Our celebration will be remembered with the most wonderful feelings because of this very special place. Thank you to all the previous visitors who left glowing and accurate reviews. We did our homework and this place did not disappoint. Our room and bathroom were updated with a contemporary feeling that we really appreciate and everything was exceptionally clean. The outdoor space connected to our room was glorious and the view of the lake spectacular. Breakfast was included, and it was absolutely wonderful. The homemade muffins, blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon, and French toast were so good! Even the coffee was perfect! We also enjoyed the wine and cheese hour before heading out to dinner. Being able to sit and enjoy the amazing view of the lake during this time is a memory we will cherish. We are avid kayakers and brought our own kayaks with us. Spending the day on the water next to the inn was so much fun! Not to worry….if you don’t own kayaks, they are available at the inn….and paddle boards as well. Thank you Cody for your kindness, professionalism and dedication to making this special place one we will visit again and recommend to all.

They do charge for an early check in- which was a little off putting. But it is a great space. Breakfast served. You can bring dogs first floor.

Reviewed By lauraetestaMy husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay at the Devonfield Inn. Scenic views and a quaint setting greeted us when we arrived. The lawns are expansive and the English gardens are beautifully maintained. We loved the charm of the inn itself; dutch style doors, the original chestnut floors, and the incorporation of antique furniture throughout. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was a lovely, clean room with a comfortable bed (which can never go unappreciated) and our own mini porch with bistro seating. Breakfast was delicious each morning; Jim’s brown sugar apple bread was of special delight, as was his homemade guacamole that accompanied a tantalizing breakfast burrito. But as delighted as we were by the delicious food served and as charmed as were by the inn itself, perhaps what makes the Devonfield Inn a most precious gem are the innkeepers themselves. Doug and Jim are wonderfully kind, warm, and gracious hosts. They treat everyone as if they were old friends staying for a visit; we felt completely at home during our stay thanks to them. We also greatly appreciated their recommendations for local outings and activities while we enjoyed our stay. The Devonfield Inn is perfectly situated, requiring only a short ride to many local attractions. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will certainly be back!

The rooms were very well appointed , very clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable . The owners are very friendly and welcoming . Highly recommend this inn!

Disappointing Check In Experience
Reviewed By Coastal01308129839We arrived after driving 4 hours only to be told that we have no reservation, even though we called prior to arrival to reconfirm it (which they did). We had a confirmation email from the hotel but the Front Desk agent was not interested in making the minimum effort. We had to insist for her to look it up again, only for her to find it after the fact. Stressful and disappointing checkin experience.

The front desk clerk checked us in quickly. Our room was clean and comfortable. A little worn around the edges, but still a viable place to stay.

Thank goodness they were so wonderful when we got there they accommodated us so quickly and even let us look at the room first which was very clean and very comfortable! They also honored a price I found online! Thank you so much Super 8, I will most definitely stay at your great hotel again! All the employees were so wonderful and helpful and had a great sense of humor as well!! Thanks again!!

Good stay and dog friendly
Reviewed By DigsInNYThis location is DOG friendly and non-smoking rooms and for that alone would be a 5 star since I travel with my pup. Overall this is a solid 3 star. The room is clean and comfortable. My room had a mini fridge, microwave, little kitchen table with 2 chairs. King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom needs to be remodeled as there’s visible damage to tiles and ceiling. With that said, shower has great pressure and consistent hot water. Front desk personnel were very nice. Location is a quick drive to lovely area restaurant.
