively food scene in the evening. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back.

Le Midi Hotel ,which has European-style building, is surrounded by primitive precious forests and bamboos. Because of this, there are number of negative irons and phytoncide that are great for our health. In addition, we have complete meeting areas and leisure facilities.

There is not a whole lot of hotel up there . . . so while not everything is great but it is probably the best choice up there . . Very good breakfast . . . but mattress not great and the room is a bit old . . .

Buffet breakfast was abundant that would satisfy most of the Chinese customers; but very basic for those who like western breakfast. It is within the old section of the town, which is more convenient for those who may want to explore night market or other varieties of eateries in town.

Don’t bother
Reviewed By Kosciusko_11Booked the ‘Lake view’ ‘King suite’ for a couple of nights hoping for a nice escape. Here is my disappointment: the suite is not a corner suite as shown on hotels.com. In fact the only discernible difference to the “standard double room” is the bed size - don’t book the suite! The sofa is old, stained and uncomfortable. The lake view could more accurately be described in advertising as a partial lake view. I asked to leave one day early but was told this was not possible due to the hotels.com policy. Understandable but very disappointing. Also won’t use hotels.com again.

Quiet and nice place for instagram. Good to travel up with a hired driver. You may lose your way if you check in at night. Have a good local guide with you.

Reviewed By jamesng_sfHu Yue is conveniently located at the Yidashao ferry terminal at Sun Moon Lake. Staff is friendly and helpful The Lake view room is spectacular. Room is very well maintained with all the needed necessity. Since it's right at the Yidashao market, all the restaurants or Taiwanese snack place are in walking distance. The included breakfast was outstanding as well, offering wide range of variety. Hu Yue is great for both family with kids, or couples who is looking for a romantic getaway.

Reviewed By kevinwckThis place is known for its uniqueness and specialness. Even though it is a small village, it has variety of booths in it. Especially, the air is so fresh and chill. I highly recommended this one if you wanna stay far away from bustling city, it will be a good option. By the way staff members are so friendly and hospitable. 這是一個很特別很獨特的地方。雖然它只是一個小村莊，但它裡面有很多不同的小店鋪。這裡的空氣特別新鮮和涼爽。我非常推薦這個地方，如果你想要遠離一下熱鬧吵雜的城市，這會是一個很棒的選擇，還有這裡的客服人員特別的親切和熱情。
