Charming and very quiet hotel in the Costa de la Luz, situated in a historical house of the XVIII Cent. Offers you 15 rooms "en-suite", with terrace, fridge, TV, individual decoration with original paintings. The hotel is surrounded by nature and forest, has a pool, bar, restaurant. Some rooms have broad band access to internet and you can choose between double bed or twin beds. The "golden beaches" are only at 15 minutes drive.

Reviewed By BeeBee20152015Pros: The hotel I absolutely loved. Beautiful setting, comfortable spacious room with great bed, shower, fridge, windows with netting. The staff couldn't have been nicer, felt like they would genuinely do everything they could to help you. Lovely coffee and simple but v nice breakfast. Dovecote is v cool and lots of beatific art. Gorgeous area for walking around. Lovely courtyard and patio area at well as seating area and car parking. Cons: The pool is not in use. Restaurant closed. No bike hire. WiFi is terrible. Nightmare to get in and out of. A film crew staying who for the most part didn't affect us but sometimes annoying and dominating. With no restaurant and difficult getting into nearby places it made dinner difficult also not then set up to self cater. Had to keep going and asking to borrow plates cutlery and could only eat cold food for dinner in our room. No pool made much disappointment, felt a bit stuck either not much to do smd No Internet. No bikes.

We started in Barbate and checked 5 hostels/Casas/hotels before we found a room at El Capi. Run by Beatriz and her sister and a brother they and staff so friendly. Only downside about 15-20 mins walk to the beach and in the heat opted to drive there - lots of parking at Euro 3 Several restaurants within 5/10 mins walk but you cannot go wrong eating at El Capi

No balcony and clogged sink
Reviewed By 832LarsBI have stayed here before and I will mention it again. There is no balcony, only a french balcony, so You cannot sit outside... Hotel has been refurbished since I was here 3 years ago. The bed was actually really good. Airconditioning was working this time, but noisy, why I operated it when I left the room and turned it of when I arrived. The sink was clogged. Short distance to supermarked and beach, but some noise from the street.

Reviewed By PeteC711Good location, very clean room. However, no in hotel facilities were open apart from a vending machine. However there is a little supermarket 10 yards away. Cute little town with some lovely little bars and good prices. I stayed one night on my way to Mijas, would have been bored if I stayed any longer, nothing to do. Staff said hello, that was it. Room was cold but that may have been my fault. Shower a bit naff. However you pay fir what you get. If I ever go to that part of Spain ( which I doubt) I would use again.

Wonderful stay in a perfect small, family hotel
Reviewed By Yvonne MWe had a delightfulweek's stay in this clean and pristine little hotel. Although frequent visitors to Canos, we'd never stayed there before. Our room was fairly small but compensated with a huge balcony. It was located on the corner of the hotel so enjoyed fabulous views of the sea andbeaches on either side whilst being perfectly located to enjoy the sunset. Parking across the road was very convenient and nice restaurants were within an easy walk. Everything in the room worked and all the staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our continental breakfast, sitting outside and served at the table. Good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants, just enough for us.

This traditional Andalusian building has spacious bedrooms and some come with an exterior terrace or balcony. All rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi access. The Alhambra Hotel is located 3 km from the pretty fishing village of Caños de Meca. The towns of Barbate, Conil and Vejer are 10 minutes away by car. A comfort stay with a great pool
Reviewed By AngeliqueHollandWe really enjoyed staying here and even booked a night extra. The room is comfy and clean. The swimming pool was very nice. One of the woman at the desk didn't talk english but she still managed to explain where we could find some restaurant. Since it was off season there weren't so many restaurants open in Zahora, but there was still enough to find. We had a car and went to Cadiz and Gibraltar. And also went to Conil and Vejer de la Frontera, which were beautiful white villages where we had lunch and diner. The beaches in Zahora and the next villages were very nice and beautiful. Overall a great place to stay to visit cities in the neighbourhood.

Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace filled with plants and flowers - a great way to start the day! Free parking is a real bonus. Wifi connection was somewhat patchy in the room but perfect on the downstairs terrace area. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Location is perfect - easy walk to great restaurants in either direction and the beach. Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

We came on the off season so there were was only one other guest while we were there. It was peaceful and calm. We noticed that the town had a few vagabond type people walking around here and there. nut overall it was a very pleasant stay near the beach with nice hiking trails nearby and a big grocery store in the nearby town.

La habitación es confortable y la cama muy cómoda, pero estuvimos dos noches y una de ellas, apenas pudimos dormir a causa de un problema con el aire acondicionado. Intentaron arreglarlo pero seguía haciendo mucho ruido y goteando agua, así que Antonio decidió cambiarnos a una nueva habitación. Buen detalle por su parte. La habitación que nos dieron esta vez, el baño era más espacioso y la ducha con ello más grande. La limpieza muy bien, con medidas anti-Covid, como por ejemplo el sellado del minibar o el empaquetado de los mando tanto de TV como del aire acondicionado con la fecha de desinfección. Dispone de una pequeña piscina, donde relajarte. Decorada con gusto.
