Used the pool facilities and breakfast buffet for convenience...all as advertised. No complaints and would recommend.

Reviewed By H9887EUericrThe room I had was very large, clean, and very comfortable. There was a large refrigerator in the room, which was very useful. The valet parking was quite convenient -- perhaps a bit expensive, but I think it was well worth it given my needs. I was able to walk quite easily to the downtown area in about 25-30 minutes. I found the area to be quiet, and the room itself was well-insulated and so I could sleep and rest without being disturbed. The check-in and parking staff could have shown a bit more life, but overall they were very competent and took care of all my needs.

Fabulous breakfast included and very cozy bar in which to relax with a drink. Located in the heart of Buffalo, walking distance to great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Reviewed By BrakemivenThe desk clerks here were pleasant and helpful. However, the overall atmosphere of the hotel is uninviting. The halls were dimly lit, as was our room. There was a musty odor in some of the halls as well. The breakfast included very few items, compared with that in similar hotels, and many of them were of low quality. Most importantly, the noise from the hall traveled easily into the room, especially the loud closing of doors nearby, making our sleep frequently disrupted.

Reviewed By glaugh617The Hyatt tried to scam me and my boyfriend out of almost $400. When I booked our stay I used my visa card. The room and taxes should’ve come out to about $340. When my boyfriend checked us in, the receptionist asked for his mastercard for incidentals. Reasonable enough. I was then charged at check in the $340, everything running how it should be. Then tell me WHY my boyfriend was then charged $380. Because I am yet to figure it out. When I called to get this taken care of, I was met with this answer “I really don’t know what to tell you, I don’t have an answer for you”. Someone else told me that the reason my boyfriend was charged is because I didn’t have sufficient funds in my account. But i was already charged the $340. He was charged the day after I was. Very poor experience, would not recommend to anyone. 1 star is too much to give to this company.

The hotel manager, Huseyin was helpful and accommodating as he ensured the stay would exceed our expectations. He succeeded! The Front Desk Supervisor, Casey should also be commended for excellent hospitality. We were welcomed warmly and placed in the room we reserved upon arrival. Our room was immaculate and our view of the lake was extraordinary! The hotel staff continued to provide superior service. Towels were delivered within minutes of my request, suggestions for nearby food and entertainment options were offered with enthusiasm, and the bartenders and servers at the restaurant were friendly and well-organized. I'm confident that my upcoming trip back will be just as wonderful. Just this morning, Brittany at the front desk helped to confirm my reservation and patiently answered my questions.
