Home cooked food is so tasty and filling and the beach is to die for. We normally visit a place only once but having booked twice we are definitely booking again for June next year. What a place and What a family.

Sandy bottom in the sea Very good restaurant and delicious extensive breakfast. Private parking in front of the hotel for fee. Reception is not always occupied. Since we were there in September, for example, our shower curtain had the best times behind it and the drainage was a bit slow when draining. Was changed or fixed immediately after we reported this to the front desk. PS Uber works excellent to go into the old town

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, the location is absolutely perfect for a stay away from city chaos but still close enough to travel in. The beach is about 50m from the reception making every morning feel like paradise. The host was the kindest and most welcoming lady we had come across in a very long time. She gave great advice and sorted us with taxi without any problems. Phenomenal stay ! Defiantly worth a visit.

Reviewed By Ruben VWhen we arrived Mila gave us very nice welcome (Make sure you can speak a little German , she doesn't understand English exept for Yes and no ) The rooms were very clean, very tidy with quite the comfort. The bathroom is quite small but nothing to complain about. The breakfast is 5 star material, everything is served with a view on the sea. Podstrana is a nice village outside of split (30 min bus drive , 13 kuna pp). make sure you visit the beaches and The harbour! Thank you Mila for everything

Reviewed By Gug123We arrived by car and struggled to find the reception area for Gala Split. We asked a cleaner who informed us that the main reception is in the San Antonio which is next door. The check in was quick. We were surprised with an upgrade to the San Antonio in their best suite, which had a jacuzzi! It was lovely. Sea views are to die for. The beach is pebbles so slightly uncomfortable but private and quiet. The restaurant is reasonably priced and very good quality! Overall a VERY lovely hotel.

Reviewed By JFLYWStaff=extremely polite and friendly Security=I felt that all my belongings were safe and secure at all times. View= spectacular view of island brac and solta. Location=just next to split, I believe it is called podstrana. Just over the area is a gorgeous village also believed to be called podstrana. It is a must see, the view from that village allows you to see most of all the main islands from Croatia. Beach= I don't understand why people are saying that the nearest beach is 15 min away when there is literally a pebble beach with a cafe bar right accross... ( less then 2min walk). Technology=WiFi fully operational in the rooms and TV aswell. Overall, it surely isn't a 5 star hotel but it definitely deserves the merit of a great place when it comes to price,safety and location. The son was extremely friendly and does speak English. As for his father, he seems to be extremely friendly, only if it wasn't for the language barrier, I'm sure it would have been even more pleasant. I strongly recommend this establishment.

Reviewed By griffgmgEverything, the location is perfect, 5 minute walk down to the beach with restaurants and bars. The breakfast is great, a good spread of cheeses, meats, bread, fruit, juice, coffee and eggs made however you want them. But more than anything, the friendliest people that run it, family run and great service. The owner gives you all the info you need about the area and does everything they can to accommodate you. Also very clean, new towels everyday. And the pick up and depart transfer to and from airport by members of the family who are also very friendly and helpful. For the price too, this place is amazing and we will be coming back. Lastly we met some lovely people who were also staying there and we had a great time sitting with them and the owners for a few drinks when we came back from dinner one night. English, French, German and Croatians all at one table singing and laughing. Brilliant. Thank you Villa Senator!!!!! See you next year.
