Clean apartments with great (ocean) view
Reviewed By R7229LUchrisoWe had an excellent vacation the last week of March. The appartments are very good priced and kept very clean. The location is also perfect. Near by airport, beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The appartment it self is simple but spacious and equiped with the most important. Only thing we missed a bit was a coffee table near the couch. The hotel it self is nice and quiet, but the nearby airport makes it a bit noisy especially in the weekend

Hotel El Galeón is located on a privileged quiet place at the south boundary of the town, and it is easily recongnizable by the brick-red coloured building with a curved front. Thanks to this situation, the access to main road is close by, and the street on which the hotel lies sees little traffic. It offers the best starting point for guests looking to visit the town´s main streets as well as the shopping areas. It takes only a 10 minute walk to the main bus stop at the entrance of the historic old town. The inside car park has a direct access to the apartments, while up on top a sun terrace has commanding views of the port and hills. Due to the outstanding location, some apartments have also panoramic views.

Reviewed By IshbelRMost amazing breakfasts- best ever, with homemade cakes and quiches alongside bacon and eggs, fruit, wonderful cheeses and ham. Very comfy large apartment with balcony. 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of town and the bus network. Charming helpful staff.

Reviewed By Jade BMy friend & I were nicely surprised by this lovely place. Our apartment was spacious, sunny and very clean with a balcony and ocean view. Each morning I could watch the sunrise from my bed or balcony, wonderful experience! Breakfast was another nice surprise; served from 7:30 till 10:30 so really plenty of time for everyone. Coffee machine, various coffees, teas, juice and milk, cereals, brown & white bread, cheese, ham, jam, yogurts, fresh fruit (oranges, apples, pears, bananas) served every morning, also biscuits and some wrapped cakes. All this for £3 a day! Nobody would complain for that price! Staff so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely, really nice receptionists, cleaners changing towels and cleaning apartment every day. We can only say a big Thank You for making our stay so nice experience ? Location great too, on the edge of town but very close to centre. Quiet apartments, quiet location and the only we could hear at night or early morning it was ocean waves. Relaxing, pleasant and comfortable accommodation for very reasonable price, surely worth of recommendation.

Reviewed By Janice FVery quiet & peaceful, not a lot happening & older clientele , a car maybe a must ? Or just walk ....shops are there if you need them. Restaurant food locally ,is very good too. As are supplies if staying in an apartment.

Lovely Relaxed Holiday
Reviewed By Jackie GThis is a simple hotel, very clean and great value for money. The view from our room was wonderful we could almost reach out and touch the sea. We arrived early and were greeted by very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Within an hour of landing we had checked in and were sat by pool watching our plane take off. Would really recommend this hotel for those that like to relax and enjoy their own company

Reviewed By Bokkiewokkie1968We stayed here for a week. Not a lot of luxury but that's something you don't need when your on La Palma. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Nice swimming pool and barbeque area. Because it's not near any shops they also arranged a baker to come by every morning.

Reviewed By 256graemebQuite a nice Apartment, we've definitely had worse, & a little bit more TLC & this could be pushing 5* Nicely laid out, though the bedroom is to tight for 2 single beds, a double would be better, & Wardrobe doors need sorting as 1 of them is jammed solid. Shower room was very good, but water pressure in the mornings made having a shower, Challenging! Kitchen was adequate, well enough equipped, though a plug for the sink would make washing up easier. Lounge area & sofa are comfortable. Patio area ok. Pool area kept clean & tidy. We had a good 8 nights here, but won't be returning.

A pleasant 6 night stay

Good to have a bedroom & a bathroom each & the log fire although we had to ask for firewood then I collected my own from the woods after my walks! Plus as there were no chairs infront of the fireplace I moved one of the armchairs so I could sit infront of the fire to enjoy it more! Maybe it was the time of year but the apartment seemed a little dark & chilly. Shame the bedrooms do not have an outside view. Instead you can enjoy the view from the bathrooms plus of course the conservatory!!! The apartment was very spacious & well equipped although I had to ask for a bottle opener for the bottle of local wine we were offered on arrival which was a lovely gesture & I noticed there was an ironing board but no iron but I didn't do any ironing on this occasion! We were disappointed we didn't have an outside area. I understood from the booking we would either have a balcony or a outside terrace as most of the apartments seem to have. However we did have a lovely view from our conservatory. Although there were plenty of sunbeds by the pool & in another area outside there were no tables or chairs where we could have sat outside if we wanted to sit upright rather than in a reclining sunbed! The lady who did the cleaning was very helpful. We only met Jose when we arrived but I emailed a couple of times during our stay & received very prompt replies/service which was much appreciated. The location was quite convenient for touring around the island, walks & only 30 minutes drive to the airport.We had a couple of tasty meals in the nearby restaurants of Carmen & Frangipani. All in all we had an enjoyable stay. Thank-you.

Propietarios pendientes en todo momento de cualquier duda o necesidad de sus huéspedes. Los apartamentos están equipados con todo lo que se pueda necesitar y más. Camas muy cómodas con nórdicos calentitos, bonita decoración, tv en todas las estancias con netflix, wifi perfecto, llegada autónoma con una aplicación en el móvil, limpieza impecable... Muchas gracias Miguel, por una estancia muy agradable.
