Great location for town, station and cathedral. We’re looking forward to a second stay!

Reviewed By BELMONTIpswichEasy to find hotel. The hotel was clean & comfortable. it is within walking distance of the centre & main sites. It has its own secure, underground car parking. There are plenty of car parks nearby. There is a nearby park & a small supermarket about 100 yds away. Plenty of of hand sanitisers about the hotel and distancing was not a problem - Recommended - good value & felt safe re covid.

Reviewed By Chappie_LuxGreat team, warm and listening. Nice restaurant. We ate for dinner and breakfast, and it was tasty. Comfortable rooms, spacious. I asked for a baby bed and it was already there and prepared when we arrived.

Reviewed By 293hanstLocation of the hotel is very good. Overal impression: quite outdated. Rooms - worn out - but understood that hotel is refurbishing. Bathroom: bit old Internet: internet did not allow videocalling - needed to do via mobile internet. Bit of a shame in 2022. Breakfast - good and good quality Staff - very helpful and friendly. Overall, average quality. Would only return if no other options are available.

Reviewed By darreno895Very hard to find as it is at the back of a building site on an industrial estate! Once found checked in which was fine, receptionist was pleasant, went to room on second floor up a narrow staircase (no lift) which people coming down had to go back up as couldn’t pass! As you enter the corridor for you room it is really dark and the fire exit has a piece of wood nailed across it so you can’t open it? The room it’s self was a bed, 1 chair and a TV, the toilet was a metal cubicle with half a roll of toilet paper, the room was very dark with only 1 wall light and 2 bedside lights. The bed was comfortable and I slept well after about 1am with the noise from other rooms, went for breakfast in the morning which was very poor, very limited choice and fruit was mouldy, the hotel advertised local products which must from the Lidl down the road. The cleaners keep going into your room and turning the air conditioning off when you go out, wouldn’t mind but they didn’t even clean your room or empty the bin! Went out for the whole day and arrived back at 10:30pm, key card didn’t work and as reception was closed we couldn’t get back into the hotel, called the emergency number who couldn’t speak English, luckily just after 11pm a fellow guest was coming out so we were able to enter, went to room which the key card didn’t open, contacted the emergency number from within the hotel which was different from the one outside and a lady answered, again couldn’t speak English but came to the hotel where I could communicate with her using Google translate, after 3 attempts of trying to reset the key card she took a screwdriver to the locking system and got us in just after midnight, the next morning wasn’t any better as my daughter got locked in the bathroom due to a failed lock, so we packed up and left

Good clean hotel
Reviewed By LizzyLeetonThis was a very reasonably proced hotel which is a little way out of town. You would need a car to get into the town. The rooms are clean and spacious and the manager is very obliging and friendly. The reaon I only gave it three stars was it lacked a little atmosphere and was not the typical french accomodation that we stayed in on our trip.

Reviewed By Roger JA great little hotel in an excellent position. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and well equipped. Very comfortable. Really good brassiere serving excellent well priced food. Try the gambas flamed with rum or the faux fillet Limousin steak.

Reviewed By cliverp928Third+ stay, always good but Covid measures deplete the experience. Also a little disconcerting for breakfast selection being cleared before time and finishing our petit dejeuner. No chance of second cup etc.
