Reviewed By SMP1212Booked it seeing the reviews. Was a bit concerned about the location. But once you step inside, it’s a whole another world. Lovely room decor. Good breakfast. There is a very economical above ground car park within 5 min if your car is too big. Not as central as some of the other hotels, but can walk to some really cool restaurants.

A great base for a whistle stop tour of Athens
Reviewed By Lucy JMyself and 2x friends have just returned from one night at the Acropolis Stay hotel. We arrived after 8.30pm but had great communication with the hotel prior to check in so knew exactly how to access the main hotel building and our room. We had a family apartment which consisted of 1x large double bed and 2x sofa beds, a small kitchenette with great amenities, a shower room and a small changing area and wardrobe space. Overall it was well presented, modern and most importantly spotless. We had pre booked out breakfast via email before arriving in Athens (as we were checking in after 8.30pm) and booked a 7.30 time slot At 7.30am on the dot there was a knock at the door with our breakfast, which we were able to enjoy around our small dining room table in the room. The location of the hotel is second to none: a quick 5 minute walk from the Acropolis/Parthenon ticket centre and just 15 minutes from the temple of Zeus and Olympic Stadium. As well as a great selection of bars and restaurants right in the door step! Victoria on reception helped us with Storing our bags and booking us a cab to the ferry port and ensured we kept enough time to board the ferry Overall a 10/10 stay!

They are such a lovely group of people who will go out of their way to make your stay the best possible and treat you like family. Anything you need help with, they are there to offer! I was travelling solo, so it was so nice to make time to chat with the team each day before I headed out. The breakfast was also amazing - homemade pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes etc. Lovely sea views from the spotless and beautiful rooms too, what more could you want?! Don’t stay anywhere else in the area, just stay here! Thank you to you all, I miss you already! :-)

Great staff, minimal lodging
Reviewed By Cindy RI wish someone had written an honest opinion on The Caravan before we spent two nights there. Thessaloniki is not an easy place to get to and when we arrived, we were very tired after a long train ride. The hotel is a glorified coffee shop with lots of young people studying in the lobby. This is fine if you are a young person looking for a cheap place to stay (although this was not particularly cheap). The lobby was crowded and unorganized and I honestly didn't know if I was in a hotel or a coffee shop. When we got checked in, we went up to our room on the 4th floor and it was about 95 deg in the room. The AC is not on unless the key is in the slot by the door. The room had a "veranda" which was a rooftop sauna with no shade and all the curtains were left open so it was miserable. I tried to call them to get another key so we could leave the AC running and go somewhere else so we didn't pass out from heat stroke but the phone didn't work. I honestly didn't know if it was a prop or a real phone since it was an old one with a dial. Found out later it was real - just didn't work - in fact didn't work the entire time we were there (yes - I did let them know immediately upon arrival). The room was very weird and very hostel like. Metal attached furniture, No shades on bulbs (felt like an interrogation room), only 2 pillows on the bed. They did have a "pillow menu" but we couldn't order any as our phone didn't work. Veranda furniture was disgusting. Obviously cushions were left out in the every rain, metal part was rusting, etc. There was zero shade (and it was hot!). There was an umbrella stand taking up part of the veranda but no umbrella to be found. Breakfast was good but they asked what you wanted and didn't quite adhere to that. They also asked if you wanted it delivered to your room and didn't quite do that either - we had to go down 4 floors, find our breakfast in the breakfast room and they then brought it up - which we had to eat quickly on our rapidly heating veranda. The room was so small there was no possibility of eating in there. I will say the staff tried very hard. My thinking is that no owners are onsite and the staff is contracted help and they have very little control over how the hotel is maintained (phones working, veranda furniture, general decor). They do their best and they were helpful in getting taxis. I honestly felt like I was in a dorm room and that was not the experience we were looking for at all.

Its difficult to motivate off the balcony as the views from the room could be a postcard and are hard to replicate. The location is tranquil and quiet yet close by to everything Fira has to offer. The restaurant recommendations from Maria were spot on and we were convinced that because she booked our reservations we got extra special treatment, great tables in the hottest restaurants with warm greetings and exceptional service. The hospitality at Asma is perfect, we loved the expresso maker & so without asking they overstocked our supplies so we were never without. Breakfast everyday delivered to the patio seats with such a warm hello started everyday off great. The experience is heavenly. Hot tub was spotless and clean. Santorini is a magical experience and Asma is an example of 5 star hospitality perfected by the whole team. Only wish is we could’ve stayed forever.

He helped us get around the island and was generous enough to offer us luggage storage after checkout and help us find a taxi to get to the ferry. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with helpful information about the island. As a group of girls we felt very safe and I highly recommend staying her if you visit Paros!

Reviewed By KatcariadThe Blue Suite was well worth the money. Spacious and a fabulous view of the Acropolis and Monastiraki Square. Well soundproofed even though it is under the roof top bar. Bathroom on the small side, but large shower (floor slippery). Staff very helpful and obliging. Roof top bar for breakfast was a great start to the day and the roof top bar for cocktails was a great end to the day. Highly recommend the location.

Reviewed By Marinaki8965as a repeater guest and student of business administration , this is an example #how to destroy a successful business #. we choose this hotel because of the quality used to offer, the excellent organization, the amazing and friendly service,instead of that we shocked as nothing was the same anymore. a bad feeling in the atmosphere from the beginning, a resort looked abandoned,,a pool with no water ,dirty rooms some guests found even hair and pieces of bread on their beds. we never had cleaning service ,breakfast with no quality at all ,this hotel lucks of inspiration and feeling. actually we paid double amount of money in comparison with all the other hotels in naoussa...for what????still feel very angry ,I could not open and close the shutters they are broken, no lighting during the night that was very dangerous as you could fell I to the empty pool...nightmare
