Very good environment. Middle of jungle. So many activities and bonfire and candle light dinner. Simply amazing. Highly recommend. Good for everyone.

Great home base for exploring the wonderful nature
Reviewed By O6545QMbbUnfortunately, we only spent one night in the beautiful accommodation. The house is located in the middle of nature a little above the centre, it is easy to walk there. We have been warmly welcomed with cake and had a spacious, clean room with balcony. We would have liked to stay longer, thank you very much.

He arranged scooters, transport and even offer free rides to the center/taxi post for transfer to mirissa. Also present us will welcome drinks and fruit. The breakfast was delicious too! The rooms were very clean and spacious. I hope we can move his business forward in the coming times..he and his mom truly deserve it! If you are reading this..congrats from the truly impressed portuguese couple ??

Reviewed By LucaRoby10I stayed here for 5 extraordinary days.....Sunil, the host, his wife and two sons they are good, beautiful and special people. Every day spent here was like a holiday in paradise. Sunil is an excellent guide and knows the whole region very well, we were together in some beautiful places that are hard to find even on the map. In terms of accommodation, if you like peace and nature, this is the ideal place. Nice room ,cabana style, nice bed, and the view from the room and terrace was stunning. So....From taking me to see all the sights, and preparing me with the most delicious home cooked food you can imagine, they really made this trip for me. Not to mention, the little self contained room and bathroom has everything you could need with a great dining spot over looking the valley. Perfect for sunrise brekkie and sunset dinner. I will definitely be back here.....

Reviewed By Arielle TWe had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Amila's. The place is a pleasant, 25-30 minute walk along the train tracks (itself a fun adventure, and part of the normal walk to Ella rock) or a 400-500 rupee Tuk Tuk ride from Ella town. His home is located on a quiet hillside tucked in his garden full of coffee, banana, and papaya trees. The rooms have covered decks that are perfect for taking breakfast or enjoying a beer in the evening. The breakfast provided is copious and delicious. We loved watching the birds and the squirrels in the mornings. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. His wife can provide a tasty, home-cooked, Sri Lankan meal, without so much chili if desired---for 800 rupees per person. Amila's family is lovely and will do everything they can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We had excellent communication before our stay, and he picked us up from the bus in a nearby town, and helped us to the train station as we left. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By babaalocation- up the hills, close to Kitaella rail station.. nice breakfast view.. away from all hustles & bustles on the main street .. some enjoyable quiet times room- simple, spacious, though no air condition, the air was cool in the Feb. evenings up in the hills.. ... bugs do come in after dark, but nothing harmful or invasive, I was even greeted by a bunch of fireflies on my 1st night overall: pretty good breakfast made by the owner, nice view in the hills to chill.. u can either tread up the hills for 20+min.. or just grab a tuk tuk..

Fantastic place to stay in Ella

The host and his family were welcoming and accommodating and his young daughter had even made a handwritten guide on what tourist attractions to do in Ella. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious and the rooms were immaculate and with everything we needed including a hot shower, a fan etc. Location was great. We could walk into Ella town along the railway track and the view was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Reviewed By 97thijsvVerblijf: Het zijn ruime schone kamers. Wij hadden een kamer met een fan. Dit is goed genoeg. Er hangt ook een klamboe dus je kan zonder muggenbeten wakker worden. Verder is de badkamer ruim en mooi. Het water was bij ons lauw. Op zich prima als je daar aan gewend bent geraakt:) Locatie: Nature's Glow home Stay is een home Stay die redelijk verstopt zit als je er voor de eerste keer zelf heen rijdt (eigen Tuc Tuc). Echter is het super simpel. Je rijdt waterfall road op vanaf de mainstreet van Ella en dan blijf je de weg volgen. De weg is niet super maar wel te doen. Uiteindelijk zie je het parkeerterrein van de homstay aan de linkerkant. Zie foto. Ontbijt: Ontbijt is ruim voldoende met een verse juice, fruit, broodjes jam boter etc. Ook krijg je thee en je kan zelf aangeven bij haar hoelaat je het ontbijt wilt. Ideaal als je uit wilt slapen of juist op tijd op pad gaat. Zie foto voor het ontbijt. Diner: Avond eten is ook zeker mogelijk. Lekker lokaal eten met meer dan genoeg voor twee. Je kan aangeven of je het spicy wilt of niet. Afstand tot het centrum van Ella: Het is goed te doen als je geen hekel aan lopen hebt. Anders is een Tuk Tuk ook een optie. Lopen is ongeveer 15 min. Gewoon dezelfde weg volgen waar je vandaan gekomen bent. Ook al hadden wij een eigen Tuk Tuk hebben wij gewoon altijd gelopen. Prima te doen. Voor savonds kan je een lampje meenemen. Grotendeels is verlicht maar er zijn ook kleine stukken met minder verlichting aanwezig. In het centrum heb je een main street met veel restaurantjes. Kijk op TripAdvisor waar je zin in hebt. Ook zijn er genoeg winkeltjes om te shoppen.
