Fantastic stay
Reviewed By Fergie-VicWe loved staying here, good location just 5 mins down the hill from the ski resort. Karine and Gilles were exceptional hosts. We ended up eating there every evening. Wonderful food and great company. We had planned to eat on the mountain but glad we didn’t.

Reviewed By Ana EWe booked this hotel because my partner and I were looking for something quiet to disconnect from day to day and the truth is that we succeed!. The hotel is run by a lovely couple, they told us that only since December, but they already make you feel like it is your house of a lifetime. It's space is very cozy and has a lot of warmth and I don't mean only the human one, but you can spend hours in front of the fireplace. And finally, a tip: you don't need to look for a place to dine outside the hotel, the food is pretty good. Fully recommended

I wouldn't call the accommodation luxurious but it was clean, it was comfortable and hotel and restaurant catered for us cyclists magnificently. We ate in the restaurant the food was very good and there was a tremendous buzz about the place with locals and visitors alike enjoying themselves and chatting to the very friendly mine host.This is a traditional country hotel with its own special atmosphere and I enjoyed it very much.

Reviewed By 114becsfOnly meant to stay one night but because we were made so welcome we stayed two. Set in lovely surroundings the rooms are nestled away. Amazing showers, soft towels and fresh linen. Bathrooms were all very well designed and quirky. Celine was very helpful and kind. Thank you.

The Hostel La Bergerie welcomes you with simplicity to share a moment of calm and relaxation. Our small village hostel offers six rooms and is located in the heart of the Campan valley in La Seoube (980m of altitude), 10 kilometres from the Col d'Aspin. five double rooms and a spacious family suite, provide all you need for a pleasant holiday with family or friends. We can accommodate 17 people in total: three double rooms, two twin room , and finally a family room able to sleep 4 to 7 people. In the morning, breakfast is served in the living room in a moutain atmosphere, with an old chimney, visible beams and a floor made with marble from the valley. For dinner we will introduce you to regional recipes such as lamb, trout from the Adour river, and the traditional homemade soup 'Garbure'... Things to do: The Lac de Payolle (5km) is an ideal starting point in summer for family walks or mountain bike riding, you can even be accompagnied by a mountain guide if you wish. The Neouvielle Nature Reserve and its multiple lakes can be accessed from the road towards La Mongie and the Col du Tourmalet. We are also not far from the world heritage listed Gavarnie Cirque, an imposing and majestic semi-circle of rock carved out by successive glaciations.

Reviewed By TempliersLuzOn the road between the Col d'Aspin and the Tourmalet this is an easy spot to stop for the night inexpesively. Nice breakfast with home made jam. The type of place you dream of finding in rural France but that doesn't really exist any more. Simple and good natured. Enjoy the calm and the big sky.

Wonderfully relaxed couple of days in a comfortable chambre d'hote
Reviewed By John HWe were 2 mature motorbikers. Found the La Cazalere off the main street in a leafy side road. Welcomed by the owner, Patrick, who couldn't have done more to welcome us and settle us in. We had paid for a twin room but at no charge offered us a (spacious) room each ... very generous. He came in to make breakfast which was excellent with good croissant and bread, jam made by his Mum, omelet, cheese etc etc He was not around much during the day but we had free range in his kitchen to make tea and coffee. The decor was definitely mountain activity-based with plenty of space (pool table room) to leave our gear to dry out. There is a big fireplace but we didn't need it. A small courtyard gave security for our bikes overnight I would love to go and stay there again. Thank you Patrick!
