A stylish guest house with extremely warm and welcoming hosts, we had a wonderful three night stay here and I would not hesitate to go back. From the moment I got in touch, Laurent was very helpful, and always quick to respond, providing suggestions for things to do in the area (La Voie des Vignes cycle ride being an absolute must!) as well as giving us great restaurant recommendations, and helping us book tastings. We also had a wonderful, private tasting with Laurent in their cellar on our first night (during a rather atmospheric thunder storm) which was a great introduction to the region, and enjoyed many fabulous Burgundian wines from their well-stocked wine fridge during our stay. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable, and the breakfasts were equally impressive - homemade yogurt and jam a particular highlight! In all aspects, the details are meticulous and well thought out. Le clos des tilleuls definitely delivers on style and comfort but is the warmth of the hosts, Sophie and Laurent, who are always so welcoming and helpful, that truly make this a great find.

Reviewed By BrianRIThis was our second stay at Bellecroix and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms are all very nice and the facility is lovely. A classic French Chateau. Our suite was quite large with a modern bathroom. The continental breakfast was served to the table which is nice. Very quaint with not a lot of extra services. Very close to many excellent vineyards.

Reviewed By CountlunaIf you are on your way along the autoroute, go to Chagny and get a room in hotel de la Poste. There is nothing special with this hotel, except the rooms are clean, old fashioned pleasant, and the staff is friendly. Don't expect a great breakfast, but you wouldn't if you see the price. By the way, the breakfast was satisfying. The hotel is also a good starting point for some wine tours in Burgundy. Because the hotel is certainly not expensive you can spend your saved money on some special wines from Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet or in the three star Michelin restaurant 'Maison Lameloise', next door.

Reviewed By Luc305Clean rooms, recently renovated and very functionnal (includes individual airco); personnel that visibly tries to make things work and make your stay enjoyable. The place is rather large, and lacks some warmth, but they are on the right track to get this place back on the map. Very convenient location, although you are not in a 'village' environment. If you want to go anywhere, you need to take your car. But all in all, we had good beds, clean showers, peaceful nights and would recommend the place if you are mobile. Breakfast and restaurant are ok, and will hopefully get somemore sofisticated as things evolve. And NO problem to park your vehicle! Oh and prices are really competitive. All in all a good deal! Perfectly clean, very comfortable beds... the very strong check-in regulations due to host mind-set
Reviewed By SvetishiThe B&B is cristall clean and designed with love and great since of trends. The beds were very comfortable and bed-linen of high quality and snow-white. The towels and bed-linen did not have the terrible aroma of chemicals, but very light fragrance. It would be en excellent rating from our family, if the communication with host would in more friendly manner done. So, for those, who is able to appear earlier 19.30 for check in , this location is worth to stay in. For others, who is not sure to meet this check in time- choose another option. You will never have the deal with the host , as Valery is not in position to change her strong check-in regulation. Non-French speaking people might have problems with communication. Special recommendation to the host to publish and share with travel operators your strong regulations for arrival , and maybe notice, that children are not appreciated, in case, it it is real restriction. Better description - more happy visitors. Please also update your web-site with actual phone numbers for urgent cases ( as it was in our case), so that you could be updated as well, in case , if there’re is troubles with your coming guests are happen. But if do not accept any customers , that a late due to accident on the road ( our case) , please provide clear statement about your restrictions to operators and most important, at your web-site.

Reviewed By martijnk2018They are advertising with airconditioning, but don’t have any. No one at reception upon arriving and we never saw someone at the reception during our stay. Swimming pool dirty, and floating / broken lamp, not safe! Only 1 parasol available at the swimming pole for all guest?? Rooms are not soundproof (also advertised!) There was a filmshoot on Sunday at the swimming pool, and a group teenagers were popping champagne inside the pool. Nobody was informed about this in advance, I think this is the least you can do! When I complained about this, the manager was quite rude and very unfriendly! The location is good, the cleaning staff is really nice, but I don’t recommend because of too many issues.
