A beautiful, relaxing holiday
Reviewed By EmmagemThis hotel is set in lush grounds which are well looked after. The buffet food is amazing, kids loved it! Different foods every day and so much choice. Stunning views. Rooms cleaned every day, and new towels. Lounge area quite small for family of 5 but we weren’t inside very often. Handy to have bathroom and shower room. Didn’t manage to get in the pool as it was too cold. Kids enjoyed playing poole, volleyball and table tennis too. A wonderful week!

Three days of boutique bliss
Reviewed By Takemethere100My teenagers and I decided to take a side trip to Formentera from Ibiza, after a friend recommended we visit this beautiful island. The hotel is located in a fantastic location just steps away from the beach and a stroll to the shops and restaurants. Highlights for us were: Complimentary spa area which is perfect with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Really appreciated being able to take my daughter with me, as often the age minimum Is 16. This really enhanced the holiday and she loved this aspect. Breakfast can only be described as exquisite. The quality of the produce is of the highest level. Exceptional experience. Lunch in the same restaurant was again of high of quality and I thought very good value for a 5 star hotel on an expensive island. We had a lovely evening dining on the rooftop terrace, where our last minute decision to dine was managed effortlessly despite it being busy. Pool area is peaceful, tranquil and spotless. Water temperature is perfect. I never wanted to leave at the end of the day. Service levels are what what really sets the hotel apart as absolutely everyone is on-board, attentive, friendly and wanting to deliver great service. The General Manager was always visible and hands on and everything just came together seamlessly. Thank you everyone for a great stay ?

The Hotel Rosales that has been recently renovated offers an excellent and quality service and a full menu of delicious Mediterranean dishes. The Hotel has 46 comfortable rooms with balcony and 1 room adapted for handicapped people, all with complet bathroom.

Reviewed By Phil BWe had a room on the 1st floor that was nicely refurbished with a good bathroom (hair dryer, soap and shower-gel/shampoo), comfy beds, balcony and serviced every day. Fresh towels whenever we needed them. The Air-Con was very good and not at all noisy. Beach umbrellas were available, but we didn't enquire about them. The breakfast and evening meals (half board) were of a good standard, plentiful and a variety of choices - hot and cold foods, pastries, fruits, drinks etc for breakfast. The evening meals were also good with salads, a different fish course every night, with a other cooked meats, vegetables, chips etc. The location was brilliant. A choice of bike hire shops, small supermarkets and a good array of general shops, bars and restaurants. Very close to the beach and the bus stop (great regular scheduled bus service). The hotel bar prices were similar to other bars in the town. The staff were friendly and helpful and Taylo who was the main person in the restaurant was brilliant and very attentive. Yes the bedroom doors do slam if you let them. Music from the bar could be heard occasionally at night time, but not enough to disturb our sleep. One improvement that we would have appreciated (but remember this is a 3* hotel and not a 5*), would be to have the bedroom floor cleaned each day, as sand from foot wear does get into the room. Overall this is a very good hotel and one we would definitely stay at again.

Reviewed By Jamieleigh012This hotel was absolutely perfect. We had a stunning little apartment on the top flod with a stylish decor and specious dining / living area. A large bed and a lovely clean bathroom with a large shower. I really loved the hotel, especially the view of the pool from our balcony. The pool was beautiful, clean and plenty of cabana beads and sun loungers. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Nick who gave us free drinks every night. I was also pleasently surprised that the half board option for this hotel comprises of a buffet breakfast and a three course sit down evening meal. All of whick exceeded our expectations. The food was lovely. The staff were lovely and the hotel was an all rou d great place to stay. Very central, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach, resturaunts and bars. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be back in the future!

AN UNCOMFORTABLE HOTEL FOR SAME-SEX COUPLES!
Reviewed By zackbeam2705We spent about a week at this hotel. From the first day we saw the breakfast waitresses treating us differently to other guests. My basic Spanish skills allowed me to understand that they made funny comments about us, making fun also from our gestures and the way we dressed We are sure that none of this would have happened had we been a straight couple. We have not won anything with UE gender-protection laws if, they are not respected de facto in public places like this one.

COSTAMAR II EXCELLENT CHOICE
Reviewed By Ocean_1212Costamar II has beautiful studio apartments recently refurbished. Very clean, very comfortable. Few steps away from the Es Pujols center and beach (2 minutes by walk). It was a bit hard to find parking for the scooter some days but I personally suggest this place to whoever wants to come to Formentera. The only incident was that my niece at the departure has left behind a small necklace with pendant with some other personal belongings (there was no doubt that this has been left there) and after calling the reception after few hours they said that these things were no there. Shame!!!

The bathroom is rather small and old fashioned. The staff was outstanding. Pool is really nice and to wrap it all the location is perfect. Ah, and you even have a free and easy place to park your scooter.

Hotel Roca Bella is located right on the beach, at not even 300 meters from Es Pujols, the most important touristic centre in Formentera. The hotel’s strategical location makes it the perfect place to enjoy peace and quietness while being close to the activity of the little village of Es Pujols. The hotel has a Mediterranean architectonic style, which is well-integrated in the landscape of the island. It has a nice garden with several types of plants and many palm trees, which are part of the history and life of Roca Bella. ACCOMODATION: 76 rooms (doubles, for 3 people and for 4 people). Rooms are simple but cosy. They have a bathroom, ventilator, telephone, safe box (to rent) and a nice terrace with sea view. Furthermore all rooms have satellite TV and air conditioning/heater. We also have a room suitable for disabled people. Some of our facilities are RestaurantBuffet, reception-hall with free Wi-Fi, 24 hours reception, Bar-Cafeteria, children park, swimming-pool.
Perfect location for a lovely holiday but some improvements are compulsories!
Reviewed By Athens85We booked 4 days of holidays at this hotel through German tour operator TUI. Staff at the reception is TOP!! Very friendly and helpful for any question you have (information about the island, the beaches, the restaurants, etc.). Both ladies, Erica and Chiara from Italy, are always smiling and 100% helpful in any trouble you might have. Staff in the restaurant is a nightmare, I believe they don’t have the right training for this job! Chaotic service for ordering the drinks, not professional at all! One day we had a sandwich at the Zulamar café, where they work the same waiters that you find in the morning and evening at Rocabella, and it took 1h30min to eat a sandwich (at least 30 minutes in order to pay and ask 4 times the bill!!! NO WAY!). We booked half board and this was a big mistake by our side. Choice of food was very limited but I can accept this as also TUI rated with two stars this hotel. But the quality of the food didn’t satisfy me. Considering how many good restaurants (Bocasalina, Gerri, etc.) are close to the hotel I would recommend accommodation with breakfast only. In this hotel, expect the two amazing Italians ladies at the reception, chaos reigns between the staff, not only at the restaurant but also for the housekeepers. One day they forgot to clean our room and change the towels: this is unacceptable at a 2 stars hotel like in 6 stars hotel. Chiara was really sorry and helpful in providing at least clean towels. The location is a big plus for this hotel surrounded by the sea. Es Pujols can be easily reached in 5 minutes on foot where there are a lots of shops and top restaurants, I would suggest especially Bocasalina. Another plus is that in the morning you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel. If you go in this hotel I would recommend to book a superior room that are renewed, size of the room was also very good and also the bathroom was ok. Overall the room looks more like a 3 stars hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel but: book breakfast only and a superior room!

Reviewed By mandtb2017We stayed here for a week in late September. This small hotel & spa is only in its second year and so everything looks new and fresh. It is very contemporary and stylish with three low rise blocks arranged around a swimming pool and terrace. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and the breakfasts were good. The rooms are quite spacious with a balcony. There is a kitchenette and fridge for self- catering if you wish. The standard is generally high with very comfortable beds and linen and a good shower. The decor is pleasant and neutral. We would definitely recommend this hotel which is only a ten minute walk into Es Pujols and the beach. There are dozens of bars and restaurants in Es Pujols and the beaches are lovely.
