You are a one minute walk to an enchanting journey through the cobblestone side-streets of Athens. I have stayed at City Circus twice now and continue to appreciate the energy the owner and staff puts into their eclectic gathering point. I now consider CC as a launching place upon arrival to Athens.

Reviewed By JemOMuttockThis is the hostel to be! The location is perfect, everything in the heart of Athens is within a walkable distance. A walking tour is provided at 10am daily by the amazing Andrew, where you will be given a historical/mythical tour and advice on the best sites and quality food. I stayed in a 6 room female only dorm. Now my only negative comment is that it was freezing up there at night, however once mentioned to staff I was provided with extra blankets. My room was clean with plenty of storage space for a large backpack. Breakfast has something suitable for everyone, fruit, eggs, bread and cereal. The staff are what make this hostel unique. Walter and Costa are the barman from heaven and never fail to make happy hour enjoyable for all. Steph and her new staff member keep things going during the day, able to answer every question from recommendations etc The vibe of the hostel ultimately is what you make it but has everything for you to have a brilliant time and make loads of travel buddies. Activities are listed on the walls to inform guests. The cleaning staff are so kind and helpful! The roof top view is *chefs kisses* Cheap and cheerful! Thank you Athens Backpackers!

The property has been recently refurbished and within the price you get WiFi, clean linen and lockers. Laundry, breakfast and dinner are at competetive prices. Reviewed By timlucierYou get what you pay for, and this is definitely the most affordable hostel choice near Meteora. In a heatwave, it was very noticeable to us that the AC unit was broken. Beds have really noisy/crinkly plastic mattress protectors, everything is pretty dated. The kitchen is outdoors and the doors do not lock. Still - for the price point you really can't complain. Ask your host about breakfast at the cafe down the road, they have a bit of a partnership for an affordable brekky. Great location.

The host Jenny is a real gem she was so helpful booking us everything from quad to taxis , whatever we asked for she was there. So smiling and just so welcoming. The staff is lovely too, the breakfast we’re great ,the rooms are amazing, made with great taste and Details. The location perfect, 5 min walk from main restaurant so you get the peace and quite and you are not far from life. With a private beach garden with view on the sunset/sunrise I mean what else do you want in life? It’s amazing I will back and definitely recommend this wonderful place!

In fact, it is a typical cheap wretched hostel for a 1-2 night staying. The main thing is that photos on hostelworld/booking/etc. doesn’t fit with reality. So don’t expect too much.

Authentic Cretan hospitality & Unexpected Wonderful Sea View
Reviewed By chriscats2022I got there by chance, meeting Stylianos a representative of authentic Cretan hospitality, convinced me to stay in a hostel for the first time in my life. I don't regret it at all. For only 25€ per night, I stayed in a separate bedroom of the flat on the first floor, it even had a nice kitchen which I used for cooking & enjoyed my meal at the veranda which has a surprisingly wonderful sea view, there is a bbq also. I visited Platanos village, "Mouraki" tavern with a spectacular view of Falasarna beach from above, breathtaking! Falasarna has all the beach bars & the sea is crystal clear, definitely worth visiting more than once! Balos lagoon is unbelievable & the most exotic place in Greece I have ever been, you should definitely visit by boat trip, Stylianos will take you to the harbor of Kasteli no charge! There are buses just in front of this hostel, you have easy access to everything. The owner is one of a kind, always there to help you with everything you want to know about the area & all the wonderful places around it, always with a smile, he will offer you limonchello & lots of useful advices. Kasteli (Kisamos) is the ideal place to get a room if you want to visit Balos exotic lagoon, Falasarna & Elafonisi (pink sand!!) because is the closest place there combining all the shops, taverns & restaurants. Staying in Kasteli gives you the chance to visit all those places more that once, something that you won't have the time to do if you stay in the city of Chania. I believe that Kasteli is a hidden diamond & in the near future it will have all the investments & the 5* hotels it deserves. I plan to visit again.

Out of all the places I could have chosen to stay, and there are many, I could not have chosen better. TASOS, the owner. cummunicated with me perfectly before we arrived, sorting our transfer and was there to greet us on arrival, taking us to our room and explaining how things work, free safe and air con ? the studios have a secure gate and I would feel very safe should I come on my own. TASOS is always around should we need help or advice. The studio has everything and more that u might need, mattress is firm, which we like, I suspect pillows and mattress new, spare pillow should u require. If u require anything that isn't already in the room, just ask, he will do his best. Parga is everything I hoped for and more if I come again, and I certainly will, Dallas studios will be my choice, thankyou TASOS ??
