Nice Place with Friendly Staff
Reviewed By Jessica GI stayed at this Staybridge Suites in Midvale recently and couldn't have been happier about the stay. The gentlemen at the front desk who both checked me in and out were so nice and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, and even though we stayed over a holiday and so didn't get to enjoy the full breakfast spread in the morning, it looks like they do provide a full breakfast to guests. I was especially pleased that I didn't have to jump through any hoops to stay with my dogs at this hotel. I also had to change my reservation to leave one night early and that process went smoothly too, with no charge for the night we had to cancel. I would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed By CmwahlThis was the dirtiest La Quinta we have stayed at. The room we reserved online was not available. The hotel called us at 720pm as we were on the way in to Salt Lake City. We arrived at 8pm. Their solution as a king bed room initially, but we had 3 people. Then we were offered a room with two doubles for a discounted rate. Since I had a broken rib, sleeping in a smaller double with my husband wasn’t doable. So we had to rent two double bedrooms for the three of us. The coffeemakers in neither room worked as they were missing parts. Breakfast was not a hot breakfast as advertised. The hotel was very worn and lots of damage in halls and stairways. Very dirty overall. Very sketchy individuals hanging around and scoping out the cars by the hotel. Drug deals going on in the parking lot. The front desk offered to cancel but what were we to do at 8pm after driving 10 hours? Unacceptable treatment by La Quinta. We will reconsider staying at La Quintas in the future.

Mixed bag
Reviewed By bobhI6901CII gave this 3 stars because it is a mixed bag. The hotel is very convenient to town. You can walk to restaurants, Sugarhouse park, nice area for dogs. The people working here are nice and helpful. The rooms need remodeling but can be tolerated because of the location. My biggest beef is two fold. $25 dollars per pet. That is stiff. We have two dogs so $50 extra per night. Ouch. The other is Chick-Fil-A shares the same entrance. Getting in and out is so dangerous. The car line during lunch and dinner hours can back down the busy street. Chick -fil-A customs take up the hotel parking slots because of the congestion. There is talk adding a separate hotel entrance but still will not address the dangers leaving and entering the parking lot. In addition it will not address the Chick-fil-A customers from hoarding the hotel parking spaces. So be aware of the dangers staying here.

Great hotel and location

The rooms are comfortable and have all the standard items and smart TVs with all the streaming apps. Gym has decent variety of equipment. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so I cannot speak to its quality. The location is great, a ways from downtown SLC and has a trax station nearby to go to DT if you don’t feel like driving. It is directly across the street from Top Golf, which is why I have stayed here specifically. There are a variety of restaurants just down the street. The only downside on this trip was an out of order hot tub, but nothing major. Definitely good with staying here again.

Broken hotel
Reviewed By mikaylav1Stayed here over night. If you want combined rooms they don't have them, If you want breakfast they don't have that, if you want to swim at their pool they do not have it up and running. Pretty much all the amenities they say they have they don't. Oh and they don't have an elevator, so you got to walk up and down if your on the 2nd floor. Not worth the money, go stay somewhere else.
