Big Disappointment
Reviewed By 211hankhStopped here with my wife and daughter for the night while on a long road trip. Was surprised and disappointed to discover the following things wrong. Our experience will prompt us to think twice before deciding to pay a little more for a night at Holiday Inn: 1. The AC needs repair or replacement. Set the thermostat to 68 at bedtime and crawled under the heavy comforter, only to wake in a sweat two hours later. The AC blew cool for a short while but then automatically shut off as if it reached 68, but it was clearly much hotter than that in the room. Only after stripping the bed and sleeping on top of the sheets were we able to get back to sleep. 2. Bathroom sink leaked all around the base of the faucet, keeping much of the sink top wet. 3. Ceiling was badly stained, clearly the result of a roof leak. 4. On the carpet directly adjacent to the bed was a large vomit stain. Although there was thankfully no smell, nobody wanted to get near it and entered the bed from the other side.

Roadside crappy motel
Reviewed By ouradventures2022Water pressure was non existent, bed pillows were dirty, bugs on the floor, lots of people hanging around outside, one washer and dryer so couldn’t use as a family was in there for hours. Breakfast was stale cereal, plain mini bagels and watered down juice. This is not a best western this is a roadside motel

Reviewed By sarac644This hotel is very basic, but it’s clean, convenient, and the staff is very friendly. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and Mr. Howard always remembers us! The hotel is older and shows signs of age, but it’s always clean and quiet, and I feel safe staying here.

Reviewed By Vicki SRoom was very smelly. It was a smoking room but very strong smelling. Has had recent updates. The toilet was rocky. We have stayed there in the past and will stay again. There was no breakfast set up at 6 when we check out. The coffee wasn't even made.

Reviewed By 86MissyJWe had an excellent stay here. Check in and check out went smooth, our room was nice and comfortable and the hotel is close to interstate 75. Would recommend staying here if in the area- not far from Knoxville area attractions.

Reviewed By Amyswrld1We stayed here 1 night on our road trip. Check in was simple while the girl with earbuds in kept belting out her tunes. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Large amount of dust. Shower had small amount of mold. Towels are unraveling. Bed was fine. Sheets were clean. Bed spread was stained. Would probably look elsewhere next time.

My husband and I are Diamond members and have requested a ground floor room each time (with the reservation desk and in person) and each time when get there, there is some kind of excuse even though we made the reservations in advance. They do not acknowledge the fact that we requested ground floor way in advance due to our age. This is going on the 5th week they have done us this way. I will not be going back.

Reviewed By ELKWThe front desk is nice and the room looks clean, but they didn't provide a quilt to customers, they just provide cover sheet, treat the cover sheet as a quilt?? luckily we went there is in summer time, I don't know if they will provide a real quilt to customers in non-summer time? but even in summer time, for a standard normal motel/hotel, there should be quilt for people, not just a thin cover sheet. We book a room of 4, but there are only 2 sets of towels, and some of them are very dirty, it looks like the towel has just been used to wipe a dirty floor, how can this such dirty towers being placed in a room for customers to use? the front desk lady said they have a new service maid, but I don't think they should just put the blame on the new service maid (which may be an excuse), you as a owner should inspect it. Anyway, she is willing to change another clean (looks clean) one to me. The bath tub didn't have a hand rail, which is a safety issue although they have mat against slippery. For the shower, only half of the water run out from the shower head, not enough water. They have an outdoor pool, it looks clean but we didn't try it out.

Reviewed By travelwriter52This is a working man's hotel. Looks like it was done in the 70's and never updated since. Bed was not comfortable to me but mostly because it was firm. Best part was it was quiet. They gave me a room that was in a separate building. Staff was friendly.
