The fish was very fresh. The spaghetti were so so, especially the sauce. The location is very simple, the service not very good but itâs worth a try. I would recommend it for simple grilled fish.

Servers were all great, kept coming back because it was so much easier than dealing with the sumptuous buffets at our resort- best burger I had in the whole two weeks and good steak, smoothies too- quick (surprisingly for Tanzania) and friendly, say hi to the servers Hamid (?) and Ivan, tell them Josh from the US sent you... run by Italians and they are really trying, good bathrooms with (also surprisingly for Tanzania) paper towels (or napkins)I wish they had a bigger menu, you get the feeling that there are more dishes they could do a good job with

Ate here tonight with my family, including my two children 12 and 13. The restaurant is smart ans spacious, the staff are very good and the food is absolutely superb (reminded me of Italy!!!) Reasonable selection, all freshly cooked to order. Good chef, good portions and good value also.I will return

We stumbled upon this gem by chance, had the most wonderful dinner. Really friendly staff and lovely owner Janet! Not the quickest as have to wait while itâs freshly cooked, but is well worth the wait!!Delicious food and good value.Went again the next evening and the following day for lunch.Great place to relax on the sun beds and good WiFi. We love it and will go again several times this coming week.It will certainly be one reason to return to this area!

We were there for two days for lunch and dinner and we ate very good without spending so much. Prices are right but the difference from other restaurants is the quality, at zan view you eat high quality, service is very nice. You must try pizza

Stayed three wonderful nights at this brand new small hotel (AC, small pool, stable hot water and wi-fi, run by a young couple of hospitable owners) that gives right onto a beautiful beach. Had three memorable dinners: perfectly grilled fresh seafood (lobster, octopus, calamari, whole fish), crispy seaweed (mixed with mango-avocado) salad, sea urchin pasta.Chef is definitely talented and creative!Friendly service.

Everything at the Zanzibar Bandas was perfect. First of all, the staff is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The bungalows are lovely, directly on the beach for a very private and romantic experience. The restaurant serves great food for all type of tastes (seafood, fish, vegetarian and vegan food). It's fresh, made of quality ingredients, deliciously seasoned! Hard to find better than that!

Just visited the place twice last week. It serves fair local food, hence it can of course not compare with a real restaurant. The place is a real beach restaurant and the service is nice.However, if you want your fish and different type than well done - good luck.Also the side come down to rice or chips (chips I can recommend as they are done well).

Very welcoming small local restaurant, located inside a village along the Matemweâs seaside.You can taste day-caught fish plates with just 6$ each (bottle of water included), excluded shared or personal requested meals: the best value-for-money far away.You can find fresh calamari, octopus, king-fish, lobster and all of the local caught: always perfect cooked and served with ugali, rice or chips.During your lunch/dinner, you can see the daily activities of a local village, that makes your meal unique.
