Will definitely return when in the area again. We booked at short notice and had to call to stay an extra night, the girl who got back to me was great and easy to deal with she took care of us no problem.

Reviewed By roquetera55I stayed in this hostal by myself whilst my husband was being treated in Carlos Haya Hospital opposite this hostal . From the time that I made the reservation the staff here were so helpful I was unable to tell them exactly how many days I would need the room for and in fact during his stay I changed the number of days four times , never once did this present a problem My requests were dealt with efficiently and in a friendly and caring manner . The room I was given was big , comfortable and very clean . The hostal was well situated with a bus stop just outside with buses which took you into the centre of the city . I would recommend this hostal and would certainly stay there again .

To upgrade back to my double room with balcony I had to pay an additional €7 per day in cash. This left me feeling I’d been ripped off. That said the staff were friendly the Wi-Fi and shower were well above average . Small but comfortable room

Sol y Miel hostel is situated on the center town of Arroyo de la Miel (Benalmádena). Very closed to the train station, taxi stops and bus station. 15 minutes walking from the beach and Puerto Marina. All the rooms are full equipped with Air conditioned, terrace, heating, TV DVD LCD, private bathrooms, free wireless.

Reviewed By mrs_rolyAfter booking an apartment in Benalmádena we arrived but the owner didn't. It was 9 pm and raining but we had heard about this hostel and thankfully they saved the night by letting us have a room for the night. Fab service,room had everything you need and a fantastic shower and as the apartment we were staying in had a hairdryer I hadn't packed one but the girl on the front desk lent me one for the night. Would book again in a heartbeat and also it is in a fantastic location.

We arrived and were invited to share a drink at the pool with the hosts and other locals. We were able to use all of the facilities. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in a basket was a nice touch!

A wonderful home from home experience

The views from the reception room and our bedroom of Nerja and surrouding areas, the Mediterranean and the mountains are just amazing! We had delicious home cooked food for breakfast, served with smiles and kindness. We really felt at home here, as if we were staying with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool and would highly recommend this little gem to anyone.

Placed very conveniently, near the lift,taxi rank,bars, shops,and just across the road from the beautiful beach.We had a three bedded room,which had more than enough space.The room had a fridge and kettle, unfortunately no view from the window but there was a communal sun terrace we could use,facing the sea.The room was cleaned every day,to a high standard, and clean towels given when needed. Our room was very quiet,the beds and pillows were amazing. We had a lovely, comfortable, short break,very good value for money. Best wishes and good luck with the busy summer season ,thank you..

Reviewed By susieq4921A one star hotel but in a great central location. Numerous cafes (for breakfast) and restaurants nearby with the Port a 25/30 minute stroll along the promenade. Be sure to call in at the Vice versa for the best tapas, Padron peppers and aubergine with honey and balsamic vinegar, just delicious. Really friendly reception staff, rooms cleaned every day, shower was good and things like soap and cups are replaced daily. No frills but valuables can be kept at reception and there's a hairdryer available on request. We had a great stay and, if you're just looking for a base in Estepona, I'm sure you will too.
