In touring Andalusia I have been to big cities and small towns, travel to Parador de Cazorla takes you back to nature high in the Sierra de Cazorla mountains. Away from city lights you can see stars at night. My lunch at the restaurant was exceptional. I has a a salad with duck ham; and Rabbit - the Parador de Cazorla menu specializes in local game based dishes. I have never had a meal as well prepared and unique as my lunch at Parador de Cazorla and anticipate many years before another restaurant can top this meal!

We payed 84,55 € per night. For the facilities we received this was VERY expensive. We pay less in a Parador for a much better service and facilities! We stayed in room 301 on the 2nd floor. 1/Meanness on the lighting. The light in the room was so fun you could not read. Burned light bulb did not get replaced. I used a light bulb from the hall to have some light. You used the weakest LED lights, a few watts more would make the difference and hardly any more consumption!! At night everything was pitch-dark, also outside. Without a torch impossible to find your car. Although, led lights are available around the building. 2/WIFI in the room did not work. The signal was so weak most appliances(tablet/pc) did not detect a network. You need WIFI repeaters in a hotel !! 3/TV reception only Spanish and very bad reception quality. In a 3 star hotel you expect satellite TV with international channels. 4/never received clean towels in a week. Bathroom floor never washed. The bathmat got extremely dirty. 5/breakfast only from 9am!! In a nature area where the guests want to go early to walk and see wildlife this is way too late!!!! Normal hotels serve breakfast at 7.30 or latest at 8am. 6/the hotel seemed to have been taken over by new people. The staff was still searching and learning how to serve and operate things. 7/ the hotel is infested with flies. In the room when you opened a window you got 100 flies in the room/bathroom. Horrible. Unavoidable since there is no other ventilation. 8/The balcony was not usable. The sooth from the chimney falls on the balcony , table and chairs. Everything is black and dirty.

Hotel is situated in a smal alley. That might not sound appealing but has the advantage of no traffic noise. Some internal noise in the hotel though. I got a free upgrade to a room with a double bed. Nice size room, good bed, aircon & wifi ok, bathroom good, breakfast simple but good. Friendly staff. The only thing missing is a balcony or terrace, but for the price this is fine. I would come back.

We love this family run hotel restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There are ensuite facilities and Wi-Fi is available but the signal strength is not good. The menu for the evening meal gives a number of choices for local dishes and the breakfast provides tostadas, cold meats, cheese and a variety of sweet items such as magdalenas. The locality is ideal for birdwatching and enjoying the wildlife.

Im addition to the basic facilities, our hotel offers to the traveller the choice of 35 rooms, all with bathroom, heating, air-conditioning, Satellite TV, you piped music and direct telephone lines.
Cazorla is a charming town, with very narrow streets, it is quite challenging if you have a bigger car. This combined with festivities with extra road blocks, took us ½ hour driving around. The hotel has no parking, so don’t waste your time driving around, but go for parking Andalucia. This parking is in a circle, making it easy to park the car. Be aware: the streets are steep and full of stairs, this is for sure an issue if you have to carry your luggage to the hotel. The hotel itself is at a nice open space. It looks promising on the outside, and shows tree stars – unfortunately that is at least one start too much. The room was very basic, but clean. Problem is that the noise: we had a room at the backside of the hotel (away from the plaza), but there was still a lot of noise. Also note the clock of the church that sounds every ¼ hour. Breakfast is in the restaurant (this place is a hotel and restaurant), and the choice is limited. No complaints though, all is in line with the price. What is more disturbing: if you are non-Spanish tourist, you are last in line. We had dinner in this restaurant, and had to ask 3 times for another drink, when you order, only portions of the order are provided, … This not only happened once, but several times, till finally the boss took care of us (I contacted her to complain about the service). The order arrived promptly, but desert was ‘ forgotten’, till she saw my angry look. This is not OK. And their English knowledge is below basic, we were lucky to at least understand a little Spanish (To be clear: I don’t expect everyone is able to express him/herself in English, but for a touristic area, staff at hotels/restaurants should at least be able to help in English). There is a swimming pool that looks like an oversized jacuzzi, surrounded by... walls Conclusion: this is a very nice town, but I will not return to this hotel.

The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything needed for an over night stay. Very Typical Spanish. Nice size room with TV and free WiFi, excellent shower with unlimited hot water, reasonably comfortable bed. Very quiet hotel, slept like a log.

The hotel is conveniently situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Cazorla. Tricky to find at the end of a pedestrian precinct surrounded by apartments. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the views from the balcony are superb. The staff are most helpful, with an especial thanks to JJ for his directions to the major sights in the Natural Park.
