Wonderful rest in the quiet part of the resort of Jurmala. Cosy and elegant Katrin apartments are perfectly suited both for individual travellers, group of friends and families with children. Every apartment is fully equipped with everything travellers need. Comfortable and modern interior will make you feel home away from home.
Convenient apartment but no frills. Very close to beach
Reviewed By laughlovetravelwineWe stayed in a two bedroom with balcony. The apartment was what we expected. No frills. Beds were a bit hard and pillows too hard too for my liking. The bathroom had a washing machine. But it felt very basic. Not bad, but not luxurious either. They had dishwashing soap and hand soap but nothing else. So bring shampoo and conditioner if you need it as well as laundry detergent. The location is very very good. There’s a bio market across the street, many restaurants and cafes within a short walk and very close to the beach.

Reviewed By whirlwindexplorerLarge, spacious apartment. Well furnished and cheerful. Great location - right in the heart of old town. Good kitchen facilities. Bathroom had heated flooring. Good breakfast spread. Negatives : Collecting the keys from St Peter's Boutique hotel was a bit problematic. They gave us wrong directions and asked us to turn Right from Kongu Street while it should have been Left. Caused us a lot of inconvenience. Apartment on the 4th Floor with no elevator. Lugging all the baggage to the 4th floor and getting it down again was a challenge. Also, each time we went out, climbing up and down 4 floors was a deterrent for not-so-young couples like us. Also, the staircase was dark and a bit scary with the sensor lights working only sporadically.

Bella Jurmala Hotel is a modern and comfortable hotel at affordable prices, located in a small cottage settlement, surrounded by forest, on the banks of the Lielupe River, a 30-minute walk from the sea beach. We occupy 3 buildings, in which there are 26 rooms of various capacity (from 1 to 4 people), 12 one bedroom apartments and 4 two bedroom duplexes. We provide free secure parking, a gym, a sauna, a children's playground, a conference and banquet room, a bicycle rental service, a library, a picnic area with barbecue facilities, a garden with outdoor furniture, a roof terrace with sun deck chairs. Our hotel is suitable for staying with children and is pet friendly.
Not for elderly people, simply NO WAY !!
Reviewed By Bronius ŽRoom was about 2x4 meters without a bathroom and WC - they say guests get so called shared bathroom, the thing is you need to share four or five bathrooms with all the guests in the so called hotel. In fact, it could't be named as hotel, hostel the best scenario, and this is it. Yes, it is quite clean, new, but imagine any bathroom at the end of the day even if guests try to keep it clean. For those (my case) who need to take a visit to the bathroom during the night sleep it is simply a disaster.

The space: Apartment furnished in modern style with air conditioner, smart TV and IPTV, fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. Apartment has two bathrooms, one with bath. Guest access: For your convenience one bedroom apartment (second floor apartments with balcony), living room and kitchen, two bathrooms, one free parking space per apartment and outside BBQ. Also on request available iron with iron board, vase for flowers, BBQ accessories, high chair and bed-playpen for small ones. Interaction with guests: On check in you will have my phone number and if you have any queries please don’t hesitate to host. The neighborhood: Apartments located within walking distance to the Baltic Sea beach, one minute to the Jomas street and 19km away from the Riga International airport. On Jomas street you will find restaurants, gift shops, pharmacy and household appliances shop. Getting around: Free parking located beside apartments and public transport available in walking distances from the apartments block.

Reviewed By Terhi LIf we came back to Jurmala we'd definitely choose this accommodation. The location is just perfect: Jomas iela - the main walking street with all shops and restaurant - is just around the corner. The beach and the sea is not far. You'd just only need to walk 5 minutes and you're there. The building is fairly new, the rooms are big, there are to toilet seats, kitchen area, one bedroom and a balcony. you can see that its new and its decorated with a taste. The owner of the building is very helpful and nice.

Friendly host, good stay with kids
Reviewed By RBerzanskieneWe stayed for 8 nights at this place on the 2nd floor in the main house. The apartment was clean and the house seems newly renovated. The location is quite and is 6 min to the sea and 20 min to Jomas Str. There are bikes you can get and a table tennis in the basement also a small gym. The property has a big courtyard which makes convenient to stay with kids. Quite convenient kitchen. If you go to Rimi shopping center, please be aware that while coming back from Rimi Google Map is showing wrong info and there is not possible to turn from Vienibas Str. to Edinburgs prospects. The police is often there and the fine is EUR 30.

Есть дворик со столом и стульями, где можно проводить вечер за шашлыками. Мы жили большой группой и чувствовали себя здесь, как дома. Вай-Фай хороший. К моменту заселения не все номера были готовы. В некоторых номерах можно добавить уюта.

Adequate 2.5* accommodation
Reviewed By Rudolf HStayed there 9 days together with my wife. After entering into the building you can feel and "smell" the history of it. It is older building with massive walls and stairs, no lift there and it is located in a quiet area. All the facilities are clean. The room was of normal size with fully equipped kitchen, small facility with shower and WC and with sleeping/living area. There is a carpet on the floor in the room, but the original wooden floor is creaky and makes different noises while walking on it. The furniture is of older age, it is functional, but should be replaced by the newer one. Also the materaces in the beds should be replaced - they are old with iron springs inside. The shower room is really small. There is a boiler for water heating, so no problems with water temperature or pressure. If something is missing, go directly to the reception, they´ll fullfil your needs. Just few steps away from building there is a big supermarket where you can buy everything you need for youe existence. Connection with a city center is provided by tram (the stop is about 400m far) and it tooks about 15 minutes to National opera station (closest to the old town center). If you want to take a taxi to/from the airport, the ride takes cca 20 minutes and costs about 20€. If you don´t want to spend too much money for your stay and don´t need to be located in the city center, it is a good location for you.

The service was first class and the apartment was just fantastic. Best place to stay in Riga if you require a luxury apartment at non luxury prices
