Reviewed By piggywigoinkWe decided to stay at Marine Piazza Okinawa thanks to the reviews shared in TripAdvisor. We felt warmly welcomed when we checked in the hotel even though the staff were struggling abit with conversing in English. They were very friendly still and did their best to answer our queries. This is the most spacious hotel room which we had stayed in during our trip. The twin beds felt comfortable and spacious (PS: we are on the petite side). There is a big balcony facing the sea and we could hang out wet laundry to dry on a drying line provided. There were clothes pegs provided which we found inside the wardrobe. There were at least 2 sets of futon which our children slept on. There was a spacious platform next to the wardrobe for setting the futon beds. The breakfast buffet even had a children buffet table; at the children’s height =) with ingredients and sandwich makers for the children and parents to DIY their sandwiches. There are also finger food for the children. The normal buffet spread is mainly Japanese cuisine which we absolutely loved. There is a large green field outside the reception level which had swings made from logs; see-saws; hula loops and more which our children enjoyed a lot. There was a building next to them which has dolphin programs (at your own cost) eg swimming with the dolphins. We were thankful we had the best sleep at this hotel. Definitely a hotel we can return to again and with longer stays.

The magnificent Emerald Beach, selected as one of the 100 best beaches in Japan,is right at our doorstep. Nearby are the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, where visitors can fully enjoy the appeal of Okinawa, and the Bise fukugi tree-lined path to the beach, which is reminiscent of traditional Okinawan scenery.

Reviewed By Exploring_this_worldHotel Orion Motobu Resort was an oasis. The site feels brand new, with big, comfortable, clean, and eco-friendly rooms. Positives: beautiful view of the sea from balcony, free parking, tasty breakfast included, the Okinawan restaurant was outstanding for trying local foods, attentive staff, the property sits right on the Expo park. Negatives: no gym, no room service, the spa was closed at the time due to the COVID state of emergency which was understandable. Also, nearby Bise tree grove is fun to explore, but, I think due to it being summer, there were large spiders everywhere in the trees!

Reviewed By piggywigoinkWe had driven from the airport to the hotel as we sightsee on route to the hotel. Parking was free whereby the open air carpark is a short walk less than 5 minutes away. We booked our room from booking.com and check in was a breeze. The non-smoking room we booked was located on level two along a stretch of open air corridor quite unlike the typical hotel with air-conditioned corridors. The room we had was very spacious for our family of four. Upon entering, there was a ‘gengkan’ right before we step up into the room. There is a door on the right which opens up to be the kitchenette and also the bathroom. We didn’t use the kitchenette though. There is a tatami area which we could lay futon to sleep in. The twin beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so could not feedback about it. The outdoor swimming pool at the hotel closes at 6pm whereas the indoor swimming pool closes at 9pm. There was no charge to it. There’s a Starbucks nearby the area too.

We were also able to watch the world-famous sunset from the comfort of our room, and on Saturday night we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display, which was the biggest surprise of our lives. And, as befits a new hotel, everything was beautiful and functional, from the building, to the facilities, to the water features. The breakfast restaurant was a delight every morning, with a very varied and tasty menu, many of which were unique to your hotel. Last but not least, we would like to thank your hotel staff for their thoughtful and wonderful decoration for our anniversary. It was a very nice anniversary. Thank you very much. The food was so tiny in portion and was not worth the money I paid for my 3 kids and I and my husband. They didn’t even have someone at the omelet station and we didn’t feel welcome.

Reviewed By Ani SThis property far surpassed our expectations. Having a self contained apartment made life so easy for our family of 4. The complex is right on the beach which provides an amazing outlook from each apartment. The beach has surprisingly good snorkeling and the coral and fish would keep us occupied all day. To get the most out of the area you really need a car. We would come back in a heartbeat. The staff were lovely and helped to make our stay as easy as possible. Loved every moment.

Reviewed By Venture04013618786We stayed at Churaumi Village for two nights. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained the whole time. The house was clean and well equipped. It was great to get some laundry done. The beds were not very comfortable and we didn't sleep well both nights.

Reviewed By mpenzakcI stayed 2 nights in Wisteria Condominium Resort. It's a short 5-7 minutes walk to the Ocean Expo Park. Check-in was fast and efficient. While breakfast isn't included, you can pay 800 yen per person for a delicious and healthy bento+dessert_soup to be picked up from the office in the morning after 8am. There are lots of parking spaces in the condo area and it's pretty quiet at night to enjoy good night's sleep. The most awesome part of the stay is the view! When weather permits, you'll get to see magnificent sunset in the sea with Tropical Dream Center in the foreground!

Reviewed By hanfrenzyBeside the main road, easy to find if you look up images of the hotel prior, with help of your gps when driving. LAWSON opposite and if you wish, 1.5km away theres a large AEON supermarket easily reached by car. Ample parking below the hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Responsive to messages via expedia as I was running late and last check in was 7pm. Took the elevator to the 3rd floor and got in. Spacious room with clean beds with a tatami area with a coffee table there. Fridge, tv, bathtub and electric kettle for making your own drinks. Good view of the harbour area in front of the hotel. Wifi had no issues. Highly recommended! Great price too!
