We actually extended our stay an additional day so we could relax and enjoy the accommodations and the hosts. Everything was neat and tidy and clean. The bedding and linens very comfy and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We look forward to another stay at this majestic BnB!!

Brigitte's overlooks Kachemak Bay, the Kenai mountains and their glaciers. It is quiet here, at the end of the road. All rooms have a nice view from outside and within, private entry/porch and bath. Each contains a queen size bed and a twin. Books on Alaska are in each and there a fossils from the area. Walkways lead into the gardens. Hiking trails start from right outside the rooms.

Reviewed By FB685We stayed here one night. Immaculate lodging. Surrounded by gardens of flowers and berries. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Willie is a great source of information and local history. Even a resident bald eagle!

The best place to stay in Homer
Reviewed By 70avaWe found this place by chance, and we were amazed at the facilities and the warmth and hospitality of the couple running the place. Great views from their veranda, fragrant tea is offered all the time and you feel at home immediately. They will cook tasty dinners and breakfasts for you if you wish. Oh, and the price is very reasonable. I would not miss this place.

Old Motel, not worth staying here
Reviewed By Betty FThis is and old motel. With that being said it had no hair dryer, but it was clean. I would not recommend to stay in this place because it needs a lot of upgrading and even though I don’t think it is worth the money you pay and the location where it is. I recommend finding another hotel or even motel

We have five rustic, open concept cabins each with two queen beds, newly installed gas stove fireplace, kitchenette, private bathroom, and a porch with a gas grill. All cabins have an unobstructed view of Kachemak bay and the Kenai mountains with views of Ring of Fire volcanoes visible on clear days. Enjoy your stay with us cooking freshly caught Halibut from the Bay on your private grill or relax in the hot tub with the same breathtaking views as the cabins!

The pictures of the cabin really do not capture how beautiful the view is and how nice the cabin is. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We will be back. If anyone travels to Homar we highly recommend Alaskan Suites. We stayed at the Moose cabin.

Reviewed By Jrbsmom166We had a wonderful stay in the Bear Paw Studio. The apartment was clean and spacious. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast foods so we could make our own. A plus for me. The apartment was nicer than pictures show. We even had a moose come by.

Great choice
Reviewed By Charles SThis will most likely be our choice from now on when staying in Homer. Our only regret was that we had to leave from relaxing on the front lawn above the spit, to catch the Danny J to Halibut Cove. It’s the perfect choice in the two bedroom unit for two couples. Our kitchen was well stocked for breakfast. During covid times, takeout would work perfectly here. Liked having an outside entrance for our late night arrival. Probably the view and size are it’s best features.

Nestled just outside of Homer Alaska. Flat Fish Lodge is a Bed and Breakfast that overlooks stunning Kachemak Bay. A vast panorama of glaciers, mountains, and ocean await you. With plenty of private rooms, a large kitchen and dining area coupled with a beautiful lawn makes this the perfect place to have your wedding, host a reunion or company event. (Sleeps 20+ people!)
