Amazing view with "hmmm" value
Reviewed By tttttinacThe view was truly amazing, but I'm not sure if this 3-star facility and service is worth NTD 10000 for a quadruple room. However, it's spacious, and provides almost all the amenities that you might need, including a heater/A/C, water boiler, small refrigerator in the room, and there area water found, coffee machine, and a microwave in the lobby, open 24-hour. Location wise, it is convenient as 5-10 minutes walk to 7-11 and restaurants (which mostly close around 6-7 pm). WARNING! If your car is 1500 c.c. or bigger, you should be prepared that you have to get out of the car from the other side as the parking space is so tiny that you are not able to get in your car if there are cars parking on both sides next to your car. We were able to manage not to move the car after parking at checking in, so we didn't encounter the problem that we have to ask the car owners next to us to move. I understand that the space is really limited and if we want better a parking lot, we could park downhills, instead of in front of the hostel. The part I don't understand is that, however, why the property owner don't disclose this information in advance, either on the website or when we booked it, which makes it suspicious that the owner/ management team hold this fact on purpose. We have been to other hostels with even more difficult parking, which the owners did tell us about it in advance. Also, they forgot that we asked for one extra bed; if you want additional beds, don't forget to remind them again in advance. another minor negative part is that i don't think the cleaning is very thorough as we found previous guests' stuff under the bed, not in the very end close to the wall or in the center hard to reach, but very close to the edge, which should be easy to find if they've ever clean the floor under the beds. 民宿本身的景觀非常棒，但是櫃台人員的服務以及車位安排是致命傷。 車位非常狹窄，若您的車為一般房車 (1500 c.c.以上)，民宿所劃的車位就是要駕駛由副駕駛門爬出，而一旦車兩邊都有停車的話，是無法開門移動車的! 請注意!! 步行5-10分鐘可達7-11以及大部分的餐廳，但是有上下坡道，可能對於行動不方便者不甚便利。 個人覺得景觀非常棒，單就景觀而言，可以給五顆星。但是以四人房近10000元房價，恐怕只有四顆星，若再加上打掃的清潔度、櫃台人員的反應及服務、設備等，就是三星了。 [清潔度] 床底下有樂高也有撲克牌，顯然是前房客留下來，而且都在很靠近床邊，並不是難打掃的地方。 [設備] 蓮蓬頭水力很弱 [櫃台人員服務] 雖然有網站預定功能，但實際上辦理入住時還是以紙本為主，資訊上傳遞有誤差；所以本來有加床這部分漏掉了，當下才補加床；但補加床後備品也忘了給。 辦理入住的兩位櫃檯人員詢問之下為新人，所以對辦理入住的手續不是很熟悉，同樣的資訊會反覆問兩三次。 以上都是希望可以改善，但瑕不掩瑜的小問題。然而本次令人最不開心、改善前也絕對不會推薦給親友的原因在於，服務人員遇到"抱怨"或"住客反應問題"時的回應態度。 抵達辦理入住時，一位男性服務人員引導停車，並強調必須一定要停在格線內。停妥後跟櫃台反應，停車位的設計需要改善，因為車停進去，駕駛必須從副駕門爬出來；男性服務人員以充滿防禦心地口吻強調他的口氣沒有"那麼"不好，並且解釋因為今日客滿，所以再次強調必須停進格線內，不然會停不下所有的車。根本的問題是"我們想要反應這個停車位的劃線有問題"這個客觀的事實，而不是"你的口氣很差" (這也是事實，但口氣好不好也是很主觀，而我的家人當下口氣也不是很友善，就不多著墨了)。車位劃不好並不是他的錯，我們並沒有怪他，怪員工並不能讓老闆改善。我不明白這位前台人員為什麼反覆跳針強調自己口氣沒有很差，而不是接受我們提出希望可以改善車位劃法的問題；就算空間不能改，也可以針對問題回應現實空間就是不夠、無法改，而不是把問題重點放到自己身上、為自己辯護"口氣不好"這件事。如果他可以針對問題不要轉移焦點，那麼也不會造成這樣的爭執。過程中也有詢問，是否曾有客人抱怨過停車位的問題，男性服務人員說有；那請問是經營者擺爛不解決嗎? 再者，如果是無法解決的問題，為什麼不在預定住宿或是官網上應該提醒欲預訂者呢? 當我入住前詢問有沒有飲水機，回應時就附加民宿不可以烹煮這樣無關的資訊，更讓人不禁聯想是否是刻意隱瞞車位這個缺點? 我們家人都從事過前台服務業，也不想要因為這樣的事害人失了工作。我猜想老闆/經營者可能有再三跟員工強調"一定要住客把車停在停車格線內 (還非常重要講三次之類的)，所以身為員工也只好使命必達。如果要說我們是奧客，就是奧客吧! 但是這位男性員工如果無法接受客戶反應負面的客觀問題，要把負面的評價都變成是針對他而來，而不是主動去"解決問題"，也許服務業並不是最適合他的行業，畢竟我們可能是第一組與他有爭執的客人，但絕對不會是最後一組。服務業不是把民宿大廳的設備使用規則念完就好了；不僅要為客人解決使用你們服務時的問題；更應該在客人提出問題前，解決問題。

A gem of a minsu nestled in the Lalashan mountains
Reviewed By shipoffoosOn our first ever visit to Taiwan, we were in search of a peaceful retreat in the mountains, and Fuyam Tourist Home was all that and more. Host Brian was prompt and helpful in all our communications prior to booking and recommended us the Liyuan room, a charming, spacious upper unit in a two-storey block. A driver was hired to fetch us from Taoyuan Airport, and as part of a tour package with the minsu he took us to Daxi Old Town and Xiaowulai falls on the way up to Lalashan. On the second day, we visited Shenmu and other sights. Highlights of the minsu stay: the beautifully landscaped surroundings, the mountain view from our room and a truly outstanding breakfast and dinner with (other guests have also said this) no repeat dishes. Take tea in the tea lodge or read and relax in the lounge. Brian, Zhong Ma, Zhong Pa and the staff are genuinely welcoming and will make you feel right at home. We had a wonderful three days in perfect, sunny, 18degC weather.

Reviewed By Julietttkao第一次來訪， 我們在玻璃屋用餐， 家族聚會， ㄧ行人十幾人， 大夥兒隨便點一點， 就破萬了， 餐飲消費金額不便宜， 婆婆讓我們家買單， 買完後發現， 它的消費金額雖然很高， 可是如果是自己家的下午茶聚會， 它的CP值其實很高， 因為後山春天可以賞櫻，夏天可以賞楓， 和有一個登山小步道， 小山坡可以滑草， 除了玻璃屋餐廳， 用餐區錯落在繁花似錦的歐式花園中， 甚至還有一座小噴泉和一堆小雕像， 老闆娘說， 閒閒沒事就自己種花， 整座主建築被五顏六色的花朵所包圍， 讓人整個少女心噴發， 主建築走歐式鄉村風， 整棟房子都是乾燥花， 種花並玩花藝 老闆娘的用心， 在每一個小細節， 不管是佈置或食材， 所以我們常常在普拉多窩上整個下午， 老闆娘的手藝很棒， 食物上桌永遠新鮮又美味， 讓我們ㄧ次又一次地再回來！ 大推！

Great hotel for the price
Reviewed By ssfmomoRoom and the common areas were relatively clean and modern. Front desk was patient and nice and will happily call a taxi if requested to. The building where the hotel is in is a bit sketchy, but the area still felt very safe. Price was very reasonable.

Fantastic scenery and surreal experience
Reviewed By sonia-r-sungI came with my parents and my sister. We arrived and received a warm welcome. The scenery was beautiful! The hotel is on the mountain, overlooking mountains on three sides and a curvy river in between. The property is beautifully designed with a big open room for the breakfast dining and many small rooms for small group dining. You can enjoy the beautiful view in any of the dining rooms. There is also a special area for semi camping experience with two mobile trailers and outdoor table and chairs. The entire property is open for all the hotel guests to enjoy. There are also karaoke room and BBQ area. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel owner and service person went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. For example, we drove a car that is not for mountain climbing. They made an arrangement to pick up part of our group to get there so that our car can manage to climb up to the property. It is a great place to go if you like to enjoy the Taiwan mountain and river scenery with a comfortable space to enjoy and relax. The B&B provides free breakfast, and they have lunch and dinner menu for you to order. It is truly enjoyable and the dollars are well-worth it. One thing to note: the road to the hotel has a steep climb. You will need to have a car that has enough horse power.
