Great base for exploring

Reviewed By JD-94-travels

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in a One King Executive room. We were in the back building on the second floor, which was quiet, and it gave us a small view of the mountains so we could tell what the weather was doing. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location to be good for exploring between Sequim and Lake Crescent.

Bare bones at high price

Reviewed By P373ZOterryp

We spent one night here because it was the only room available and now I know why. The place has 9 rooms. Our room had a queen size bed which was comfortable and clean. The bed fit between the two walls with a small bedside table at each side with lamps that had to be unplugged to shut them off. There was a small table at the foot of the bed with maybe 3 foot separation from the bed. The bathroom was small and off to the side near the door. In other words it was a very small room. The TV was wall mounted and we had trouble with it when we first arrived getting any station. The man at the desk came and by calling his son was able to get the TV to work. The computer WiFi was iffy at best and a little faster than the old dial up connections. The connections came and went. The only positive comment was the room was clean but very small (~100 sq feet).

Older and better with character and great customer service

Reviewed By sexybaby7399

A great old fashioned motor inn with excellent customer service. Room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was fully tiled, both floor and shower/tub combo. There was plenty of hot water and ample water pressure. The large room included a table with chairs, a small mini refrigerator, a microwave, a counter and a 32 inch flat screen tv and a separate counter and sink. Both heat and air were available and functioned well as did internet. Free hard candy in the office.

Wow. We loved everything about this lodge. The area was so peaceful. The lodge is beautiful, every bit of it was so clean and laid back. Dwight was so very helpful with directions and info on the area. Easy driving to several areas we had planed to visit, was so nice to come back after a long day to such a nice place. The front porch and back patio are incredible. The breakfasts served were fantastic and so filling it carried us through the day of sight seeing and exploring. We highly recommend this location and can't wait to return. One warning, you will be spoiled and it might ruin you to other locations.

We arrived to find a conveniently located Bed and Breakfast that provided a serene setting overlooking the beautiful Vista of the Olympic mountain range. Recently remodeled and re-decorated, we had an amazingly restful experience. Breakfast the next morning was extremely well done. Starting with cranberry scone that were light and flaky and unlike any we’ve had outside of England. The eggs were done to perfection, the bacon was crisp and flavorful. Innkeepers Tim and Trisha were warm and welcoming. The Misty Valley Inn is a must stay(and return) if you are in the Forks area.

Not in the 'woodlands"

Despite the name, these cabins are on a large paved lot about 100 feet off Highway 101 (you can hear the logging trucks roaring by.) There are no trees of any size on the lot. Yes, the cabin interiors are charming and well-appointed, as others have said, but I suggest looking at photos of the outside so you know what you're getting when you reserve.
