Reviewed By SportsRef-OffThis was my second stay at this La Quinta location in a year. All went well again. The staff was friendly courteous like last time. The room was comfortable and clean. The double bed rooms are in the back of the hotel but there is not a back parking lot. However, there is a “well lighted” side lot and you can easily see your vehicle from the room parked in one of the upper spots toward the interstate. It is a little adventurous navigating to the hotel location from the interstate because you have to turn onto an outer road that leads back under the interstate but it is manageable.

Reviewed By MgitsmeI wanted to give 5 or even 4 stars. Sadly I have been here 6+ hours. The room is clean. The walls are NOT thin which is great. Staff, very friendly. It’s the bed that I came for. After 7 hours of straight driving , often in pouring rain, I finally laid my head down. Every time I have rolled over I am awaken by a strange noise. It resembles the sound springs could make on an old school mattress. Much deeper sound then that but similar. I have spoke to the person at the desk. Will need to contact the manager. It’s 5:30 am so I will do that in a few hours. The heads up is that I don’t know if this is a fluke to this particular bed in this moment or if in general the mattresses at this hotel are somehow of a quality that is fair less then you expect from a Hampton Inn. I’ve stayed at many in my life time. This is the 1st time anything has been disappointing. Sorry if I were u I don’t think I would take the chance.

Breakfast was good and had many options for all our family’s needs. One recommendation would be to add milk to the sundries area for people with little kids.

Reviewed By Daryl HThis is a simple somewhat well-worn hotel, but what value for money. They room was spacious, comfortable bed, Good wifi. Two sinks! And great artwork above the bed. I would definitely stay here again for the price they're charging. The hallway outside my room smelled like smoke, so they must have smoking rooms here.

Reviewed By cmoore211518They do not offer free breakfast. There is a restaurant on site where you can get breakfast with a $2 off coupon. There is also a bar on the south end by the office. If you you don't want to be kept up by the noise ask for a room on the opposite side.

Reviewed By flosventureI've stayed in many different Motel 6s and this one was by far the best one. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The location is great. The room was spacious, clean, didn't smell bad as most other Motel 6 rooms, was very cheap and everything was clean! Clearly one of the better Motel 6 and I would for sure come back!

Lucky escape!

Booked directly through their website which takes you through to Magnuson Hotels and booked it 9 months in advance! When we arrived in Clinton after a long day's driving we were told that there was no room for us! What's more, the two people running the place didn't care and were no help at all. When I showed them the confirmation e-mail they just basically shrugged their shoulders and said that it was not their problem. There was no apology or suggestion of alternative accommodation. In the short time that we stood at the reception area it became obvious that we were going to have a lucky escape!! The reception area and breakfast area looked very run down. I e-mailed Magnuson to let them know what had happened but they have not bothered to reply. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which was great.
