Worst Ever Place To Stay …..AVOID

How can Radisson Hotels America allow such an unclean, unhealthy facility be part of their group??? First thing, both luggage carts had mostly flat steering tires. Being a rewards member I am normally acknowledged, not at this facility. I had to ask if I was in the system and then I requested some bottled water. The room was filthy, the towels were dirty, the comforter was under the sheet, we had no hand soap, less than a roll of toilet paper, the shower chrome had not been wiped down in weeks. Always in a king suite there is a couch and an easy chair. No easy chair in this suite! I asked for a disposable bowl but was response was we need them for breakfast because we have no plates!!! Complaining doesn’t work because no action or resolution was taken. The hall carpet was filthy and littered with trash. Elevator was unkempt. We did not even have a cup of coffee due to the condition of everything else. The breakfast area had cereal and 5 slices of bread laying out! I spent 10,000 of my Rewards Points plus cash for the worst lodging experience EVER!

Reviewed By joseeS2899PMWe were going to beach. We stopped at Red Roof Inn Dothan. The stay was absolute great. Everything was great with the room. Room was very spacious. Swimming pool was open was a plus for my kids. My kids loved it. We will stop by again.

Abusive staff
Reviewed By racheladowlingMy stay at Sleep Inn in Dothan AL was truly terrible. I will never stay at another Sleep Inn anywhere. The staff was hostile and verbally abusive. I stayed with my sister and our young children and only stayed because it was 10pm after a 12-hour day of road traveling. Both staff members I encountered were extremely rude, PM and AM. I am appalled at the way we were treated and would recommend you find a different hotel, especially with children.

Reviewed By Andy ASpent 30k points to stay here - what a waste. Motel is "worn" and due for many improvements. TV's don't work properly - not in my room, or daughter's next door - nor two other guests I heard in lobby during check-out. Room worn and not clean (#200) - visible stains and spittle on walls, fitted sheets don't "fit" and a musty odor that the A/C wouldn't cover up. Breakfast provided, but be careful - I ended up on the poty right afterward. Lady serving (Amanda) doesn't want to be there, and doesn't mind telling you so! One of oldest main-chain places in town, but they did not keep it up. Can't waste my time here crying about it, but if you have options in Dothan - any option - take it!

Worst Hotel Experience in my Life
Reviewed By kelly743We were in Dothan for a baseball tournament this morning and I received my hotel check-in confirmation from Marriott around 10am. I booked the hotel room a few months ago and confirmed the reservation two days prior. When I went to check in at 6pm they said they were overbooked due to a plumbing issue and moved my reservation to a Hampton Inn 15 minutes away. The desk associate gave me a Mapquest print out with the phone number of the hotel and my name handwritten on it. No reservation number. I called the Hampton and they did NOT have a reservation for me. I went back to the courtyard Marriott. The desk associate said she would work on it and let me know momentarily. waited in the lobby for over an hour. During the hour I waited, the same associate asked me multiple times if she could assist me. I told her she was working on transferring my hotel room and she responded, “yes, I’m working on that.” Meanwhile she checked in other guests that somehow they did have rooms available for. Also of note… during that hour I stood waiting, another woman checked in the hotel and came back down to the lobby as the room they checked her into had guests staying in the room she went into! They comped her room and said they would give her extra Marriott points and switched her to another room. At the end of the hour, the desk associate gave me a piece of paper with another hotel name and number - Days Inn. She explained that my experience at Days Inn would be great and I was booked and set up and it was even a cheaper rate than I had at Marriott for a comparable hotel. I drove to the Days Inn, which was close by, and it was the sketchiest hotel I’ve ever been to AND they DIDN’T have a reservation booked for me. I checked in with an uneasy feeling and after I went to my room I went back to the desk and told the associate there that I didn’t feel safe staying with my children. He kindly refunded my money. I called corporate Marriott to try and get help with the situation. After calmly explaining my experience to the associate and asking for assistance, the associate said he could see Marriott did not charge my credit card for the room I booked when he looked up my reservation number. He disconnected the call without ending the conversation and did not call back. I ended up booking a hotel on my own at a Hilton for more than double what I was paying at the Marriott without assistance from the local Marriott or corporate Marriott. I will attach photos of the Days Inn they Marriott “switched” my comparable reservation to for reference. They hotel lobby at the Courtyard Marriott looked decent but the customer service was outrageously horrible, unorganized and unprofessional. Beware booking there that they may move your reservation to another hotel without notification and not even do that correctly.

Reviewed By GotMyPassport007I stayed at this property one night passing through town visiting a friend. There are a few gas stations and eateries nearby. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly in helping me get checked-in. We struck up a friendly conversation and she gave me the details about breakfast, WiFi, and finding my room. My room was clean and well stocked with linens. The thermostat worked fine and the bed was clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked fine for me as I checked some work emails and other platforms. Breakfast offered some tasty hot and cold options (IE. waffle station, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, pastries, coffee, tea, and juice.) I would stay here again and recommend it to friends or family.
