Super relaxing stay in a beautiful house with fabulous gardens and pool
Reviewed By 761mandya5 night stay with husband could not have been more chilled . All staff were very helpful and welcoming and we had a couple of meals cooked by the French chef which were tasty and very reasonably priced and enjoyed breakfast on the front terrace. As there are only a handful of rooms at times we really felt we had the house to ourselves and we were the only guests using the pool during our stay which was clean and had comfortable loungers. We enjoyed sitting in the terrace during the evening and wandering through the huge glorious gardens. We stayed in the Havana suite with its panoramic sea and garden views from all of its 4 huge windows, woken by birdsong each morning. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By David MNice hotel for a very good price. Restaurant is huge & very popular with the Spanish locals. The Menu del Dia is 10 euros for a 3 course with salad & a drink. Only goes up to 12 euros in the summer. Nice position only 100 yards from the beach.

Most important were the adjustments made for people with a disability, wheelchair friendly with access to all parts of the resort including the room a large bathroom with toilet with armrests. Special thanks to the lady of guest relation, Maribel. Most adorable and helpful in any way! Food is good, with variety. Maybe onely minus is just the one poolbar, can get busy and you have to wait in line for a drink. All inclusive concept is good! Not much to do around if you dont have car. Overall a lovely place to stay, most friendly staff!

Very dirty kettle.
Reviewed By 133jos_rRoom was clean and nice when I arrived. A/C keep the room fresh but it does not keep it cold. I stayed in May and it was already hot outside. The kettle in the room was very dirty. I think it was not been cleaned for weeks. After complaining in the reception I got a clean one. The receptionists were helpful and polite.

Reviewed By bestymanThe wife and I spent two nights here. We enjoyed our stay in this well run hotel. It ticks a lot of boxes. Clean 43 euros a night Parking - don't worry about traffic, it was easy to find and park. Fridge Air Con Safe in room (no charge) Great location near the centre. Friendly staff Good WIFI Our room was quite old fashioned, but everything worked and was very clean. The hotel was quiet in general, we were unlucky to have a room next to the lift with some noise, but I would imagine that all other rooms are very quiet. It wasn't a big problem just a minor concern. Plenty of bars nearby and a supermarket a few minutes walk away. Not many tourists at all in Motril so some basic Spanish may be useful. Most staff speak little English but still friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

Great little family run hotel, convenient for port or beach
Reviewed By angie_filmSpotlessly clean small hotel. Nice comfy room. Bit noisy in the morning with trucks going ti the ferries. Interesting area that is great for walks and somr great tapas bars. Don't miss the "Meat on Hot Rocks" place just around the corner.

Next door guest making nosies moving furniture in the night ? Don’t know. The TV is a SMALL computer screen you have hardly read what is written on the screen ! No Coffee maker / NO Water given / No iron/ No hair dryer / the water barley comes after each flush of the Toilet ( wait at least 15 25 min fill tank) It is NOT in CITY center!!! The only one good thing going for this hotel is a Hospital next door.

Both self contained; 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom balcony and roof terrace. Each sleeping, 1-3 adults. No children under 16 years to preserve the sense of peace and freedom. Sharing jungle-style small botanical gardens and swimming pool.
Outstanding place to enjoy life and nature
Reviewed By luisullanWe spent 3 nights in Casita Pequeña and it was absolutely wonderful. Patrick, the owner, is a really charming man and he was super attentive to us and our dog. It is an amazing place to spend a few days and relax from your daily routines. It is 10 minutes away from the center of Motril (by car). Surrounded by lots of supermarkets and restaurants, but also a little separated from the city, it was the perfect place for us to go. We could not be happier with our stay and with the whole place. And yes, we will come back for sure! :)

Hostal next to the port
Reviewed By Alexandra OI stayed in hostal Puerto Beach (actually as far as I understood it had other name before "Hostal Iris") so don't be surprised -you will find different names in the hostal "menu" and visit cards,etc because I work on the ship and the company found for the crew cheap place next to the port to stay while coming to Motril to rest as there are no cabins available onboard. Anyway the hostal is relatively easy to find - you just go out from the port and cross the road. It has cheap prices starting from 22 and up to 65 EURO depending on the season and type of room, it's clean inside, but some things especially door key lockers need reparation , bathrooms in some rooms still not in the best condition, etc. But as we all know it's the people who make a difference. The owners are very helpful, nice, polite, friendly and concerned about the problems and questions you might have. As well the food is just great, everything I tasted was fresh and delicious. So recommended for all people looking for a cheap hostal next to the port waiting for ship to come or those who want to go to the beach ( beach is very near as well) to get to the city centre takes 20 minutes and there is a bus stop nearby.
