This will be a beginning of a fabulous relationship between the Guest House and all our wonderful customers. Tshimologo Farm Guest House is located in the heart of the bush but is only a twenty minute drive from Francistown. The fresh air and the sound of birds singing in the spacious garden will help you to relax and rejuvenate your batteries. The warmest hospitality awaits you at Tshimologo Farm Guesthouse, which is owned and personally managed by Eileen. As she has a tremendous interest in people from all walks of life, she will go out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. Eileen enjoys sharing her home and its beautiful surroundings with people from all over the world. Tshimologo Farm Guesthouse is an establishment that is renowned for their delicious meals warm-hearted hospitality, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. Great if you know what to expect
Reviewed By Richard HI was looking for a basic camping facility to host a school sports team. I didn't want to stick the boys in a hotel where things could get broken and they might disturb other guests. Tshimologo was just what I was looking for. The tented accommodation is simple but adequate. The ablutions also, though they could perhaps be spruced up a little and maybe there is a better way to ensure enough hot water. There is space to run around. We experienced one very windy night but the tents kept the cold out - if not all the noise! There is a good area for braaiing if required. I did not investigate or use the cooking facilities. At night, the place is pretty well lit. Mrs Alberts is a friendly and attentive host. There may be some farm noises (dogs, sheep, hens) in the vicinity but my bed was very comfortable and I am not complaining. This is not - and does not claim to be - luxurious but if you are looking for simple and cheap accommodation in Francistown, I would be happy to recommend it. I anticipate returning at the same time next year! There is a more upmarket guest house but I did not go in or view that part.

Very helpful staff, clean rooms with airconditioning
Reviewed By wdulabhA little difficult to find at first, but what a pleasant surprise! The house is clean, with wonderul rooms, swimming pool and on site parking for our 4x4's with trailers! The staff lady was exceptionally helpful and even woke up at 5am to make breakfast as we wanted to get an early start. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay.

Despite having made a booking, they didn't seem prepared, as there was no breakfast the following morning and when I enquired on the same, the receptionist stated that they hadn't done their grocery shopping, which I find is totally unprofessional!

Reviewed By wdulabhThe rooms are spacious and well appointed. The family room next to the pool is huge! The bathrooms are big, but the fittings are badly maintained and poorly built. The staff were very helpful though. All in all a very comfortable stay. I recommend it, and if they are fully booked, then try Inca Rose which is close by too.

Reviewed By VickyWallaceWow. Had such a fabulous stay at Marico Guest House. It is only 2 minutes off the main road but no traffic can be heard from the guest house. Greeted with huge smiles and lovely and welcoming check-in. We were taken to our stunning room with a flat screen tv, wonderfully quiet AC, beautiful and extremely clean bathroom, they have thought of everything. Even the softest, most comfortable dressing gowns were placed on our bed. It is also disabled-friendly (disabled parking, railing in bath/shower etc.). We had a very comfortable night's sleep, and as we had to leave early in the morning we asked them not to worry about breakfast, but upon departure they gave us 2 packed breakfasts for our journey. It is such a well run BnB with every little detail covered and incredible service. Thank you so much to the team, we will definitely be seeing you in the future! Vicky and Mike

Reviewed By NbazzVery reasonable in prices but far from the the major roads and we struggled to get to the place.The good thing about this place is that they have another one in Kasane .If your are on a tour trip this the place. Everything was functioning properly and staff were welcoming us with both hands and we're very helpful .

Clean and simple
Reviewed By SnowgoooseAfter a disaster with our booking by Hotel.com and other hotels being far to expensive we found this hotel. The owner and receptionist were most welcoming and as the rooms were clean and spacious we booked in. After our bad experience in a hotel in Gaberone earlier in the week, we were happy to have a large , clean room. A drawback was the lack of bedside lights. The breakfast was very poor having been pre-cooked - eggs, bacon sausage and beans. The microwave was broken and the breakfast could not be warmed. Nor was there tea or coffee available. Cooking the breakfast while clients wait would go a long way to improve the service.
