Reviewed By Richard MWe were at this hotel for 5 days and when we arrived the room was in good condition. As with other hotels finding help is almost impossible and I understand that. Day 1, reported a light out in the bathroom; Day 2, requested housekeeping for day 3 to empty wastebasket (only one small one available), more toiletries, and new towels; Day 3 found the toiletries and toilet paper, in a plastic bag thrown into the room and the towels were laying in the bedroom. Every morning we had a problem with the poor fitting bottom sheet (as unfortunately they do not buy the correct size for these mattresses). When we left we also had no tissues (although I used mine because theirs was so very thin. No housekeeping had been near the room, did not need a cleaning, just a couple (mentioned above) of small things. The breakfast was terrible, the sausages the first morning were burnt. On the last two mornings we bought danishes from an outside vendor to have, no bread for toast, other than bananas and oranges had no fruit. The hallways were well worn and the doors to the rooms needed fresh paint and to be reinstalled in some of the rooms. Needless to say will not stay there again. Not up to the standards I expect of a Hilton facility.

Reviewed By Stay38308663298So, as a diamond member who travels a lot, generally when the front staff knows something is weird , then it's weird. The staff, when I check in, were nice. I am set to receive a free breakfast in my settings, and we doublechecked it. They WARNED ME, that management did breakfast in a strange way. They said they charge diamond members and then issue a refund. THIS IS JUST A SET UP TO CHARGE YOU AND NEVER GIVE YOU A REFUND!!!!!! I waited until everything cleared. Then I called the hotel and asked for a refund. They said management would call me back. I waited for a few more days. Nothing, of course, because at best this hotel has management that lies, at worst, they are crooks. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL. If they will cheat and lie in one area, I find they'll do it in other areas as well.

Reviewed By itzrickI put on the app that we would be ther at 130 and got there at 2 and know that you aren't guarentied check in till 3 but your desk clerk doesn;t have to have an attatude and not even see if there are any rooms available and say we don't allow early check ins when we were booked up last night. I am a gold member and get upgrades when available but at this place when 3 comes they give you a choice of downgrading from a suite to a room or not getting your handicap suite you reserved. You would think you were in you were in a big town staying at a scummy motel the way they treated us,

Not bad for a night stay
Reviewed By barbaralD3082LQRoom was a good value for one night. Clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows are cheap but we got 2 queens and they had 4 pillows each so could double up without a problem. Drove with a trailer and all things untouched through the night.

Reviewed By jayhum43The rooms had dead bugs on the air conditioner, and floor. There is no elevator at thus facility so if you're on the second floor I hope you're only staying one night. There was no breakfast offered but it was stated in the site that there was breakfast.

Better than I thought it would be
Reviewed By sunshine 1I don't normally like rooms with outside doors but it was cheaper so.... It's a little off in a corner not far from I-20 but the rooms don't face the road so it was quiet. It was pretty empty when I got here around 8pm and parking spaces were full in the morning. AC wasn't on and I pushed buttons. It wasn't until I called office that it came on. Wondering if they have controls. Frig fan was loud so I unplugged it. Bed was COMFY. Room 203 was clean. No smells.. I'd stay here again.. thx

Unacceptable Unprofessional Unhygenic Conditions
Reviewed By rbullock725So, two importantish things if they matter, since no site I've seen has updates about them: no open pool and no free breakfast. Both areas exist, but the person at the front desk confirmed for me because I inquired about both that neither are available to guests at this time. This is my second visit to Clinton and my second stay at this hotel. My first stay was fine. For the cheap stay it was relatively unproblematic with a musty smell but a clean suite style situation enough to sleep and stay the night. That was only a few months ago. This stay was atrocious. My first room was unassuming, looked like I remembered and bed made, except there was used toiletries and trash and a backpack in the closet?? There was also no microwave. I had a call to make, but right after that, I called the front desk and they said they would change my room and did. The new room had three lights not working. The microwave made weird beeping noises randomly and the toilet ran constantly. Speaking of the toilet, guess what randomly I woke up to the smell of literal crap and a flood from? Now, it was not like a huge huge flood, but toilet water spilled from the bathroom and into the area in front of the bathroom. I woke up to a huge puddle and didn't know what to do, so I called it in. The woman who answered said she would bring a plunger and hung up before I could tell her a mop was necessary. When she got to my room, she handed me the plunger while I was standing in my pajamas and then suggested I put a towel down to clean it up. I looked at her, she didn't have a mask on, but with my mask on I gave her my best "really?" face and I proceeded to tell her I jumped over the puddle to get the door as is and I was in flip flops because I just woke up, so I was not going to obstacle course my way into the flooded bathroom to get a towel to clean the said flooded bathroom that flooded when I was asleep. She gave me a look before suggesting she could call her husband to fix it. The man who came next (not confirmed to be her husband) proceeded to frustratedly inform me I caused the water which leaked in his apartment two stories below (which- I told him I was upset as he was and I woke up to it to which I think I gained some little bit of empathy) and he grumbled in some other language for a good 5-10 minutes while he vaccumed (yes, vaccumed) the water up and then mopped before leaving a machine from the hallway (dehumidifier?) in my room. I was not compensated in any way for this trouble or offered a new room, not that it would have helped at this point, and a room is a room when it is rainy and humid outside and no less expensive hotel has any rating somewhat comparable, not that this one is the best. I may have gotten extremely unlucky, and I wanted to be and thought I was being gracious and should be as this location was a self described mom and pop despite having a name many other hotels have and self described staff issues, but the treatment I experienced was unacceptable and the room conditions in both rooms was unacceptable as well. Unprofessional by every measure. There was even a laundry cart abandoned in the elevator at one point in the late afternoon one day and it took up at least half the room in the small elevator. I was going to extend my stay, but I ended up wanting out a day early and only remained because I was exploring my options and could not get refunded, so I am going to try elsewhere and implore you to spend the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. I know I likely will. The musty smell was predominant and the walls were thin like last time, which are things you should expect should you decide to stay. The room quality is also going to range from acceptable to straight up neglected or unpredictable despite seeming okay. Overall a shot in the dark, so I would not recommend you risk it. I would say solid 3 stars if this was like Nov 21 but as of this Feb 22, heck no, 1 star seems too high. I will leave as many pics below as I can. For the flooded floor, I avoided sending anything with the flushable cloths that came back up or the waste bits, but the vaccum and mop are visible.
