Reviewed By 果甫 石The room was very pretty decoration,very clean but there is no fridge in the room so we asked them that they can lend us to small part into the fridge of kitchen just moment, they said 'It takes 10euro'. Also,our check-in time at 14pm but we had wait until 16pm because they didn't preparation room and they never said 'sorry'. The breakfast was 12euro/each that we though it's cheep price for breakfast.However,the meal from super market (ex, the ready-made on the table...etc) it was not really really beautiful. We think, you never getting stress, good cost performance and better pay 1000euro a night for Hotel Ritz or Le Meurice in Paris than rest this hotel par 300euro a night.

Different...in a good way
Reviewed By MK16003Stayed here for one night en route to Calais. The hotel is in a small village and stands in very attractive gardens. We had a room (or rooms) on the first floor of the main house which were huge and quite quirky - consisting of a large bedroom with enormous bed, good sized bathroom with power shower, another big room with a free standing bath and a balcony overlooking the rear gardens. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel and this was excellent with a good choice of dishes for a reasonable price. Breakfast the next day was also very tasty. We were able to park inside the gates but there is also parking available just across the road. Wi-Fi is strong and the owners were very helpful. A really nice change from chain hotels at a reasonable cost.

The change of scenery is guaranteed with meadows and woods, thorough-bred horses galloping around.

The castle is beautiful and has been restored by the owners with the utmost care in the choice of furniture, materials and colors. We also had a pleasant and delicious dinner. Thanks to Pol and his wife for their great hospitality!

The cottage is located in an outbuilding of the main house.

Reviewed By SuperDuperSueSuch a shame we were only there for one night as our final destination was a fishing lake for several days fishing. Le Clos Floresine...entered through classic iron gates into a courtyard and met by our host. The house is huge and very very beautiful. Our room (chambre bleu) was light and airy with 2 huge windows that we could open and see the lovely gardens at the back..tastefully decorated, lovely bathroom, fresh towels and a big comfortable bed. You have breakfast in a room with stunning stained glass windows. Huge fresh croissants, fresh bread and jams and scrambled eggs. Tea or coffee was offered as well as fresh orange juice. It is not the cheapest place to stay (and probably not the most expensive either)but it is definitely worth it! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and even made our reservations at a local restaurant for us for our evening meal. Definitely recommend this beautiful place for a true 'taste' of France!

Reviewed By RolloR3An amazing location. Difficult to find the way in. No signage on the gates. No way to read the code for the gate when you find the gate. A long drive through the woods to get to the castle. But the castle is amazing. It has been rebuilt over a few years from a ruin. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A log fire in the sitting room. Nice bath. Great gardens. Friendly lady owner who can speak English. An experience, more than a night in a pad.

Reviewed By DiH711Got late tickets to Somme commemorations at Thiepval and needed accommodation. This was the nearest we could get but a great find. Lovely set up in middle of countryside. Very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and very friendly and welcoming owner.
