Graduation trip

Reviewed By Shellie G

After our arrival a fight broke out in the room close to ours. I heard a woman screaming, slaps and then something hit the wall. I gathered my things and went to the front desk to asked to be changed to another room. The person at the front desk told me they were full. I told the person what happened. I attempted to find another hotel in the area. With graduation the closest hotel would have been Nashua. We decided to stay and returned to the room after I felt like things had cooled down a little.. when we were leaving the next morning. I found that the hotel is across the street from a drug and alcohol treatment center. I was on a friend's and family rate and even at 100$ I feel that the price was too high given the atmosphere and the area. The hotel reeked of cigarettes. I do not remember if it was suppose to be a non smoking hotel. I was traveling alone with my daughter and did question our safety.

we stayed here just one night before heading back to Boston Airport I have seen a few other Tru's around but this was our first stay..very euro/ minimalist feel to common area and rooms..( aimed at the younger business traveler I think ..good gym/workout area huge flat screen TV more charging outlets than you could possibly have devices for..bright , bold colors good beds but no comfortable chair or other homy Items you'd find in a traditionally Hilton. only complaint was in our room, 305, we could hear all the trucks going by at about 5:30 AM qa nice plus was the price we got it for..less than other lower rated hotels in Concord, we'd stay here again for sure!

Great location in downtown Concord. Easy walk to restaurants and Capital Center for the Arts. Room was spacious with tall ceilings, very clean, comfortable beds, with extra amenities including robes and slippers, a clothing steamer, chocolates, bottles of water, Echo Dot (or something similar), wide screen flat tv, and free parking. Staff was professional and courteous. Definitely exceeded our expectations based on the price point. Highly recommend!

This is a typical mid-range hotel with above-average front desk service. The room was clean, I wouldn't say sparkling; bed was satisfactory. Plenty of pillows. The heat did not switch on and off all night loudly. I was not congizant of highway noise. Typical continental breakfast - waffle maker, cereal, etc. The only negative that stand out was how very dirty the rug from the door to the front desk was, and the elevator floor was filthy. It is a perfectly fine play to stay for a night or two at a fair price.

Came for the entertainment, not the Food

Reviewed By hichelle

I have come to the hotel for prior functions in past (with no major issues). This time I came with friends to checkout the outdoor entertainment and have what we hoped was a enjoyable evening. The guitar player/singer was the highlight. Now, heres the rest, the outdoor patio is straight through the main entrance to the back and is nicely setup with tables, firepits, flowers and water feature. The staff was minimal and inattentive and there was no servers. There was poor communication about what and how food was being served that evening. There was a bar with wine (house wine Woodbridge $9 a glass) and bottled beers (around $7). Plus, some other various liquors. The bartender looked bored and none of limited staff was smiling or personable. They setup a portable cooking station and were cooking vegetables (NO Meat available) in oil and soy sauce with a choice of ginger and garlic added in. Then the food was put on top of rice in a takeout container (like those used at Asian restaurants). There were chopsticks & plastic forks, but no plates. The vegetables were cooked ok but with no real taste otherwise and no additional sauce to put on them. For $9 a fun idea could of been organized better. There was also a party that was given the wrong credit card slip to sign then refused a receipt. There was a older man in the corner with arms crossed the whole evening (who might of been a manager) but he didn't seem to interact with anyone but staff. FYI to the Marriott, I've stayed at many of your properties globally and enjoy Bonvoy benefits. This was a lost opportunity especially since you have a decent patio setup. I just was at a Boston Marriott property the prior weekend and the factility, service and staff were spot on.

The room was not very clean, the pool & jacuzzi where filthy. We didn't feel like driving so we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant I got the haddock, the fish smelt bad, I sent it back and just got chicken wings, I didn't eat them, they were under cooked and where like rubber. We ended up leaving to eat dinner elsewhere. Worst restaurant I have ever been in....
