Wonderful find!

Reviewed By Liz G

My husband and I visited Cudillero as one of the stops for our honeymoon, and it certainly did not disappoint! We were so happy to have found this little gem of a place ! It offers a kitchenette, very clean space, stunning views and stellar service ! Hana runs the hotel and was so accommodating and just a real pleasure since the minute we booked the hotel. It’s quite a hike to walk up there, which is important to know if that matters, but so worth it. When we arrived with our luggage, Hana called a taxi to take us as close as possible to not have to walk all that way with it. We are in great shape and even still truly appreciated it ! This place has a wonderful scenery (attached is the view from our room) and honestly is the most terrific location in Cudillero! We would definitely return.

Casa Vieja del Sastre

The hotel "La Casa Vieja del Sastre" is the result of the renovation of a traditional Asturian house built in 1890. All furniture and tools were recovered and replaced in the new renovated hotel, as we try to uphold the original atmosphere of tailors and dressmakers. The hotel is situated in Soto de Luina in the municipality of Cudillero, it's only 2km from the beach of San Pedro de la Ribera, 5 km from Vidio Cape, 10 Km from Cudillero and 25 km from the Airport (OVD-Asturias Airport). It's on the way for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela (St James Way).

Charming hotel for a family visit to this amazing area in Asturias

Reviewed By PimPamGo

This is a really nice quiet and relaxing family run hotel. It has a small number of rooms, around 14 rooms, of all sizes and small restaurant with nice food. We filled the hotel for a weekend at the beginning of March with many family members for a family event in the Valle de las Luiñas area. The area is filled with very nice places and beaches. Nice areas for walking, amazing views, and great local gastronomy. This hotel was perfect. It is run by two sisters that are always willing to help and they help with recommendations. We had breakfast and dinner in their restaurant and everyone was really happy with the food and service. I highly recommend this place!

Clean affordable place in quiet village

Reviewed By markinmiami

I stayed there one night on my Camino Norte trip. The lady at the reception was nice come on the bed comfortable, and the bathroom new, with rain-shower (room 11). Quite affordable as well, though there is hardly anything around it aside from the small palacio selgas. Did not get to have breakfast because of lack of establishments, so a little (pay-for) coffee machine in the lounge would be ideal. Next supermarket-store is in cudillero, 2 km away.

Nice place

Reviewed By Richie911cc

We stayed here for one night during a round trip in Asturias. It's not a luxurious place, but it's a very nice and well driven hotel close to a fantastic beach. The room had just what we needed, a double bed and an extra bed. It's just a short drive from the nice fishing village Cudillero, and we were very happy that we chose this quiet and nice place rather than the busy Cudillero. Fantastic surroundings. We regret that we did not try the restaurant, it gets very good reviews and people seemed very happy with their experience in the restaurant.

I've never been spoken to by someone like the recepcionist before. Disrespectful treatment

Reviewed By Beth1707

I booked this place with my boyfriend July 2021. We both lived in Newcastle and picked this place because of the reviews. Due to last minute personal circumstances, we decided to leave a bit earlier and communicated this to the hotel receptionist with 5 days in advanced, and she said we had to paid for the rest of the stay. We never understood this behaviour since we let her know well in advance of our decision. Instead of reaching an agreement, this receptionist person shouted at us, in front of the rest of the clients, treated us in such a rude way i have never seen before, when we only express our decision to leave a bit earlier letting them know 5 working days in advance. She was very rude, inconsiderate and Im sorry but you might have 25 years working in hospitality industry but you havent learnt how to treat a customer. I dont recommend this place whatsover. Thanks. Great place

Reviewed By saraja

Actually a few years since we stayed here having found it by chance but we are hoping to visit again next year. It is excellent value for money. The owners Vitorio (Viti or Betty as we called him) and Maria Jose are delightful and bent over backwards to help me with my Spanish, at that time very poor. Nice location and judging by photos it’s been updated since we stayed. Looking forward to returning.

Damp and poor

Reviewed By Fred F

We arrived and got a nice welcome but when we got to our room, the bed and towels were damp, it was not comfy. The town rack was rusty and mould around the bathroom. They need to clean this place up. The village looked nice, but I would not stay here.
