Clermont is a small city in Florida, west of Orlando. Clermont, which is known as the “gem of the hills,” is surrounded by gently sloping hills in an otherwise flat state. Reviewed By angiefo1130We arrived very late after traveling all day around 2 am. The front desk employee was very friendly and helpful. She made sure we were aware that they had a little store to buy food and drinks if we were hungry. We got up to our room it was perfect temperature and very clean. Nice comfortable bed and great location.

Reviewed By ericsA2799PFThis hotel is a little further from Disney (about 7 miles) however, the hotel has been updated and it is very quiet. The bedding felt new, fresh paint throughout, the a/c worked well, and the bathroom was large and very well lit. The entire property was very clean as well.

Quality Inn Maingate West is a family hotel located in Kissimmee. Its priviledged location places guests very close to the popular Disney parks and some of the city's main attractions. Hot breakfast and shuttle service included. Features free WI-FI, parking and local calls. The hotel also has a family outdoor pool and premium TV channels. All of this under the exceptional Quality Inn Maingate West service.

The "hot" breakfast had stale cereal, plain white bread (one day had a few bagels), thawed donuts and sour orange juice. We had to walk to the desk to ask for towels, get more toilet paper and tissues. The room was "cleaned" every other day and I’m pretty sure wasn't vacuumed. No working ice machine. Pool was filthy with no working shower and ripped chair cushions. (Although it said you had to shower to enter the pool!). I came last minute and they charged me an extra $10/nt -for what?! Total rip-off! I have gotten a lackluster response from Choice Hotels with the standard “we are sorry to hear” response. Have offered measly points so that I can stay again?! No thank you!!! Very disappointing. There are PLENTY of other places to stay than here!!!!

The room had 2 double beds, TV, A/C, a 2 seat sofa, desk and rolling chair, small fridge with an ice compartment, microwave, one comfy chair, a bench, full length mirror, and a phone There was no safe or iron and ironing board. The bathroom had a shower only, and the sink was outside the bathroom. There was a patio door.which we didn't use, as it was cold. The pool was closed. We did laundry ($2 wash, $1 dry). There was free coffee in the lobby. And the staff were friendly. We would stay there again.
