For a mid range, its not bad
Reviewed By Drew YStayed here for a night, didn't get to try their breakfast. Great location, great staff the let down might be their towel, look as if it hasn't been replaced since their opening. The bathroom need a little work to stay true to a 2.5 or 3 stars hotel.

A Nightmare Experience
Reviewed By Steve BI had 3 nights booked at this hotel. After an 18 hour train trip all I wanted to do was rest up in a nice clean bed. Unfortunately this hotel could not achieve this. I had a ground floor room at the front of the hotel. It was very noisy with people sitting on chairs outside the window talking. After 10pm they put down a steel shutter that covered the window and I was locked in. Unfortunately the airconditioner didn't work properly and ran at a dribble and I sweated in the room. The sink didn't work, no running water and the room was just plain grubby. When I went to go to bed I pulled back the bed clothes and I saw horrible black hairs on the sheets and they looked so grubby. Several sets of people must have slept in them but I was not going to. During the night I rang the Golden Hill Hotel and they picked me up from my room at 7am and took me to my new Hotel and I forfeited 2 nights accomodation costs. This is just the worst place I've ever stayed at. There is nothing good I can say except steer clear of the place.

Reviewed By 19T-K91I must say I feel the negative review on this article coming before me seems to expect a lot for a hotel in a remote trading city. This hotel is clean, comfortable and centrally located. It does however suffer from poor Internet situation - both in terms of WiFi and the hotel checking their bookings, despite paying in advance they still demanded money, however a phone call resolved this. Next up was a strong sewer smell from the bathroom and finally it's located just off a main road via an unlit alley. However the views are amazing, the staff try their best and have great connections - enabling my transfer to be 25% of the price of the original quote. Worth remembering that this is a remote, Chinese focused trading town, not used to tourists and this is a very cheap hotel at that.

Reviewed By J4939HJmichaelpThis is a typical budget hotel the likes of which can be found all over Myanmar and the rest of Southeast Asia. Nothing wrong with this property, yet nothing to rave about. The room was large and comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, the Wi-Fi worked well, no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful. At $28 USD via Booking.com, it's a bit expensive for what you get.
