Reviewed By erasmu483462Very Cold in May, no heating we had -2 degrees, Shower bad but my women would not use the shower when you have minus degrees inside!! Food with few light in the dining room. You can´t see nothing. price very high for this quality we had booked with Booking.com The Hotel write us many times to pay by bank transfer, we can´t understand this. The Hotel write us a payment with credit card is only with a charge of 4% posible!!!!! The Hotel wrote us -Mrs. Petra- the cancel the reservation when we don´t pay. The reservation was booked with Guaranty of Booking, Com We had much discussions with Petra and so we decided to pay in Cash. Never again !!

Sitatunga Campsite is located 12kms out side of Maun on the road towards Ghanzi. We have a large campsite with shared ablutions and 12 simple clean and affordable chalets with ensuite ablutions and airconditioning. Or try out our new Meru Tents located in a beautifully shaded area. Perfect for campers that are tired of setting up their tent and are looking for that extra bit of comfort and privacy. Sitatunga Camp has a great setting and you can relax in our bar and restaurant (free wifi)and make use of our swimming pool. The campsite offers large well shaded areas with powered (220v) sites and bbq / braai facilities.There are two shared ablution blocks. The campsite has security guards employed on a full time basis. Predominantly our business caters for the overlanders so come and enjoy some beers and tell some stories. We also offer Mokoro safaris and day trips in to the Okavango and Mobile Safaris and day trips to National Parks. Other activities include Scenic Flight, Helicopter or Fixed wing aircraft, Horse riding and sunset boat cruises(seasonal)

Reviewed By Rein vWe arrived at jump street chalets and asked the reception lady if she had rooms available. She said that she only had 3 rooms left (at that moment nobody was there) so we were lucky as we were with the 3 of us. They showed us the rooms which were very basic but after a long drive from north gate we were not to critical. Price per room 650 pula excluding breakfast. My room did not have a key (they only found out after I unpacked) and had to repack and move to another room (were they not fully booked..?). Beds were terrible, mattresses should have been replaced years ago. We did not have water which was not disclosed when we came in. Reception staff was friendly but dishonest about the facility. This place needs a serious upgrade (everything is very old) else it will die very soon. Positive thing was that we got a discount because of the water issue.

Reviewed By BettieLuWe were very exited to visit Boteti Tented Safari lodge to experience the perfect safari feel in a remote location in a luxury tent. To listen to the calls of the night whilst sipping wine. We thought that calls of the night whilst experiencing the safari feeling, would be lion, hyena or even jackal. Not here. Instead we heard cows ‐ with bells atound their necks - donkeys, dogs and chickens. People riding on donkeys and horses past the 'lodge'. Our luxury tent was a normal safari tent with very little shade in the afternoon, making it very unpleasant inside. Our daytrip to Moremi was a long and bumpy one. Most probably of all the rains we had. It took +- 4 - 5 hours to reach the Moremi gate. Very unpleasant drive. In hindsight, I would rather have spent our money on a real safari where the real sounds of the African night can be heard. Except if you like the sounds of donkeys, cows, chickens and dogs. Then this place is for you. Go there! The staff is amazing and do their utmost to keep one happy. Sadly a very unpleasant experience for us.

We offer 4 Safari tents with full bathroom and 2 campsites situated between Maun and Moremi Game Reserve. Elephant Havens, baby elephants rescue, is situated 4km from Semowi. All our tents have an incredible view on the river and the hippos. You will enjoy the sunrise from your bed. We are situated in an oasis of tranquility in the middle of nature. You can have a drink or enjoy a meal at our bar/restaurant which is also facing the Gomoti river.
