Reviewed By Za036It’s a good hotel to stay a couple of nights in Bienne being so central. Decor is stuck in the ‘80 so if you want brand new it not you kind of hotel but, it’s clean, staff at the reception and at the restaurant is kind and friendly. Had dinner at the Barrique restaurant and breakfast buffet which were good. The gym is very tiny and basic but bright give the window.

STAY AWAY Week 1 of 3 week stay and not looking forward to week 2 and 3
Reviewed By jaymC9195JAIf your not used to off brand hotels you will not enjoy this hotel. It lacks most all comforts a business traveler has come to enjoy . First off the room size is so small you have to go outside to change your mind. The showers are ridiculously appointed with the shower head in the center of the tub not at the ends. This makes no sense and as a taller person. It's not very comfortable. Got to Shave? Better do your hair first or you risk electrocution. The sink fill to the very top with water and will not drain for at least an hour. If you happen to use the hair dryer and it falls into full sink, look out... Need laundry service ? Better plan for a day trip to some magical laundry mat . This is a huge inconvenience personally . Oh speaking of laundry . Took 4 days of asking for an iron and ironing board. Really how is this not in every room. Hungry ? Forget about it. Other than a subpar breakfast buffet which is like ground hogs day that's all you get. They have a full service restaurant buy serve no food. Guess you can order some McDonald's for 35 CHF. That's for 1 meal. Want to relax and watch TV? Well your laptop probably has a bigger screen. As I travel to Biel 8 to 10 times a year I will not be staying here any longer. I may not even complete my current reservation. Very disappointed. So either I have super high expectations or all these other reviewers have very low standards. Cheers.

Not worth the money
Reviewed By yannb858This hotel used to be a flagship of the city but under the new owners, this changed 180. Now it feels only a minimum service is being offered: no parking anymore, reception is only opened from 15h to 20h, breakfast was quite poor, coffee machine broken, staff neither spoke french, nor german. Rooms are okay though, but I expected better for the higher price tag.

Reviewed By 383mayuriA really cosy and homely hotel, with really good food and friendly staff. The rooms are kept clean, and the washroom is modern and updated. The location is great, with some really nice cafes and shops within walking distance. The owner is a gem. Would definitely visit again.

Reviewed By ElFolchI know it can be charming and authentic to have an host who only speaks the local language, but that’s absolutely not practical since we could not communicate at all about when to pay, where was the room... We speak English and French and the lady could not understand a single word, she was looking at us as if we were not welcomed at all. However, we made it ! Everything in the hotel is oldy but well, it’s ok. Not feeling very secure when entering the room that was already opened (any stranger could come and put cameras or anything else).

Reviewed By Pieter PThe location is near the city centre. There are no parking lots but you can find parking space nearby easily. The hotel is a little old fashioned but that's okay with me. Everything is clean and everything works fine. The breakfast was good enough. A perfect place to stay for one night.

Reviewed By Will HCame late at night after booking on the train ride over. Very good location, close to downtown, 10-15 min walk from SBB. Nice little breakfast setup with coffee and conversation. Rooms were actually surprisingly big and nice.

Reviewed By RamonDuEin tolles B’n’B mit reichhaltigem Frühstücksbüffet, grossen Zimmern und einem schönen Garten. Direkt bei der Altstadt. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, gute und schnelle Kommunikation. Trotz kurzfristiger Reservation hat alles super funktioniert!
