Nice place without connection to the real world
Reviewed By Henk DWe stayed in an appartment in the secondary building. Compared to the French standard, it was a quite big appartment. Although they mention in the contract a strictly check of the inventory, some things were missing... In general fair price. BIG MINUS: no internet connection!!! Explanation: we are at the end of the antenna... make me joke...

Reviewed By tobya615Yeah it’s near enough to the lifts as are many many places there. The staff are also very nice and as helpful as possible (when you actually see them) but basically unless you like cleaning and fussing over finickty details like dishwashers, bed making, vacuum cleaners and putting the rubbish out when you’re on holiday then why ever stay here. The detailed list of what you must do to have your deposit returned comes with a little box with some sponges etc just to show they mean it. If you happen to be less then 5ft tall then you might just get a decent nights rest after the slopes but we are both average height and our feet were hanging out of the ‘single’ beds which were also very narrow compared to a standard single. We laughed it off as was only a very short stay but will make a note note to bother again.

Reviewed By ManuelaGrgicFor whatever reason you visit Lassus, you will find the most friendly staff, the most positive atmosphere, the hostes with the warmest smile....and they will make you feel better than you could have imagined! We (family with two little chldren)stayed there for one night after having car crash 1500km from home. We didn't choose to stay there simply the police took us there as it was the only place open. If there were 100 more options - still Lassus would be the best choice. Those people are amazing with their smiles and positive attitude. They have been more then helpful. They were friends. Also, I have to mention that the food is excellent, just like real home cooking. No junk or "hotel" food there. Their meals have the scent of a family home. If you ever visit that part od France- go to Lassus!!! It ain't no luxury hotel but you will feel great! That hotel is the only bright spot on our long (3 days) return home. I regret that I never shook my hands to Mrs and Mister Lassus and never got her name- she's an angel!

Lovely room, good food but cold welcome

They accepted us a short notice and also did some vegetarian meals for us for which we were grateful, a large omelette with sautee pototoes and vegetables, which was good; we were disapointed not to have the creme catalane for dessert same as everyone else, but I suppose maybe they had made just the right amount for guests already staying there. We had a lovely room with rooftop and mountain views, clean and comfortable. However, the owners were not friendly, pollite but not welcoming. The breakfast was dispointing with old warmed up non butter croissants, especially since there is a grocers in the village selling fresh ones.

Nous vous accueillons dans une ancienne bâtisse de pierre et de bois traditionnelle du plateau. Reality very different from the online brochure
Reviewed By paulawiddowsonMy family stayed here over Christmas 2019. From the start lots of little things went wrong. We were in room 5 which is sold as a twin/double - but is actually 2 singles pushed together as in student accommodation. In room 5, it took 2 days to get the lights working, 3 days to get the bathroom towel radiator working and on day 5 we found our shower was leaking down the walls behind our daughters' beds in room 4. This together with a fire that smokes the living room out, a boot room in the garage where the lights did not work for 4 days....meant that the holiday was not quite as described. The hosts were lovely and feeling their way into the new roles, but the towels were not changed nor were the rooms hoovered/dusted all week. When I contacted Le Ski, they failed to understand the issue, as far as they are concerned, they acted as soon as they could and were grateful that my feedback means the next guests have a better experience! If you do book with Le Ski I suggest you ask for written confirmation of wht they mean, rather than accepting their words on describing their accommodation
