Breakfast was terrible!

Reviewed By Scott O

If you're coming here because you think you'd enjoy the free breakfast you're making a mistake. It was the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. I'm a war vet so I'm not the pickiest person but this was just terrible. For this reason alone, I can't see myself staying at a Drury again.

Very good price for a hotel in Branson.

We stayed 3 days as we explored Branson. The room was clean, no bugs, no strange smells and the water was hot. Breakfast was the standard affair of sausage and biscuits, scrambled eggs, potatoes and some bagels/bread for toasting. As other reviews have stated there was no microwave in the room so we had to leave the cup of ramen in the car. I think if you wanted you could sneak down to the breakfast area and run their microwave. Breakfast I think is served from 0700 to 1000. At night they do some kind of cobbler, cookies and ice cream from 2100 -2300 at night. Its a nice touch but won't help your waistline ;). They had to improvise on our last night as the soft serve ice cream machine was not running so we were trying to scoop ice cream out of a tub with mixed results. The hotel is a good value and book early if you want a room. And you pretty much have to drive as like Kentucky I don't think people walk in Missouri either and it could have been a life changing moment trying to walk :)

Great 'free' breakfast and early evening eats/drinks.

Reviewed By PeterHillsLewes

Stayed here two nights as part of a tour from UK. Old building but rooms fairly modern and of a decent size. Comfortable bed and walk in shower. Also coffee maker. Wi-fi was poor though and connection not consistent. Location adjacent to Union Station but a lot of construction and roadworks in area, although I didn't experience any noise from this. Winner for me was the 'free' breakfast (choice of hot and cold dishes with cereals and pastries) and also the 'Kick -Back' in early evening which offered a choice of hot dishes sufficient to not have to seek out restaurants. Three drinks per evening also included - beer and wine as part of this. Although billed as'free' the price per night obviously makes an allowance for this. But convenient to have this included in price without having to search for places to eat. Nothing in life is 'free'!!

August greeted us upon arrival and she was one of the best most customer service focused employee I’ve encountered! A+++ august! We went up to our room, and it was clean clean clean! The top deck was amazing, the perfect oasis away from home to enjoy a few drinks and dip your feet in the water or sunbathe. The valet was accommodating and fast. The food downstairs was delectable! Overall we can’t say enough great things, we have found our place to stay in STL for many future stays!

This is the first time that we tried Drury Hotel and turned out to be a successful and happy experience. We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Excellent overall. The appearance, the room comfortableness, the shower, the food including breakfast and dinner (it was a big surprise when people told me that dinner is included). Moving forward, I think I'll be looking for brand "Drury".

Great place to stay with awesome perks!

Although the outside of the building isn't extravagant, the inside is nice. Great security measures! I made the reservation, but my husband went inside to check-in. Although, he had our confirmation page, he had to video me while he was at the front desk. The employee asked to see my identification and grant my husband permission to check in. The hotel has nice amenities (i.e., pool and fitness area). They also had nice breakfast and dinner options. Bonus...they offer free drinks at night! We will definitely return on your next trip to St. Louis!

This is our favorite hotel in Branson. The rooms are always neat and clean, the beds are by far the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel, they have a full hot breakfast in the mornings, and Grace is such a sweet lady. She must have a photographic memory because she remembered us from our very first stay. She is always very friendly. They're not five star, but what they lack in amenities they definitely make up for in hospitality. I'll gladly stay here over Hilton any day.
