Warm, Relaxing Environment

I was quite pleased with my stay at Privilege Eurociel. It is a lovely family run hotel and everyone (except the woman who staffed the breakfast room on the first two days of my stay) was kind and friendly. Speaking of breakfast, if you book your stay through the hotel website, the excellent buffet is a bargain at 5 Euros. When I booked, the cost was 3 Euros and the lower rate was honored. It's still a huge bargain at 5 Euros. The location is convenient to the Saint Roch Railway Station, Centre Comedie, and the tram lines. My Superior Double Room was moderately sized, but had a feeling of spaciousness, as well as tons of natural light. There was also an incredible amount of storage space. And most importantly, it was spotlessly clean! Simply stated, this hotel is an all around wonderful establishment and I highly recommend it for a stay in Montpellier.

Great hotel as a Stopover

Reviewed By themadmanc

We were travelling from U.K. to Spain via a long drive through France and booked this hotel as a one night stopover. We were very dubious about a 2* hotel but thought it’s one night, we just need to sleep, we’ll take a chance as all the reviews were so good. We needn’t have worried. It’s basic, yes. But immaculately clean (and I’m fussy), huge double bed, bathroom was clean and functional with no mouldy silicone (I hate that) and the staff were absolutely fantastic. The young lady on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We were knackered and starving. She suggested a few restaurants and takeaways and we decided on a pizza delivery. She came and knocked on our door when it arrived and got us cutlery and crockery and a table in the breakfast room. Parking is plentiful right outside the hotel in their own parking lot and free. The bed was comfy, the location quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We were up and at breakfast for 6.30am next day. Again, blown away by the quality and quantity of breakfast. Pastries, cheese, ham, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and great coffee. And once again a friendly and helpful young lady looked after us at breakfast. Some reviews said they struggled finding it, we used ‘Waze’ and took us straight there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stopover and we’ll definitely use it again.

Not totally living up to the price of our double room.

Really big room for two, quite nice. The two additional bunks were not occupied. Location in Sète is perfect. The things that did not fit with the price of 140 €: Breakfast where the croissants and baguettes are safeguarded by the staff. You get a tray with one croissant. In the bread basket, there is maximum the amount of 1 baguette at a time. Nothing cooked (like eggs, bacon). The air conditioning is special: you cannot set it below 26 °, the thing is centrally controlled. I switched it on to have a good sleep, but it switched off after half an hour or so. Staff said you can set it for longer, but I did not see how. With a window to the street, an open window at night is not a good option. I saw other people had to bring their bedlinen down to the reception. We did not have to.

Wheelchair accessible hotel great location

We spent 5 great nights here whilst visiting La Camargue. The setting near the port of Ponant just outside La Grande Motte is excellent with local restaurants a 5 minute walk away. We had a ground floor PMR room with a terrace overlooking the golf range. The staff were all excellent and extremely helpful. The bathroom has been recently renovated but unfortunately the shower area had a fixed glass screen so it was difficult for me to access in my shower chair. The mirrors above the sink were too high but there was a huge mirror on the wall in the bedroom. At checkout I-mentioned the wet room situation and I was told that if we were to return in the future then they could remove the screen and replace it with a shower curtain. We would love to return

The Pullman Montpellier Center gives you that soothing, away-from-it-all feeling although it happens to be conveniently close-to-it-all. Situated between the old center of Montpellier and the Lez river in the Bofill-designed Antigone district, this hotel is a peaceful setting for a family holiday or a company retreat. Our roof-top Mediterranean restaurant, Le Vertigo, welcomes you for breakfast or a meal. Excellent hotel, right by old town, with convenient parking

Reviewed By Nicola B

An excellent choice for a couple of very comfortable nights. The room was large, cool and well equipped. The rooftop pool was a real bonus. Unfortunately the receptionist who said she would book us in for dinner the first night forgot and there was no availability when we turned up - a waitress giggling didn’t help. However, a different receptionist went out of his way to help and show us where to go. Limited pool snacks but those we had were excellent. A most enjoyable stay, with a pleasant wander round the 'not so old' town, and a petit train too!

Came to this second choice after visiting a nearby Campanille. The Campanile wanted 89 euro each for 2 rooms as we were a party of 3 inc. 1 adult child. Found B & B hotel nearby which was just 72 euro for a good sized 3 bed room. The breakfast was also much better than most of these French budget hotels. It included eggs, bacon and sausage as well as the usual continental choices. Good nights sleep and great value! Highly reccomended.

More like a 4*, so probably the best property currently in LGM

Amazing renovated little 3* hotels, tucked among the pine trees, this historical building was designed by the master planner of the town in the 60s, and was refreshed entirely in 2020, in an exquisite design, classy manner, with a twitch of funkiness. Rooms are some 25sqm, with a tub in the bathroom and a separate toilet (clever!), each room has a very large balcony, with table and chairs, either overseeing the pool or the park on the back. Rooms is very well designed, with brand new bed and mattresses, many electrical outlets inc USB, a mini fridge, plenty of luggage storage and side table in the room. Internet is free and work very well across the entire venue. The hotel has enough parking spot on site (10€ a day) it is secured, and it can help to reserve one just in case the venue is full. They have as well a E charger for electrical cars The swimming pool is large and well organized, well maintained, warmed (24c-26c) continuously, and surrounded by pine trees, making you feel like in an oasis. Staff is young and friendly. The barman, Raul, was amazing, his drinks were excellent. Breakfast seemed good, but we used the outstanding bakery 50m away on the hotel street, larger choice, and one of the best onea in LGM. This is by far the best 3* I have ever stayed at, usually I dont expect anything that good from a 3*, so it was a very good surprise. If they would scale up the service (restaurant and food) it would easily classify as a 4*. We stayed 4 nights in room 116, close to the staircase and not to far from the lift, but room was quiet, so was the entire hotel at night. We could have stayed longer without hesitation The beach is less than 10mns walk via the pine park / forest, a lovely walk surrounded by pine trees perfume. Highly recommended!
