Reviewed By karenpW3277YIBooked a 3 night stay for a few days of chill in what we thought was an adult hotel. On day 2 the place was besieged by a coach loads of teenagers Causing hirendous noise and completely ruining our dinner, which we had obviously paid extra for. Other couples also walked out. We were told by hotel staff that it was ‘ beyond their control’. AVOID this hotel if you want a peaceful’ adult’ getaway.

Reviewed By 511mariaceliafThe neighborhood is awful and really isolated. They do not respect the type of bedroom selection at all. Check in on line does not avoid another check in at arrival. It is not so clean either. Although personnal is ok, I do not recommend it at all.

Restaurants were great with Amapola the main hotel restaurant excellent with more choice than pre pandemic. Two other restaurants, Italian and Asian have been incorporated in the hotel which is a lot more convenient. Tennis club has been completely revamped with a brand new gym and padel courts

Reviewed By ConniePerezNot a 4 star hotel. Rooms are okay, but simple. Breakfast is every day the same. They advertise with parkingspace, Netflix etc. etc., but when you hear the prices! Staff is friendly. The music in the lobby is boring. Fourniture in the lobby is simple and looks like you are in a waitingroom of a hospital.

Lovely location but the restaurant was awful

The restaurant was probably the worst hotel restaurant we have ever been to. Food quality very poor, very limited choice and it was like a cattle market. The restaurant could not cope with the volume of people.....there were queues to get in, queues to find a clean table, tables were not being cleared promptly and the noise level was enough to give you a headache. The food looked very processed...a lot of what looked like preformed meat, and very little actually fresh or hand prepared food. Salads were ok and they were fresh. Wine and water was included so that was a plus. There appeared to be a lot of coaches coming and going full of Spanish people. We wondered if the hotel was booked with the Spanish pensionista (???) holidays which might explain the restaurant standard and the sheer volume of people.......but we paid full price so should not have had an inferior service. Very disappointed and definitely not a four star hotel restaurant....we have been in better two star hotel restaurants.

Picturesque four stars hotel located in the best area, with breathtaking views of the two seas, less than 100 meters. Totally renovated in 2018, consists of 157 rooms (126 double rooms, 23 double rooms and a living room, 8 with 2 double rooms and a living room) with safe box, heat and cold air conditioning, complete bath with hairdryer, refrigerator, individual terrace, International TV channels, telephone, free wifi, buffet, optional garage, restaurant, meeting rooms, sauna, fitness center and jacuzzi. Likewise the hotel has access for handicapped people. The ideal environment of Mar Menor is an excellent place to practice sports as kite surfing, wind surfing, scuba diving, etc. As well as activities outdoors such as hiking, cycling, walking virgin beaches, etc. Leisure activities, bars, restaurants and shops. Also culture, since only 25 minutes away is the city of Cartagena which has important museums to introduce in its millenary history.

Reviewed By RosehillfinLovely hotel and good location. We were booked in for bed & breakfast but used the restaurant several times for lunch and dinner. All meals are buffet but are excellent value. There was no gluten free bread or cereals on offer that we could see so check in advance if you are coeliac. There was entertainment every night when we were there but the bar is very small with a limited range of drinks. Staff were very nice. Room was lovely and extremely clean.

Reviewed By Tina MThe Villas are very well situated & are celtral to the La Manga area. It is situated at 3K along the Mar Manor. Villas are spotlessly clean & very well maintained. Clean towels daily & bed linen changed so often during our stay. Very clean swimming pool & well kept gardens. Staff are so friendly & helpful. Key security throughout. Gate at the bank of the pool takes you right onto the Mar Manor Beach. Big shout out to La Manga Surf Beach Bar. Loved spending my evening at La Manga Surf Beach Bar until the sun went down. Some fantastic sunsets. Weather was fab. Very cheap accommodation. Loved my stay in the Villas.

Tired but ok for a 3star
Reviewed By TalldavemA bit tired, a bit scruffy but has all you need. The room was large and clean but very worn and dated, fantastic views and a nice sized pair of beds. In all you get what you pay for and this is great value for money. I would return if it was a little closer to ‘the action’.

Multi-purpose space for accomodation, retreats, sports options and many more kind of events. We are 12 minutes from Cartagena by car, 20 minutes to seaport and 23 minutes to international airport. The nearest beach is only 6km far from here, and you can find many options if you like walking, running, cycling... Our location is ideal for people who like staying near to the city but at the same time enough far to be able to enjoy with nature. If you like breathing clean air, feeling the silence and you value the show of an open sky plenty of stars at night, this place is ideal for you. We offer free WiFi and always open beautiful swimming pool.
Peace and tranquility
Reviewed By Lorraine GWe also arrived with few expectations and the truth is that we found this place too remote. I'm sure the owners are charming - they contacted us with directions to make it easy to find the place, things looked clean and the place is surrounded by nature and calm but there's no where to walk to in the evening for a bite to eat and drink. We weren't very comfortable with the distance to the city so rebooked at a central hotel instead.
