Reviewed By Mark-hu85The most beautiful hotel, such a big property but so well maintained. Gardens and walkways are beautiful. Plenty of pools, lovely beach. Traditional in style but not at all dated. The food, even in the buffet restaurants is ridiculously good quality with so much variety. Even snacks at the water park are outstanding. Cocktails are good quality and they don’t hold back on the spirits! Loads for kids to do. A short walk takes you to some nice beach bars if you fancy a walk out (one with a small kids area, perfect for us). I just can’t compliment this hotel and how it is run enough! Would love to return one day.

Reviewed By J9848QAdeborahaThis is our first time visiting Rhodes and we really wanted it to be a special, memorable experience as so many holiday makers would after a couple of years being unable to go abroad. We do use Trip Advisor as a guide when booking holidays and hotels, this occasion was no exception. Atrium Palace already has almost 5000, 5 star reviews - almost too good to be true but ratings like that, shouldn't dismissed and we're so glad we bit the bullet and booked our holiday here. This is another 5 star review and also the first I've ever written for a holiday. The hotel complex is stunning. The buildings are immaculate. Grandeur is definitely the vibe they are going for and they have completely nailed it. The grounds are beautiful - so much greener than we expected. A tremendous selection of trees, shrubs and flowers are planted in every available space and add to the the wow factor of the complex. Both the buildings and grounds are cared for to the highest standards. Staff are continually, yet unobtrusively, going about their business making sure the surroundings are kept in pristine condition. The food is wonderful too - there are several restaurants on site to choose from. The main restaurant is buffet style but the selection of food ensures that there is something for everyone. The quality of the food is exceptional and as you would expect, the fresh fruit and vegetables are full of flavour - I'm sure that has something to do with the 300 days of sunshine Rhodes is gifted with each year. We have a garden view room (439) which also, and was a surprise to us, has a small pool just outside the patio doors. This is not a swim up room, which are also available, therefore was completely unexpected so another little bonus for us. Our room has been kept immaculate throughout our stay - the house keepers work tirelessly and always greet guests with a smile. It is so hard to pick out individual staff, there are so many who have made our stay special and all the more enjoyable however, the few who we seem to touch base with most days and have been particularly attentive and welcoming are Rena, Mariana and Francesca.... no doubt, by the end of our stay, we'll have learned a few more names and need to add to our list and edit the review. Of course, there are so many behind the scenes, the chefs and groundsmen & women who we can't name unfortunately but their contribution to the overall impact of this hotel's stature cannot be overlooked. This truly exceptional facility would not receive such ratings if the entire team were not working so hard behind the scenes and ensuring the high standards are maintained across the board. I'm sure the management are already aware of this but hope this review reinforces that fact. Thank you to all the staff and management - we will be back to finish our site seeing of the island because one week, simply isn't enough.

Reviewed By Melissa FWe have just returned from a week here. Cannot fault it. Location perfect - just a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. Everything was immaculately presented at the hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean with toiletries provided. Fully stocked fridge mini bar. Staff friendly. Food excellent - wide choice of restaurants and all of very high standard. The food at the main buffet restaurant was also of high quality with lots of lovely choice. There’s also the bonus of the beach cafe, creperie and snack bar. 3 very clean pools catering for kids, those wishing to relax or for those that preferred music. All pools had a bar serving food. There was evening entertainment every evening and activities in the day if you wanted to join in such as pool Zumba, darts and beach volleyball. The beach is just across the road and there’s a little land train (not related to the hotel) which gives you a 2 hour tour of some of this beautiful island. We’d love to return to the Mitsis Laguna. Highly recommended!

The only slight down is the in house entertainment but that doesn’t detract from this idyllic holiday - would come back in a heartbeat! Spa is incredible, service is amazing and we cannot fault our stay - thank you to all the staff for making it so special ??

Thanks to the hospitality of the hotel team and especially of the concierge Natasa who took care of activities, dinners in Rhodes city, and other requests, we had a wonderful experience. Reviewed By oliviajd5Went as 2 couples for a sunny break away. Pleasantly suprised with our stay at kiani beach. Food was consistently good. As a family hotel we didn't feel too overwhelmed by the children present. Entertainment for adults as well as children. Great cocktails, worth the VIP upgrade. Near and accessible trips to chania, 25 euro in a taxi. Good days trips to visit some beautiful places. Thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip. Also the 50m pool which was great to do so lane swimming

There is a water park attached to the hotel which is out of this world, you can spend all day there. Bar staff were brilliant especially the outside bars, were nothing was too much. A bit confusing at first in what bars and eating places you can use if staying at Stella Palace as shared with other Stella hotels. Lovely pools and good amount of sun beds. Highly recommended

The hotel and especially the en-suite are a little bit dated, the indoor swimming pool unfortunately closed and both outdoor pools very cold. Bearing in mind last 2 Covid 19 years, extremely difficult for the tourist industry, the hotel is trying to do the best to compensate all this by an exceptional cleanness, excellent customer service and great entertainment and food. NEFELI at the concierge desk was our angel sorting out ALL our problems and answering questions as soon as we had one. ELENA in the Greek restaurant was so quick serving us, she was almost flying! And all the time with a smile on her face. In fact it’s very difficult to mention everyone helping at the hotel as everybody was very kind and always ready to help. The food was very tasty especially in the Greek and Italian restaurants. The room was spacious with a nice size balcony overlooking the garden. As the sea side was very windy we’ve done the right choice booking the garden facing one. And finely: During our stay my husband celebrated his birthday. We didn’t mention this while checking in so it was a very pleasant surprise for him to receive that day an email and card with birthday wishes from the hotel and a birthday cake (very tasty!) with a bottle of Prosecco in our room! Overall our stay was extremely pleasant and we would strongly recommend this hotel.

The food is incredible, the buffet is really good, the choice in a la carte well worth a visit, we always found plenty to eat in every restaurant. We’ve seen some comments about the wine, but we found the rose really lovely and one of our party is very picky. The best part about the hotel though is the staff. Every single person was lovely, really helpful and made you feel like they were pleased to see you. A special mention to the wonderful Adina who looked after us so well in the bar. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in for a lovely chilled week, can’t wait to return.

A very good resort
Reviewed By Vegard_MaldivitisWe stayed for a week during the end of September/ start of October 2022. This is a lovely resort! The layout is very nice, with only low buildings (3 floors, except the main building which might had 4). There are two pools and the resort is also located beach front, with the ocean at your doorsteps. The resort has a nice design overall, and it has a good atmosphere. We had a room in the 1st floor which was overlooking the smaller pool. We were somewhat happy with the room, but nothing more than what you can expect from a 5-star resort either. I would avoid the ground floor rooms if you are looking for privacy. We went for the all inclusive plan as we love to not having to think about the bill when on holiday. That being said; If we went b&b we really would not have spent more, so we were not really saving money on choosing the meal plan. Not all drinks and cocktails are included: Only two types od local draught beer was included, and neither of the G&Ts were. But there were still lots of cocktails to choose from, and the local wines were included (also bottles) and they were actually better than expected. The cocktails were also mostly good. Prices for local draught beer was 5, Corona 6 and weissbeer 7. Most cocktails were between 10-15 EUR (and a few costing more). The fine dining a la carte restaurant is not included either, but the other a la carte and buffet restaurants were. I am not sure we would have chosen the all inclusive plan if we went again, unless more of the beverages were included, as we did also order items that were chargeable, making it less good value for money. Food wise, the buffet restaurant had the best food. We really enjoyed our meals there. The a la carte restaurants could have some better quality. Some dishes were great, but not all of them, and there should either be more choices in the menu, or more rotation on a daily basis. After some days it becomes repetitive and not too much to choose from. The pool bar was also very nice, but it did fill up after dinner with few available seats. There was also a bar at the roof terrace, but few people were using it in the evenings. I guess it was mostly because it was not very cosy. The architecture was very pretty, but there were too many hard surfaces. So adding some plants/ trees and maybe some torches would soften it up, and more people would use it. That way the guests would spread out more for after dinner drinks, and the pool bar would be less crowded. That being said, they now seem to have added a new bar which might have solved the issue. What really stands out in this resort is the staff! The service is simply phenomenal! I would like to especially thank Michalis and Giota at Armira Restaurant and the other Michalis at Royal Blue buffet restaurant. A few improvements and I would rate this resort with 5 stars. We had a lovely holiday at Port Royal, and we would not mind going back at all.
