Reviewed By djakob38Etwas versteckt im hinteren Teil von Letlhakhane befindet sich dieses kleine, aber überaus schöne Guesthouse mit freundlichem und sehr kompetentem Personal, welches perfekt Englisch spricht. Das Zimmer 4 war leider etwas klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht.

Thulamela Guest House is conveniently situated 250meters off A1 Highway on the outskirts of Mahalapye(central district) Botswana.This a convenient stop over spot for both leisure and business travellers from North South,West and Eastern side of the country.Ideal base for those heading to Kasane, Khama sanctuary, Tuli Block, Francistown and Gaborone. Guests have a choice of Standard to Executive rooms, all featuring en-suite bathrooms, double beds, air conditioned, DSTV with SABC's and free Fast-Wi-Fi, lovely views of the garden, no smoking is allowed in the bedrooms.
Nice rooms with aircon
Reviewed By John PWe stayed here as it is near to the road that leads to the Stockpoort boarding crossing and makes a break in the journey down from Gweta. We recommend you go for the slighty more expensive rooms with aircon. The simming pool was unfortunately not in operation. However the rooms are clean and have a DSTV, the wifi is also good. If you want dinner you need to book before 3pm so we dined at Maxis in the town which was OK.

Set in beautiful gardens, the Serowe Hotel is a charming Country Inn. It's homey atmosphere is well-balanced with modern convenience so guests have access to Wi-Fi, and recently renovated and well-appointed Suites and Standard rooms, all featuring Air Con. Serowe is one of Botswana's oldest, most historical villages and serves as a good overnight spot to the Okavango Delta and Chobe in the North. If you're not going that far, visit the Khama Rhino Sanctuary which is only 30km from the hotel. When it's hot, relax poolside with a beer and pizza from the bar. We look forward to your visit.

Reviewed By Sightsee25790609906The staff went out of their way yo make us feel comfortable. Check in was seamless. They were all very friendly and polite. The rooms were spotless and spacious. Food and service were great. It is a lovely place and we will come again. They are busy renovating after a part of some of the buildings burnt down, but this causes nou discomfort to clients. Our stay was wonderful. We also spent a lovey time in the lapa watching the Olympic games while enjoying dinner every night.

Great leadership and service
Reviewed By erickW8556XRI was stuck in Phikwe and needed WiFi for work and all the hotels were charging exorbitant fees for me to book a work space for a couple of hours but Stone Haven opened its doors to me for free. The owner/manager personally assisted me and advised me on solutions to my problem despite not being a guest. Amazing service!

Quiet sleep Saturday night
Reviewed By johnwR2358KLWe arrived in a thunderstorm, which may have quieted the music. The rooms are clean and well-furnished. When management found we had no towels they brought them right away. The air conditioner works well, and the WiFi was good. One problem was the floor of the shower was dangerously steep. I enjoyed a good, peaceful sleep, and woke refreshed.

Reviewed By dohertysbar1This is a good hotel with friendly professional staff. It is clean and the rooms are well priced. Unfortunately this hotel is close to a shebeen which plays loud music all night. If you want a peaceful sleep you need to think of staying somewhere else.

Reviewed By Johan SLovely little spot on the edge of the town with lots of parking. There is about 6 units available with queen beds. The rooms are spacious and colourful. Bathroom is nicely tiled. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Loved hearing the sounds of the town come alive at night while we had a bbq! Air conditioning worked well!! Plus it offers free WiFi which was great!!

Maintenance and repair lacking but very clean and comfortable.
Reviewed By Stephne AConsidering that this hotel is only 3 years old it is a terrible pity that it is not being maintained or repaired. The front entrance stairs are broken, the rainwater gutters are broken and not repaired, the window ledge tiling and surrounds need repair, the bathroom fixtures and fittings are falling off the walls.....and, and, and. BUT everything is squeaky clean and the linen and king size beds really comfortable. There is ample car parking and for those with trailers, there is a charge point so ask for that. A fridge in the room and coffee facilities. Free Wifi. We did not try the food before this review was completed. A good place to stop on the way up north the CKGR or other great places in Botswana.

Reviewed By PR-safariThe place was difficult to locate even though the town is small. Rooms good and clean. Staff very helpful. The property was still being constructed when we stayed. We ate dinner out but the breakfast was simple but good.
