Reviewed By Ian bStayed here as an over night stop on route back to ferry. Just a couple of miles from the motorway. Comfy beds. Great showers. Clean and tidy. Good parking. Centre of village ideal for local restraunts and shops.

Reviewed By SheffieldPipWe stayed at El Molino on our journey down to the Costa del Sol. We normally stay in nearby Hervas, but decided on a change of venue. We booked through Booking.com, but when we got there felt that we weren't given the room we booked through the agency. This was very difficult to get through to the receptionist, as she didn't speak English and I have limited Spanish. After much discussion, she decided to relocate us to the room we had booked. It was a very pretty, well furnished room, but found sleep quality bad, as the walls were very thin. Not for us!

An unexpected good value place to stay en route to the south
Reviewed By gingerfranceWe were tired and needed to stop- nothing booked so we took a chance! What a pleasure to find such a fun place. Yes it is a bit tired but the welcome is great and you won't quarrel with the price. We were upgraded to two apartments which had balconies and lovely views over the valley. They were clean and comfortable. Dinner was served with a smile and the menu features meat raised by the owner and the wine Chuletillas de Cordero was delicious. A path from the hotel leads directly to the village and if you walk down in the morning you will see the owner tending his livestock. Happy pigs, rabbits and goats. The hotel is undergoing renovation and hopefully this won't change the soul of this place.

Reviewed By Caroline TWe stopped off here on our travels through Spain. What a fabulous place to stay, the rooms were spotless and the whole place so wonderfully quaint. The breakfast was excellent and we also had great tapas in the bar next door at the recommendation of our host. All in all a truly charming.

Reviewed By samsung131Good location, just off the A66 motorway in Mid Spain. Ideal stop when travelling between the North & South coasts. Plenty of facilities, pool, kids games etc (in season), restaurant & snack bar onsite and also a small supermarket. Bungalows well appointed & equipped, central heating, small kitchen area and your own private terrace. Dogs allowed at 5 euros a night. Reception was closed when we arrived. Website said we could get in at 3pm, but reception was closed until 5pm. Patchy service in the restaurant, evening staff were very good, but at breakfast the next day, the staff seemed far more interested in chatting to the locals at the bar than serving their guests

Kind of a step back in time
Reviewed By John SBetween the fairly old clientele headed for their spa or soak and the general feel of the hotel and town, it seems like you’ve fallen into a nice time warp taking you back a few decades. The service and food were both very good. Only complaint was that the shutters on the windows clattered all night which made for a fitful sleep. Room was comfortable, if a bit small. Note to walkers - the entire town shuts down (like many Spanish towns) from 2-5 and there is no way to purchase anything. Breakfast was pretty good in that there was ample fruit, a variety of meats, and several juices.
