It was disappointing that the cocktail lounge was closed, but the Outback near by has a bar. The breakfast at this hotel is inedible. Luckily there is a Casey's within a 2 minute walk.

Also the distance to night life rather that be entertainment or places to eat is extremely nice. Only complaint I would have is the comforter is to heavy. Need to have a option that isn’t so thick.

One night stay
Reviewed By Tricia CHotel appeared newer or remodeled. Room was clean and updated. Hotel allowed us to do a late checkout which worked well for our schedule so that was awesome. Only two negatives...hotel needs to invest in some new towels. Towels looked cheap and were thin. Also seems we paid same price but no real breakfast. Price should drop if we’re not getting breakfast as hotel is saving money on those expenses.

As a Diamond member, I was disappointed not only that my status was never acknowledged, but that I had to ask for water and my snack and was told that I could only have the water due to COVID. However, I could BUY a snack from the little store in the lobby.... The downstairs is nice but the rooms need updated. I requested housekeeping but they did not make or change my bed because I had my pjs on the bed. There was a note saying they wouldn't touch the bed because items were on it. I have been all over the world, even during COVID, and this is not regular practice. If this is the hotel's policy it needs to be stated to guests when housekeeping is requested. The evening social is also now only on Wednesday so that is also disappointing.

Reviewed By Luke KWe stopped here for a quick overnight stay and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was excellent with hot sausage and a make your own pancake machine. Room was good, location was good, amenities had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Would not stay here again
Reviewed By stmick01Comfort Inn and Suites Delaware Ave- would not stay here again. The check in staff was incredibly rude to the point that we almost left despite have prepaid for our room. The breakfast options were very limited. The room was fine, outdated, but not dirty, so I guess that’s a plus. Honestly, the front desk guy ruined the stay.

Unexpected visitor at midnight and terrible handling after
Reviewed By blackhawks22When staying at a hotel, you don’t expect to be awoken at midnight with someone literally walking into the room. But that is what happened on 5/13/22 when we stayed there. After a long trip driving, heading to pick up our son from college, we were looking forward to getting some rest. About midnight, we hear someone walking into our room. Door was definitely locked and only one key (ours) was issued. Person who walked in, left seconds after realizing there was a family sleeping in the room. Next morning, during checkout, I asked what happened. Apparently they had a situation and had security taking a walk through some rooms. They didn’t realize our room was occupied. So the lady offered to refund our one night stay. Now, on May 16 i received an email from L. Lanphier, hotel manager. She asked me to contact her. But the phone number provided was not in service. So i emailed her back and never heard from her again. Stuff happens. But in the hospitality business, you have to make it right. This hotel failed the night of our stay and after. It’s places like this that give Marriott brand a bad name.
