Reviewed By 948maijabDue to COVID there are many things that are weird, for example breakfast buffet. Coffee is really bad for gourmet kitchen; food in general is good, not to complain. Service is very average, some people working in the hotel are nice and helpful, some very unfriendly even rude. Rooms are not clean, many old items, toilets and bath in room (for 450,- a night...) with rust spots, a lot of dust and very dry air. There is a major reconstruction in front of hotel right now, which means a lot of noise, no nice view and no playground for kids. If you are with kids don’t stay here! Playground that is in the photos is under reconstruction, there is no playroom or any other activities for kids. Kids are allowed only in pools, which are nice, but generally not a family friendly hotel.

Reviewed By noname600Had a business trip, spent 4 nights here. Service was special, kind, attentive, professional. Otherwise the hotel is very simple, rooms are clean but the furniture is quite old. Parking space is very limited (4).

On a long and hilly walk La Maison-Monsieur was a real treat.
Reviewed By Homo_FaberWe were half-way through an ardous walk from La Chaux d'Abel (nice hotel!) to La Chaux de Fonds via the Doubs valley. Lunch after 4.5 hours of tough walking was very welcome and consisted of fillet of perch with salad and chips and entrecote de cheval with salad and chips. This was accompanied by lager shandy and followed by excellent sorbet.

Schöne - jedoch etwas lieblose Unterkunft
Reviewed By 915melaniegUmgebauter Bauernhof, schöne und stilvolle Zimmer. Das Bett (1.40 breit) war für zwei Personen etwas klein, so auch die Bettdecke (nur eine). Darum haben wir sehr schlecht geschlafen. Vor der Unterkunft lag viel Baumüll, der Besitzer ist wohl noch immer am Umbau dran. Die Küche oder die Tische im Eingangsbereich (wo es das Frühstück gab) war sehr lieblos und auch nicht schön. Der Garten wiederum ist freundlich und lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir haben das Frühstück für CHF 13.-- im Voraus gebucht. Pascal fragte uns wann wir frühstücken möchten, auf die Antwort 7:30 Uhr hat er nicht sehr erfreut reagiert. (Dann soll er doch lieber nicht fragen). Zum Frühstück gab es Kaffee, 3 Stücke Brot und zwei verschiedene Gläser Marmelade. Das war alles. Keine Früchte, Joghurt, Käse oder was man sonst so für diesen Preis erwarten könnte. Auf die Frage hin, ob auch Joghurt zur Verfügung stände, meinte der Besitzer, dass aufgrund Corona keine weiteren Esswaren aufgetischt werden. Scheint mir eher wie eine Ausrede - er wusste ja schon 3 Wochen lang, dass wir kommen und Frühstück gebucht haben. Wirklich sehr schade! Es braucht nicht viel, dass sich Gäste wohlfühlen. Dies haben sie in dieser Unterkunft leider nicht geschafft. Was mich auch sehr störte, dass Pascal "nur" französisch sprach und sich auch nicht um englisch oder sonst wie bemühte - auch wenn er merken musste, dass ich kein Wort verstand. Zum Glück spricht mein Partner etwas französisch...

Reviewed By freewheelindaveThe manager was very friendly with my poor french, stored my bike and gave me wifi very efficiently. The room although small had everything I needed and the windows opened out onto a great view. Good value.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city also enjoys the name "Metropole horlogere", with the city of Le Locle. Centrally located within a 5-minute walk of the train station, the post office and the city's main attractions, the POD Accommodation is housed in a historic building and offers free Wi-Fi and two breakfast choice.
